I honestly wish I could give this review 10 stars! Mi Casa Es Tu Casa is a beautiful landing spot for families with little ones who are looking to nurture their creativity, self expression, and language development. We have only attended one class so far but I can already see how much care and love the entire team puts into their classes and the children. The classes are structured while still allowing space for flexibility and fun, plus it's a low pressure environment without any sense of judgement. It truly feels like a "come as you are" space which is so appreciated in today's culture! We are so excited to have found this gem! read more

We love Mi Casa EsTu Casa. Nothing better than dancing and singing in Spanish with my little girl and the team is amazing!!! We totally recommend them read more

My family and I absolutely love Mi Casa Es Tu Casa. My toddler adores the weekly classes with Valerie--she's singing and dancing from start to finish. We've enjoyed the experience so much that we've already signed up for the Winter session and can't wait to come back. read more

My toddler goes to a Spanish-immersion daycare, and I was so excited to find these classes to continue to learn and explore Spanish. It has been one of the best decisions I've made! Over the 12 weeks I've watched him grow and gain more confidence- dancing and playing with the instruments and remembering the signs and movements. We listen to the app and sing the songs outside of the class as well, and he'll regularly request his favorites. Our instructor, Julie, is so engaging and sweet, and she did an awesome job of making everyone feel seen and welcome. I cannot say enough about Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! We will definitely be back for more! read more

Adored this class so much! Our instructor, Julie, was so warm and engaging. She built a rapport with each of the kids through individual interactions and encouraged the kids to move around and enjoy the space together. We walked away feeling like part of a community. The songs were engaging --incorporating movement, sound, and interaction. It was also pretty great that the class was so dynamic. They eased us into it with slower/mid-tempo songs. Shortly after that, the songs were lively and uptempo with dances and fun movements. Then, they brought us back down with a slower song and ended the class with a nice send off where every kid got to touch the guitar and say good bye to the instructor. Our son loved it and so did we! The only thing that's disappointing is that there aren't more weekend classes available. This is the probably the best toddler music class in town and we would've loved to sign up for a session if the weekend classes weren't full. We'll be doing drop in classes while we keep our eyes out for an opening! read more

All the staff are terrific! Been taking my toddler there for 1.5 years, & she enjoys the class every week. It's easy to follow very interactive, & she's picked up a lot. They really gear towards developmental stages, & we've attended with 5 different teachers & each one has been fantastic! read more

I can't say enough great things about Mi Casa Es Su Casa! I started bringing my daughter to this class when she was just an infant, and it quickly became one of our favorite activities. The original music is very catchy and enjoyable. I was able to learn a lot of the songs fairly quickly despite having only limited Spanish language ability myself. We have the Mi Casa app and listen to their music in the car all the time.! What sets this class apart is the encouragement to sing, move our bodies, and really engage with our kids through music during each session. The in-person classes were fantastic, and when our schedule didn't allow for them, the at-home classes were a lifesaver. They even provided several props, just like the in-person class, for a seamless at-home experience. read more

My daughter and I absolutely love coming here for music classes in Spanish! These classes are highly engaging, calming, fun and developmentally appropriate. Jessy is such a great teacher and you can truly tell how much love she has for music and kids! I wish there was something like this in California! We love Mi Casa Es Tu Casa. read more

We have been taking classes with Mi Casa Es To Casa both virtually and in person since the pandemic. I will say that we were pretty much isolated up until class and attending our weekly sessions has helped both of us get back into a more social routine. My daughter requests that we play the class music in the car, we have dance parties in our living room and has really created the sweetest bonding experience. In addition to this, Laura inserts informative child development conversations in every class. She helps me remember how delicate the learning and emotional process can be for young children. She helps us learn and grow through music and dance and we will be returning for our third session this Spring. read more

