I LOVE CHURROS and yes, I meant that in all caps to be read at the top of your mental voice while running down Main St with a churro in each hand cackling like a mad woman.
Tucked in behind Harmsworth Paints and the TD Bank down the little lane (Harmsworth Lane) you feel a sense of accomplishment when you find it.
You open the door and the delicious scent of cinnamon and fried dough wafts out and hugs you in the best "its okay now" way. The entire team shouts out to welcome you in several languages...(Severna the single mom owner speaks like 5) and you immediately feel amongst friends.
Recently added in addition to the sweet, sweet churros is a counter for Mexican delights....tacos, empanadas, and so much more. To get more authentic you'd need to book a flight. Which, currently, we can't do. So way better option here.
Hours vary but Severna's got serious social media skills....Tiktok, Insta, Facebook....you name it. You can also get churro cakes, or special order large numbers.
FAVS:: the strawberry churro with white chocolate dip or the dulce de leche with cinnamon sugar.
