They have a huge selection of freshly butchered, pre-marinated and deli style meats to choose from. Youll also find a wide variety of cheeses, sauces and frozen foods. On many occasions, I've bought the white shish chicken & the chaplee to grill at home. Salt and other seasonings are on-point. Ps - they have a points system so you can redeem those points towards your purchases. read more

Staff was very helpful, and the quality of meat was really good!! Pre marinated and lots of variety. Recommend spicy tawook. read more

I wished I could give a 4.5 star for this place. Ok this place is located at Hillcrest and Eglington. It's the biggest outlet at the little mall so spotting this place is super easy. As expected they have good precautionary measures for Covid. The butcher shop is very neat , nice and clean. The meats are separated and placed as per the cuts. They have numerous ready to cook options which are marinated and placed well. Some of the marinated items were Shawarma Chicken, Tandoori , Spicy Tandoori breast etc. Barbecue / grill is super easy when all you had to do was to buy the meet abs straight into the heat. I ordered for some goat and the staff was friendly and professional enough to greet me first and checked with me on the size and the type of cut I wanted. The meat was well packed and handed to me . The price however did look on the higher side . They sold a lot of add on items which are used for cleaning and cooking the meat. This place is definitely worth a try. I am sure you will like this Butcher shop. read more

There's so many different fresh meats to choose from! They sometimes also offer samples so you can try. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. I love their beef burgers the most. Staff is super friendly, the store is clean and you might just run into Hazel McCallion. read more

What a pleasant find. My neighbors mainly eat halal meat so I ended up on their trek to this butcher shop after a Costco trip. The shop is spotless! Plenty of options for the cuts of meat with beef, mutton well represented here. White meat had plenty of options as well with a few types of marinate options. I also spotted plenty of cured meat as well (house made and factory produced). I ended up picking up some sujuck sausage (will report back later on the quality). OK selection of cheese, yogurt to boot as well. The prices are very reasonable (you have to still pay through your nose for the organic halal option from the other shop). They also have an option to call in ahead so the meat is prepped to your liking sans the wait. I associate the halal butcher options in Toronto to be borderline unacceptable due to the cleanliness and mad house feel for the popular spot. This is the way it ought to be as there is a big enough market. read more

If you are looking for the best quality (halal) meat in all of the GTA look no further. Paramount has replaced our drive to a very busy Costco or other grocery chains with their excellent selection of raw and cured meats and also the best dry aged steaks. It's a whole experience, I tell you! As soon as you walk in you can help yourself to some excellent brewed tea to sip on while you walk around the store. Paramount staff also do a great job as taking your specific order. Since our household eats a lot of curry or stir fried meals you can get your meat cut to small or cubed sized bits that are perfect for pots and pans. Most big chain grocery chains are not as flexible. My wife does not eat pork so to find cured meats like veal bacon has been fantastic for her and her love for charcuterie boards. They also have fantastic mediterranean antipasto bar and house made garlic sauces to go! I love this butcher shop. We make it a habit of going there once a month, but even more during BBQ season. read more

Love love love this place. They have a wide selection of meats here. This ranges from fresh cut up raw chicken, marinated meats, cold cuts and others. The pre marinated meats are my go to here. Some of my favourites are tandoori, Shish tawook and shawarma. You can get these in leg, breast and skewers pieces. Both the spice level and salt and very appropriate. You can also buy pitas, spices and sauces here. I never leave the store without garlic sauce which is addictive! If you need more groceries then I would suggest you go to the bigger store as you can get more yummy Arabic goodies! These people are honest and will leave you satisfied. read more

Not impressed with experience today...felt like I was being price gouged. The food is great but when I ordered 2 steaks ticket price in meat counter they added more money and I said but that's not the ticket price they argued with 1 certain gentleman and gave me ticket price but "that gentleman wasn't happy" feeling like price gouging or taking advantage not cool as i am a great customer of this establishment! Wow I guess there's greedy rat's everywhere, I didn't expect it from paramount though!!!Especially since making big name with Hershey Centre now you're crooks at your butcher store ? Rethinking ever going there again...meat is good.....but wow to meat counter guy! read more

I come here once is a while to pick up some dry aged beef when I am in the mood to do a DYI steak dinner at home. I don't find many meat shops in the area carrying dry aged beef! There is quite a good selection of various meats there from ready to cook marinated beef to lamb and chicken. I'm from San Francisco, but most of my family is in the GTA. My mother-in-law introduced me to this newly-opened establishment. I wasn't expecting much, especially since it's located in a nondescript strip mall a few blocks from Square One, but my oh my -- was I surprised. Going in felt like being transported to San Francisco -- I could see this place fitting right in the Ferry Building at the Embarcadero, competing with the fresh and organic meats from local farms in the region. I was seriously impressed -- the ambiance was great, the service was excellent, and the meats looked so fresh and delicious -- I almost wanted to have a barbeque in 8 degree weather! They also had cooked meats, like the rotisserie chicken fresh from the oven -- which we ended up getting because it just smelled so good, along with a jar of mustard and marinade (which were also good!). I really hope the neighborhood supports this business -- Mississauga needs more establishments like these! read more