This program is totally worth the cost. These are friendly people, and you can tell they enjoy their work and put a lot of themselves into it. My son and I have enjoyed going to these bilingual music classes together. I tell people they're actually trilingual because we learn signs too! I love that this class comes with an app and book of lyrics so that we can listen to this music and practice on our own time. My son loves singing and dancing together. I love it we can do this together. I love that he's around Spanish-speaking people. It really encourages me to practice my Spanish at home too. This is only our first time through the program, but I can definitely see us signing up again. This is not out of reach for someone who has zero experience with the Spanish language. read more

What I enjoyed too, is the pre recorded class videos with such lovely props and backgrounds that catches her attention immediately. She watches them over and over! I can't wait till the summer session starts. Thank you for adding more value with your parenting tips along the way. Amazing program for little ones. Our son has attended since he was 9 months old. They have an app for the music so we can listen to the music between classes. Our son loves the music and the class is so much fun. Highly recommend!!! read more

Our son started at Mi Casa es Tu Casa when he was 3 months old. Almost a year later, our family has nothing put positive experiences to share. Watching our son grow musically, cognitively, and socially with these classes has been a joy. It's incredible how in such a short time, our son has learned Spanish as well as some sign language! He enjoys dancing, singing along with the semesters' songs and is having fun learning to play instruments too! As a parent, you are bound to listen to children's music over and over and over again...well, mi casa's music is SO good, ya'll! Songs on repeat and you won't tire of them! When Covid hit our city, Mi Casa es Tu Casa, like many small businesses, had to quickly adapt. They are doing an excellent job providing online classes. One can tell just how much work and dedication they are putting into making pre recorded classes for the kids to enjoy. They bring it every live class too!! It is evident they want to keep that special connection with the children. They've also created an app, so you can take the music and lyrics with you anywhere you go. This is helpful when we are in the car and our son starts getting antsy! Laura and Ana are wonderful teachers! When we first experienced Mi Casa es Tu Casa, we quickly felt the love they have for children, teaching, and music. Our son gets so excited each time he sees their faces! They are important positive role models in his life right now so it means a lot to us having them encourage and support his development like they do. We love our Mi Casa es Tu Casa familia! read more

When I say this is the highlight of my son's week, I mean it is the HIGHLIGHT of my son's week! Not only does Oliver absolutely love this program, he is usually the center of attention--crawling around the room, greeting all the other babies, following around the instructors, and being a complete rascal. Likewise, the music associated with this program is the ONLY thing that will qwell the angry beast in the worst of emotions. We listen to the music on our app daily for practice, but specifically in the car on days filled with errands. It's as if he is hypnotized by it and listens intently each and every time. There is no question my son will grow up in this program. It is at the top of my list of priorities and budget. Choosing to attend Mi Casa Es Tu Casa will be the best decision you make for your child's social and educational development of their life. read more

Highly recommend! We started here when our baby was 4 months and he is now 21 months, he absolutely loves it! It has been a great program for every age and stage, and I think it will continue until he is at least 3. When we don't have music class, my son can't get enough of the virtual add-on classes made for kids at home. These ladies are amazing, not only musically gifted but wonderful with the children and their families. I can't say enough how wonderful this program is for you and your child. read more

Amazing atmosphere! The teacher's are amazing! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to teach they're child Spanish

We absolutely love Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! Even though my kiddo was shy in class, he raved about y'all afterwards and does sing and dance to all the songs from the Familia collection! He misses Ms. Ana when she was unable to join the class, too! He loved the extra story times with Ms. Laura and the opportunity to share a little of our home with her one time. Mi Casa Es Tu Casa truly brought light and love during such a crazy time for so many families. The music and personalization in virtual class allowed children to feel seen, important, and loved...all things needed for kids to thrive (from a previous special education teacher's perspective! ;))! We are a trilingual family (Chinese, Spanish & English) and being able to hear others speak one of the languages outside of the home was important for us. Ms. Laura is truly special. She exudes talent, warmth, and love. Her team is everything! Thank you so much for being a part of our lives. I cannot rave enough about what y'all do! read more

