Their food is still delicious. Their menu has gotten a little bit bigger with the addition of some more seafood dishes. I specifically came back to update my review because their shrimp tacos are so good. The shrimp is deep fried and it's 2 shrimp per taco, topped with a corn-based salsa (?) and chipotle aioli. For our very first visit we tried the Pollo estilo "Mi Casa" tacos and the (huge) steak burrito. Both were authentic and delicious. Bonus: the red sauce really spiced things up! We look forward to trying many more items. It's wonderful to have a place so close to home. The food at Mi Casa is excellent, and the owner is awesome, providing us with chips and salsa while we waited for takeout. You see the food being prepared fresh and the ingredients are delicious. The reason I keep this from a 5-star review is mainly due to the high cost of choosing extra ingredients. The tacos are made with cilantro and onions standard. If you would like cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, etc for American style, you end up paying about a dollar more per taco, bringing the cost to about $3.50 per taco with no sides. At other authentic Mexican restaurants, you are given a choice without any additional cost. Will I return? Absolutely! But I can't afford to make this a regular choice when I crave Mexican food. read more

As mentioned before, the owner is very friendly and very accommodating if you want to make any substitutions. Was next door getting Blizzards at Dairy Queen when I noticed this place. Looked up the reviews here on Yelp and new we'd have to try it. Their cheese enchiladas with green sauce are very good but it irked me that they only way to get them was by ordering the $11.99 dinner. Since I don't care for refried beans and could do without the rice it's like I paid $4 per enchilada. So even though the food was good and the guy who took care of us was very nice I can't say we'd go there again unless they start offering the enchiladas ala carte. read more