Everything about this place is devine! The workers are friendly, smily and helpful. The decor is beautiful and invitingThe store is absolutely pristine and sparkly! The selection...it has everything from lamb chops yo marinated shish taouk...to sausages and cold cuts. It even has beef bacon. The quality is top notch. I got the montreal style turkey and it was just so good. As a nutritionist I shy away from cold cuts, but knowing all of the meat comes from his own slaughter house and everything is made in house, I know that it has alot less preservatives than other brands. Thats another thing. 100% halal not a single doubt in my mind. They raise and slaughter their own meat. Its fantastic! Price is also very comparable to the market. It is by no means more expensive or cheaper. Love it! read more

Paramount Butcher's is like a designer Halal meat store. It is absolutely stunning inside, super clean and pretty. There is complimentary Kahwa (Arabic cardamom coffee) which helps whilst you browse the huge variety of products they have to offer. Being married to a proud carnivore, we have to make a stop here whenever in Toronto. He comes prepared with his huge cooler box and is ready to go crazy inside. We love the deli meats - so many flavours to choose from. Some personal favourites are the sun-dried tomato Turkey, Montreal smoked meat, Cajun chicken and the super meaty Beef frankfurters! We have tried almost everything in store and though the prices are on the steeper side, it truly is amazing quality. They even vacuum seal the packs so you can freeze with ease! I also love the homemade burger patties (try the Soujouk beef burger for a spicy kick), the marinated short ribs (no words for this... just wow), the juicy lamb chops, the dry-aged beef steaks and the marinated beef stir-fry that is amazing for Philly cheese steak sandwiches! It definitely is the place for last minute barbeques or meals as their pre-marinated meats and chicken look and smell delicious. And best of all, it is Halal! For those who are unaware, the halal method of preparing meat is ensuring the animal has been fed & cared for properly prior to slaughter and the meat is extremely clean and hygienic. Highly recommend! read more

Very clean store. I'm happy to hear that their meat is antibiotic and hormone free. Their animals have access to clean water, free to roam, and are not confined. Now here lies the problem. Their animals are fed corn, soy, and/or wheat. Animals do not instinctively eat this type of feed unless they are hungry. I contacted Paramount head office and the general manager reached out to me and told me that the animal feed is government approved. He would not confirm whether the feed is non-genetically modified organism (non-GMO). This leads me to believe that the most likely source of food for the animals is GMO since it is cheap to buy and readily available. And for those that do not know, GMO should be completely avoided. Unfortunately, this is a common practice in the meat industry and things are starting to change slowly. I hope Paramount pays heed to this. I expected more since you are paying more to get your meat from a premium halal butcher shop. That said, I will be getting my meat from BlossomPure Organic where their meat is either organic or pasture raised. Best of all it's halal. read more

I had heard about this from an article in the newspaper and wasn't expecting much, as soon as I walked in, WOW. It was so friendly and open, clean and very well organized! The staff were so friendly and it was a very clean atmosphere. I've been looking for halal turkey slices everywhere in the GTA that were fresh and cooked, and this place had them! They had a variety of deli meats and samples too. It is not only well priced but the details of slaughter and procedure are very clear. I was seriously very very impressed and will now continue to shop for my meats here. read more

This is probably the best halal butcher in Toronto, perhaps Canada. Paramount is doing something nobody else has, and thank them for it - they are bringing a boutique style high end butcher to the halal (or non-halal) market. They have done a wonderful job and I hope the community supports them. Thanks for bringing this gem to Mississauga. There restaurant near Dixie and Eglinton is also excellent if you're hungry for some great Lebanese food. read more

I drove over here expecting the usual nondescript mall I've seen over the years and low and behold I was SHOCKED to see this amazing butcher place take over the corner. With gorgeous wood, shiny silver accents, and large windows, it beckons you in to stroll around and just be in awe of the amount of meat hanging around you. I've never seen a halal butcher place like this before. This rivals any high end supermarket regardless of type. Mark McEwan... take notes cause this place is possibly better than yours. For starters, it's spotless... everything gleams including the floors and corners. The air is fresh and not a single things smells and considering the amount of meat in that place, that is a feat. There is everything from a prepared fresh meat section where meat selection are marinated for you to a huge area of just freshly butchered to a deli section ANNNND this does not include the huge meat curing area behind the counters, the butcher section, or the frozen meat and fresh olive area. I bought some chicken and beef from here and I can say that the quality is far and above what I get at the grocery store... and the secret is that it is slightly cheaper than them too! I'll be back here again to try more items. Especially the marinated section where the Mediterranean flavours are in full force (lamb kabobs, yogurt and spices marinated chicken... yes please!) The service is welcoming as well and very helpful. They have great suggestions and even offer ways to cook it so it's optimal. Also, as mentioned previously, the prices are spot on for the quality. I don't feel ripped off one bit. If you're in the area and want to do some BBQ or cook a slab of meat, definitely make this your pit stop. You will not be disappointed! read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Heritage Hills shop I ordered online and was expecting the delivery on Monday. They called me to reschedule the delivery to the next day and the lady confirmed that it will be freshly packed. The next day she called to reschedule again to the following day and reassuring me that the order will be freshly packed so I didn't cancel my order. On Wednesday I received my order and I was shocked to see receipt and invoice with Monday's date. No labels on the packaging to confirm the weight of each pack. All packs were overweighted based on the receipt. And in one of the packs they even billed 2.5lbs instead of 1lb. Unbelievable!! When I opened the packs to put in the freezer I realised that the order was not fresh as she said and I paid $100 for meet packed since 2 days. I had to throw beef stew and some pieces of eye round because it was BLUE! I would never recommend to order online from Paramount Butcher Shop Heritage Hills. And this would be the last time I order from Paramount. NEVER NEVER AGAIN read more