We can't get enough Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! My son loves the music (so do I ) and we're both learning Spanish while we sing, dance and play. Obviously things have had to pivot with coronavirus but they've done an amazing job of converting the classes to an online format. They even provide weekly on-demand videos so we can practice between classes. And the new app allows us to listen to the music whenever we want! read more

Pandemic times calls for creative measures. We were enrolled for in person class before the quarantine and had reservations about the shift virtual sessions with my two year old. As a preface, my two year old barely can watch a 20 minute show without getting up and moving on to something else. Online class seems like it would be moot but I was wrong. During class, she semi participated and other times would walk away. After class she talked about the instructors by name and at night sang songs at bedtime. She likes looking at the book of songs from class and sings along with me when we read it. She points at the book characters and names the instructors. Our infant also loves the music and rocks back and forth when she listens. All in all I'm glad we continued with class. It's truly the whole package connecting with children musically and emotionally. Thank you Mi Casa for adapting to these challenging times and being there for us! read more

My daughter started attending around 15 months and absolutely loves the class. Our nanny does Spanish at home with her so this gave our daughter the chance to further explore her Spanish. The teachers are amazing and watching the children engage is so rewarding. We listen to the app at home all the time and I'm enjoying learning Spanish as well. We've already signed up for the next round of courses! read more

Such a great treat for my kiddo - I love Mi Casa Es Tu Casa. They are so engaging with my LO and you really do learn alot for yourself as well. They teach sign language, Spanish and sensory learning all together. The classroom is very clean and colorful. My favorite accessory is the guitar. read more

We've been going to Mi Casa es tu Casa since our daughter was 6 months old (she's almost 2) and we love it. As a new parent during the pandemic, this has been a safe place to meet other parents and have socialization experiences for her. I'm so grateful for the COVID protocols that the team has used to be responsible and responsive to their community's concerns. The classes are so welcoming and Laura has created a supportive environment for music and language learning. Our daughter loves to listen to the music at home and in the car and even acts out the music class routines and movements at home. I really appreciate the app and music books that we are able to continue to use even after the sessions end! I highly recommend Mi Casa and am so grateful to be a part of their community! read more

Words cannot express the deep gratitude my family has for Mi Casa Es Tu Casa -- they are a true gift! When the world turned upside in 2020, I was a new mom trying to find creative ways to support my then-2-year-old's cognitive, emotional and social development. I thank my lucky stars that I found Mi Casa Es Tu Casa online (we live in California). Joining their weekly class has provided a nurturing, fun and safe environment in which my daughter can play, learn Spanish and socialize with other kids. Their classes are always engaging, thoughtful, well-organized -- and lively! My daughter, now almost 4 years old, continues to enjoy their online offerings. I only wish that we lived in Austin so we could join them in person now! Thank you, Mi Casa Es Tu Casa, for all that you do!!! read more

I had my daughter (first child) in February of last year and wanted to find something special to do with her during the week. I work a full time job (as does my husband) and I was jealous those responsible for our childcare got to spend more time with my little than I did. I started poking around online and stumbled across Mi Casa Es Tu Casa and I'm so glad I did! We love sneaking away during the week for some fun, singing, dancing and playing with the other kids at Mi Casa! We started going when my daughter was 10 months and I can tell she's already dancing more and is far more interested in music and rhythm. The instructors are all fantastic (we love Laura!) and I think they have as much fun as we do in these classes. They make sure to engage every child and encourage their special way of learning. We just signed up for another class during the summer to keep the fun going. I would recommend Mi Casa to any mom, grandma or aunt who wants a special experience with their little! read more

My kids and I love this music class! It's hard to find an activity that both of my children can do together and this is perfect. My children are now 2 and 4 and I've been going since they were less than 1 and 2 1/2. Also, SPANISH!! Laura is so wonderful and caring w/ the children and parents, I'm learning right along w/ my children. And I'm getting to see my oldest child not only understanding but responding to Laura IN Spanish. She creates variety and structure within each class doing upbeat, gross motor songs, then having everyone sit and use sign language for the next song. It creates balance (and rest). Try a demo class if you aren't sure. I missed one session b/c I wanted to try another activity with my kids and regretted it. read more

