Breaded steak torta.

The food is AMAZING, everything is super authentic and cooked fresh on the spot. The service is great, such nice people. The restaurant is small, there's only a few tables, but so clean and nicely decorated. Nice big and clear menu. We love this place and will continue coming often!

Not much from the outside but welcoming inside with the employees. The menu is very aesthetically pleasing by whosever handwriting is on it. I'd say the prices were really good for what you were getting. We got 4 steak tacos with cilantro onion and avocado and one with cheese. They were super full and flacorbale. The green salsa was my favorite to add on. The chips and salsa were very good as well. I got a horchata with my meal and it was well balanced out. I will be back!

Wow. Just wow. That's all you need to know. Just go here. Avoid the tamale puerco, *bland and not much filling, the others may be better. I don't know.* But!!! The tacos trifecta (Asada, Al Pastor, & Carnitas) were amazing! 20/10, and the complimentary chips and salsa were also very tasty, good amount of crunch and citrus to the chips and the salsa. Delicious. Seriously, go. You won't regret it!

Steak burrito

Ordered the steak burrito, and as you can see from the picture, there was barely any in there for $9.69! Could barely tasted the meat with all the salad filler, and beans.

Small joint with about 5 tables. Friendly and helpful staff. Like that the salsa was think and guac was not over-oniony. They soak their onions in lemon juice for a couple days before it is added to the guac. Ingenious!! I had the Chilaquiles Verdes with chorizo....Delicious, green salsa has a little kick but not to much. My gf had the enchiladas, 2 chicken 1 beef. I really liked their chicken, tender with a nice red marinade.

This is my first time at this location. We stopped at this around 7pm to order to go. The restaurant was in average size. I think most people do carry out. It was cleaned and organized. There were about 4-5 tables inside. There was no paper menu. Everything was on the big board. I got steak aka Mexicana. It was fresh and delicious. The steak was moist, tender and tasty. Fried beans and and rice were yummy. I would definitely come back in the future.

Does anyone else find they don't follow their posted hours? I love this place but on three separate occasions I've tried calling in or going to the location and they're closed...

Hey Bailey, I'd like to update everyone that the times posted are now the times they stay. The workers even stay late sometimes if you call before closing time. The restaurant is under new management and the food has stayed the same and every… Read more

Multiple TVs, mounted above order counter, are playing with sound and captions off. Chips and a very mild salsa kicked off our in-house experience. Flavors were unique (for example their salsa verde was cream or mayo based). Ordered their $18 namesake burrito with steak and it was two meals. Waitress brought me chicken instead. Meat was tender and well seasoned. I didn't enjoy the refried beans. The rice had a good sprinkling of peas. Guacamole, sour cream and diced tomatoes were striped across shredded iceberg lettuce. Tall red tumbler of Horchata $4. Will return to try other menu offerings. Look for their daily specials and their daylong lunch offerings!

I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. They offered free chips and salsa, and also had lunch specials which is always good. The girl at the front had us sit down and brought us menus and the chips and salsa. Steak in the tacos/burritos was tasty although a little dry (which i chalk up to coming after the lunch period at 130p). I really want to come back earlier in the day while everything is fresher! But that being said was happy with the food and it was reasonably priced and the serving sizes were very good. The place had a good flow to it with your standard pictures and seating (chairs vs booths which is another plus). I definitely plan on coming back next time I am in the area.

I was greeted immediately and enjoyed the ambience. A bit old, but still nice. It even looked like they had an windowed view spot where we could see....what... the tortillas, maybe, being made? A good sign. I was sat in a very lonely spot, at the far backside of the restaurant on the only 2-person table I saw. Oh, wonderful. It appeared the table hadn't been completely wiped clean, so I asked a busboy to wipe it down - he very promptly complied- nice. Ok- as the menus came, so did the tortilla chips and homemade salsa- wow. The chips were THICK and the sauce was really good- albeit a bit spicy (not a crime!). The waitress came over, introduced herself, and I promptly ordered their special drink- the "Mexican Mai-Tai". Gotta say it was good! I ordered off their special menu- enchiladas tomatillo with pollo (chicken). I swear, less than 2 minutes later came a small bowl of soup (not expected, but ok) - then less than 5 minutes after ordering the main? Came the main! The beans and rice were nice; it came with a bit of shredded lettuce- and the 3 enchiladas were not bad. At all. Definitely satisfied my craving for Mexican food! Why the demerits? The holy grail of any restaurant is always the service. Once I completed the mains, the busboy quickly took the dishes off the table. And then I waited. And waited. I flagged down a busboy and asked for my check- he said he'd flag down my waitress. And then I waited. After 15 minutes, I bagged it. I put on my jacket and went to the host desk and complained. Though I was able to pay at the front desk, why did I have to wait? What was so important on a not-so-busy Saturday night that meant I had to wait for my bill? Just awful, La Hacienda. I don't mind waiting a few minutes (most restaurants have this awful habit of making diners wait too long for their bills anyway, right?). But 15 minutes? And even after I pointed this out I still waited to no avail? No diner should ever be asked to wait until they "got around to it". Would I come again? Naw. Sorry, but even though the early part of the meal was great and I was speed-served the food? The finish killed it for me.
