I'd honestly never looked into a butcher shop in Brampton before and I didn't want to spend the prices I'd get at a Fortino's or Longos meat department. This place came up on my search and was really close to home so I thought I'd go and check them out. The same location is an informal restaurant as well and seemed to be fairly busy. As far as the butcher shop, I believe all the meat is marinated with about 15-20 things to choose from. The price per pound was very agreeable to say the least. I think the chicken legs and thighs were $3.99/pound. One of the more expensive items - the lamb chops - was about $12/pound. I ended up buying tandoori and spicy chicken legs and thighs, lemon chicken which was de-boned thighs, as well as lamb chops. Unless you've already been immersed in north Indian food, you're probably like me just going to go on the assumption that it will taste good as there's no detailed list of ingredients for the marinades. They all ended up being great with perhaps the lemon chicken a notch lower as it didn't seem to BBQ as well (though the staff said it would be good that way). Could just be a preference thing. The lamb was my favorite and in spite of not knowing what it was marinated with, it was fantastic. Really great food, and makes life easy to have marinated meats. Very cheap too as I couldn't believe the final bill especially given the weight of the bag I was leaving with.

The naans were too hard the kids was unable to chew and they got hurted as well as the rice that we have ordered were uncooked. The chicken was also not too good looks like uncooked . At the end we put all the left food into garbage because no one able to eat it. Overall, experience was bad and don't want too visit here again.

I was a loyal customer at the old location, but the new location has been a major disappointment…read more This was my second visit to the new restaurant. On Thursday, January 8 around 7:00 p.m., I ordered a 9-piece fried chicken, a chicken sandwich, and a whole rotisserie chicken for takeout. Every single item was overcooked. The fried chicken and sandwich were an extremely dark brown, which strongly suggests either severely overcooked chicken or old, poorly maintained frying oil. The chicken sandwich was so hard it was difficult to bite into and impossible to finish. The rotisserie chicken was also burned, with obvious scorch marks on the skin. What makes this unacceptable is that the restaurant wasn't even busy, and there were no rotisserie chickens available when I arrived. This points to serious kitchen mismanagement--either the heat was far too high or the food was left cooking far longer than it should have been. The quality gap between the old and new locations is shocking. The previous staff clearly knew how to prepare chicken properly. At this new location, it appears there is a complete lack of training, quality control, or experienced kitchen leadership. Burning food at this level should never leave the kitchen. Unless there is a major improvement in training and oversight, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

It's worthwhile making a trip here to stock up on good quality chicken, especially the skinless,…read moreboneless pieces.
