Now lets talk about the Food, simply delicious my husband got the stake, I wasn't super hungry so I opted for a chicken quesadilla the boys got tacos said they were "the best" my husband said his stake was the best he's ever had in a Mexican restaurant he loved the juiciness and the flavor it was cooked perfectly how he asked i had a bite and yesss Tender juicy flavorful. They are under new management and the prices have gone through the roof. I ordered 2 steak burritos with sour cream and it cost me $28! When I got them home and we were eating, there was very little meat in the burrito. This has been our go to place for 10 years but it's not worth it anymore. read more

Not much from the outside but welcoming inside with the employees. The menu is very aesthetically pleasing by whosever handwriting is on it. I'd say the prices were really good for what you were getting. We got 4 steak tacos with cilantro onion and avocado and one with cheese. They were super full and flacorbale. Small dine in place with 4 tables. It was very clean and you have to place an order at the registry. Menu is simple to read and on the wall so don't expect a table menu. Chips and Salsa on the table as you wait. Overall the food was good. I got tacos with different type of meats including barbacoa, steak and alpastor. Not a huge fan of their barbacoa- it seemed dry. The alpastor wasn't seasoned well in my opinion. Steak was delicious. They have el milagro corn tortilla which here in this state is a HUGE plus! Bookmarked for quite some time now, I'm never in this area much so a good bookmark check off is always nice when I swing by. Heading to Mario Triccoci they're bear them and worked out well, until the onions lingered for hours on my hands/breath LOL.... I ordered 3 Loma (ribeye) tacos w/lettuce/onion/cilantro/tomatoes & everything was prepared freshly and served to me hot! The cashier was very friendly and they weren't stingy with the salsa at all. My steak meat wasn't grade A it was more of a B grade, but if cooked longer and not served the color gray it would've been reminiscent of a Raymond's taco. read more

There were about 4-5 tables inside. There was no paper menu. Everything was on the big board. I got steak aka Mexicana. It was fresh and delicious. The steak was moist, tender and tasty. Small joint with about 5 tables. Friendly and helpful staff. Like that the salsa was think and guac was not over-oniony. They soak their onions in lemon juice for a couple days before it is added to the guac. Ingenious!! I had the Chilaquiles Verdes with chorizo....Delicious, green salsa has a little kick but not to much. My gf had the enchiladas, 2 chicken 1 beef. I've been visiting many Mexican restaurants in the past and they were typically the same taste (salt, sour and spicy). This restaurant was very small and no more than 10 people can dine in at same time. However, the owner keep the tables clean, no sticky spots, no food smell at all. Most of their customers were caried out or delivery. The price was reasonable compared with other restaurants. I will come back to try their other item near future. read more

I came in to get tacos to go. The owner was very friendly. It took a few minutes for my food but that was because they were making it fresh, which I appreciated. He gave me chips and salsa while I was waiting which was nice! For 3 tacos with cheese (.35 extra per taco) it was about $9, which is a little steep but not unfair either. The tacos were loaded with meat and there was not a lot of fatty pieces of meat! So I definitely think it was worth the price for how much meat you get and the quality. I liked the chicken a lot better than the carnitas. The carnitas just had a darker flavor but it was still good. I will definitely be back, a great to go option! They only have one or two tables so it's more of a to-go type of place. read more

It's tucked back in a strip mall off of bloomingdale road, next to DQ. Called in an order of Chilli Relleno with beans and rice, chicken enchiladas and guacamole. The rice and beans were fantastic!!! Rice was light and fluffy! The beans were such a great texture with just enough cheese sprinkled in and full of flavor. The chilli rellenos exact words : AMAZING and the cheese in them, perfect amount! Taco maya who? Lol I got the chicken enchiladas which were delicious BUT I ended up getting their mole sauce on the side TO DIE FOR!!!! I ended up dipping my enchiladas in the mole.. Yes! My new go to Mexican joint around the corner from my house! Came here off the reviews (thanks Yelp!). Boy I tell you, all the other 5 star review don't lie. This is THE SPOT. I like the "traditional" ambiance in here and the place is really clean. The owner was really friendly. They give you some complementary chips and homemade salsa if you dine in; salsa is really good. I got the chicken Quesadilla dinner. It was amazing. The chicken was seasoned well and the huge tortilla was filling. My wife got the enchilada dinner which was also really good. After searching for the best Burrito in town, this is where my wife and I have settled. We've been going here frequently for a couple years now. The staff is extremely polite, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is impeccable. We've never had a bad meal here.