I would recommend the butcher shop to anybody who loves Mediterranean or Asian meats. Not only do they sell pre marinated meat but also non marinated meats too. Halal all the way. Everything looks so fresh and the shop is kept extremely clean. I tend to always buy the pre marinated meats. They never fail to amaze my friends at my BBQs. The tandoori chicken leg and thighs are the bomb digity. Flavour explosion. The in house Kafta is amazing too. They serve free Cardamom Coffee at the shop so very prepared to get jacked up while browsing. Lol. I find the staff are always pleasant and professional. The shop also has a cold table with all the Mediterranean sides from pickles to olives. Great selection. It is a busy plaza so Parking is sometimes an issue. read more

Beeing a foodie i also like to cook with qulity ingredient ! I love to buy fresh meat but fresh meat is also defined by its cut ! Paramount is mind blowing in its quality and cuts ! The redness of the meat, the choices of their deli meats/cold cuts is mind blowing ! I was used to buying cold cuts in packaging from big companies but at paramount you have the opportunity to get it fresh, at the desired thicknes and packaged in vaccum sealed bags ! From smoked to different seasoning the choice is not something they are missing, from turkey to beef to chicken , its not the animals that are missing :)! Really it is paradise ! The staff is super friendly, nice, professional .. I will definately drive from montreal once every 2-3 months to the butcher shop so i can cook with quality meat read more

This place is clean. Everything I want from a meat shop. The prices I don't know but seems competitive.

This place is VERY impressive!! i have been to many halal meat shops and grocers and to be honest cleanliness and quality are left to be desired. This is certainly NOT the case with Paramount. A spin off the ultra delicious and successful paramount restaurant this is a butcher shop of very high standards. The Quality of the meat Itself is amazing and will compete with any high end butcher shop. The staff are very pleasant and insightful and most of all IT'S CLEAN. When I say clean, it's spotless !! Highly recommend. read more

Love this place. Very fresh, high quality meat at very reasonable prices. I inquired about the beef and lamb provided and found they are fed a mixture of grass/corn, which is definitely a premium feed which produces the best meat. The service is equally excellent and I've been impressed at how friendly and knowledgeable the butchers here are. They had great suggestions for how to cook the meat and very patient in helping me decide on how best to cut certain meats. Great selection of meats and you can get everything cut to your liking. I will be stopping by for all my meat shopping in the future! Good Butcher! We've been coming here for years. When the family is in the mood for steak, we always go to Paramount.

Okay, so its been a while since my last review. I've noticed an improvement in the customer service so wanted to reflect this in the review. This has now become a regular place for me to get my meat. This place is halal meat heaven. Incredibly clean and well-organized, and they have every kind of meat and cut you can think of. They also have pre-marinated stuff as well as ready-to-cook things like chicken nuggets. Plus, they carry sides to enjoy with your meat, like labneh, sauces and pickled vegetables. The staff is incredibly sweet as well. I always go here even though it takes me nearly half an hour. But it's worth it! read more

I was expecting a more selection. but deli style halal butcher is definitely needed in easy Toronto. Try the smoke Montreal style beef.

Best halal butcher shop that I have ever seen. Great selection, not only of basic cuts, but also of deli meats and extras like salads. My mother loves getting cuts of roast beef and smoked chicken for sandwiches. I have tried their deli meats and other products, and the quality is as good as any other quality butcher shop. Great service, always courteous, good price for the quality. Owned by the same owner who runs Paramount restaurants. read more

The quality of meat is superb. It's a bit on the expensive side but your tummy will thank you later.

This place is extremely clean from what you can see in the front. I've been here several times. As someone who wants to believe they are paying a premium for top quality cuts, I'm still undecided. I can't confirm if the chicken is free range, grain fed or pumped with antibiotics. I can say this from repeated, numerous observations here... don't ask the staff to do anything over and beyond package your food. They will talk smack about you to eachother right in front of you. It's been disappointing to see this happen almost every time I've been in there. They should appreciate having a job and happily provide customers service as per their requests. read more
