Ah, I've missed Mexican food in Georgia. Florida, aside from TacoSon, doesn't compare. The staff were polite, professional, and accommodating. I had the ceviche pescados (appetizer but big enough for a meal with Avocado, crackers, salad, and lime); my guy had the Fajitas Hawaiiana (3 plates, Fajitas included steak, chicken, and shrimp with grilled pineapple). The servings are HUGE. The taste was fresh and flavorful. Chips and salsa yummy. We had Micheladas- the biggest ever! Of course they were prepared authentic and not so salty. This place isn't terrible. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. The waiters are always friendly. I've been here now a handful of times and I have never had a bad experience. Once I made the mistake of ordering something that was too spicy and my waiter laughed (nicely) at me and brought me something a little more mild. The bar is in a location where there really isn't a quiet place to sit during drinking hours, but the food and staff make up for it. Food is always hot and delicious. Came here twice for lunch on a trip to Kings Bay and ordered from the lunch menu both times. Very quick and attentive service, and good food too. Also they give you chips and salsa, enough that I couldnt even finish them. I'd like to go back after work sometime to try their margaritas. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because one meal didn't come out with the other three...and it wasn't because the server couldn't carry all the plates or get help. There was plenty of help. Not impressed at all. If this is the best Mexican food in Camden County, then I will not be eating Mexican food in Camden again. The service was friendly, but very slow. When we got our chips and salsa the chips were stale and tasted horrible. We informed or server and did not get new chips for about 30 minutes. The replacement chips we received were slightly better but they were not as fresh as I expected considering how long it took to replace them. My wife had the shrimp quesadilla which she said she enjoyed. I had enchiladas rancheros and a taco. I did not enjoy either item. The enchilada plate was swimming in grease. Mexican food is greasy, I understand, but this was beyond a reasonable amount of grease. Also the taco came about 10 minutes after all of our other food. My wife and I had already figured we weren't getting it when they finally brought it. I will not be back. read more

I've eaten here twice. Both times was with a group of friends and were good experiences for me. I definitely prefer them over barberitos. Was badly disappointed after all the good reviews. Food was obviously microwaved to reheat, flavor was bland and service was less than average. To top it all off, both the wife and I got sick shortly after eating here (we both had the chicken). Coincidence maybe but since we have a large family with many young kids, and since we were the only 2 people on the family "blowing it out both ends" and none of the kids were sick, seems like too much to just be coincedencr.gir me. Been going here for years to the point my daughter and I go every Monday. I always order the shrimp burrito supreme and it's usually then length of the plate but the past couple of times it has gotten smaller and smaller and their quality of their food has gone down too!! Fajita texana (chicken steak and shrimp fajita) came out better than i expected. The steak is tender and not hard/chewy. Im not a fan of white meat so I didnt touch the chicken (the kids were supposed to eat that, but they bailed out on me ), but shrimp were also good. They were big shrimps and I got about 5-6. All well seasoned. Comes with rice, black beans, pico, lettuce sour cream and ahredded cheese. My husband's chille verde was delicious too. Very generous portion. This unassuming strip mall is home to a delicious Mexican Restaurant. A recommendation from a local was key in searching Mi Casa out. There isn't much development in the area so you need to know what to look for. You can get a sense of how good the food is by the busy parking lot and busy diners. Language is a little bit of a struggle with the waiter we had, but our order came out perfectly. My husband got the Colorado Burrito which is huge and stuffed with beef, chorizo and chicken. The sauces on top were spicy and delicious. I ordered a cheese stuffed chili Rellano that was not batter fried. I've never had the pablano pepper this way and WOW was it better than dipped and fried in egg. The pepper was not over done and the sauces savory and not too hot. As a person who just spent the last 7 years in SoCal amongst some of the best Meximerican food, this is the best Mexican food around Camden County. I had their California Burrito plate. Now they didn't use French fries but the potato was crisp and just as good. Great guacamole as well! Good eats and great service. The only neg was it's a little crowded. read more

I've been going to Mi Casa for a couple of years now and I have never been disappointed. Our meals have always arrived promptly and freshly cooked...even when the kitchen staff is busy. The menu is amazing and the food looks just as good as it is described. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and always available (even when busy). The bar never skimps on the mixed drinks and the bars' atmosphere is fun and sporty...the only place I would go to watch soccer and have a few Modelos. I ordered dinner through the DoorDash App on May 5th, I knew I would have to wait a bit just because it takes time to make food, but when an hour had passed and I saw my dasher was still at the restaurant I thought things might be a bit backed up, after all it was Cinco de Mayo. Then I got a call from my dasher that someone at the restaurant told him they had cancelled all DoorDash orders without any explanation. When I went to social media I found out that Mi Casa does this all the time. I guess they don't want any business? They will never get my business again. It is shameful and they should get off the DoorDash app so no one has to deal with this. I'm not giving them any stars because of this. read more

Wow - we just had the best meal - the fish tacos were outstanding and our waiter swore they were made with "some sort of grouper". My wife enjoyed her top shelf margarita and chicken, green chili enchiladas. The service was excellent and even though it was Friday evening they seated us right away. The best authentic Mexican cuisine I have ever had! We stopped in on the way down to Florida and I was definitely not expecting this type of meal- it was out of this world good! For desert, we had a cup of coffee and shared a sopapia (sp). We wanted decaf coffee, but was told they did not serve it, so we had regular. Looks like your normal Mexican joint in a strip mall area, but this place is a class above the usual. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. The menu has all the staples along with some great originals. The salsa is good, queso good, and I had The "Colorado" burrito with steak, chorizo, chicken, rice, black beans, guac, lettuce, covered with quest and a mildly spicy sauce.