We started when our little one is about 6 months old. Teaching different languages at young age is developmentally very important and I find that learning them in music is a great idea. My little one at first was shy and didn't know what to do since it was totally different environment but then several sessions later he started 'butt dancing', playing musical instruments and interacting with other babies. I was really surprised to see his progress such as moving/feeling the beats with his body and vocalizing whenever we sing in the class or wherever we go! As a music educator myself, I respect how Ms. Laura teaches and interacts with the kids/babies. Even though the classes are for the babies/kids, we (parents) learned basic Spanish words as well. We will (as time permits) definitely participate again and highly recommend to others. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! We started going when my son was 12 months, he is now 26 months and music has become such an important part of his life! We have now taken classes with all 5 of the units and the music is so much better than your typical children's songs. We are growing our bilingual vocabulary (myself included), learning sign language, and feel supported in this inclusive parenting community. Laura has created an amazing child development program and brings all of her heart and joy to class. It's the highlight of our week! read more

This is the perfect mommy-and-me class. It really hits on all of the things you want out of a class with your kiddo - music, sensory activities, sign language, some movement, and Spanish. I am not a Spanish speaker, but it's not a problem. The songs in the class are super catchy and Laura has a beautiful voice, so it makes the time spent even more enjoyable. With the class, you get all of the songs and a book with the lyrics. My daughter loves listening to the songs between classes. read more

From the moment my son saw Laura at a demo--he was instantly in love! She has the ability to draw kids to her and can redirect a crowd of 10 kids at once with her amazing personality. I have tried other music classes but I feel Laura is the best at explaining how kids respond to different sounds and movements while engaging the entire room. The music changes every other class so the kids keep learning new words but there is a consistant routine so he anticipates when the instruments come out (which is his favorite time). For any mom who wants to meet othee mom's this is a great group of people. Can't wait til next session! read more

We have been extremely happy with the classes. Laura really engages the kids. She's very animated! And, the songs are really fun...even for the adults. I met Laura (the instructor) at a Bilingual event when my son was only a few months old; he was so drawn to her, she captivated his attention during her demo. I knew whatever she was teaching he'd learn, so I signed up for the Spanish Music classes when my son was only a few months old. Now we are in our third session with Laura and my son just turned a year old. My son not only now has an ear for music, he also is understanding Spanish!! Mi Casa Es Tu Casa is definitely worth the investment! read more

I have so many wonderful things to say about Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! First of all, our teacher, Laura, is THE BEST! You can tell that she has a passion for music, language and little ones, and that she loves her job. She really knows how to engage babies and moms and help them to have fun while learning. She is very knowledgeable about little ones in general, which is a plus. My baby is only 8 months old, and is already mimicking sounds from class! The fact that Laura has an amazing voice is just icing on the cake! The Mi Casa Es Tu Casa space at Mueller is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Laura uses lots of musical instruments, props, posters, etc. The number of people per class is limited, which keeps class sizes on the small side...so she is able to encourage participation and give attention to everyone. The take home materials provided are EXCELLENT! The book with the songs in it and the CD are helpful for practicing at home. (The songs are lovely and the book has super cute illustrations.) I definitely recommend taking the MamaCanta class at Mi Casa Es Tu Casa! My baby has a great time in class, and so do I! I plan to continue taking classes here until my little one outgrows them. read more

We have been taking our son to Mi Casa since he was 3 months old. Laura is fabulous and we look forward to it every week. Not only is the class fun but it's great to learn about how I can encourage his understanding of music theory and development. It was also fun because she teaches sign language and our son loves it when we do it. Laura genuinely cares and pays attention to the personalities and development of every child in her class. She's also very organized and her studio was very cute and clean. read more
