The rear covers did not fit my vehicle. The photos in this review show the first failed attempt. When I called customer service, the first rep, Ryan, was dismissive and acted like I owed him an explanation for a problem he didn't even take the time to understand. The second rep, Pablo, was the opposite--helpful, respectful, and actually listened. They sent me a replacement rear set, but I still had to buy a center punch and new drill bits to re-work the parts just to make them usable. After getting them to fit, I even provided them the exact measurements for the corrections they should make. All I got in return was a "thanks, have a good day." No rebate, no discount, nothing. A few days later they ran a 20% site-wide sale for new customers, so I ended up paying full price plus the extra cost of tools just to fix their engineering mistakes. BEWARE - SCAM I purchased the MGP Calipers for my 2018 Lincoln Continental - based on the information on the website of what covers would fit. Recieved and took them to a certified installer the next day. The installer took ONE caliper out, tried to install and said they do not fit. I returned them to MGP. MGP accepted the return but would not refund my money saying that they were "used". ONE of the 4 items was taken out of its original plastic. It was not used, it was not damaged. I demanded a return. They stopped communicating. I am sure those exact calipers are being resold now, and I am out my money. Their return policy is an absolute SCAM. If you purchase, be 100% sure they can be installed BEFORE you get them. How you do that, I am not sure as their specs say they should fit, but they don't. read more

I was hopeful despite reading a few concerning reviews. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed many of those negative sentiments. When I received the caliper covers, I quickly discovered the front covers were significantly oversized--at least 4-5 inches too big. I reached out immediately and, to their credit, MGP responded quickly. After review, they confirmed that I had entered my information correctly, but claimed their VIN decoder didn't provide the full brake package details. They speculated I might have a sports package (which I don't), and requested that I confirm details with my dealer--something I feel they should be able to determine as the manufacturer. My dealer verified I had a standard brake package. MGP offered a partial refund (RMA) for the front covers and said I could come into their facility--30 minutes away--to get my brakes sized in person. They told me it would take about four hours and possibly another month for production. Given that I had already installed the rears (and waited nearly a month already), I reluctantly agreed. Then, I found out my year-round job started on the same day as the appointment, so I had to postpone. The next available time for me would be another month out, meaning a full two months or more from the original order to possibly get the right front covers. That's when I took a closer look at the rear covers. I realized they didn't fit well either--some of the original caliper still showed, and the product, overall, looked tacky. The supposed "powder coating" chipped easily, which is disappointing for a product that costs over $200. I requested a full return, but MGP denied it, saying they allowed me to keep the rear covers "in good faith" and that I was only allowed one RMA. This felt unfair, considering their sizing error and the fact that I was expected to go significantly out of my way to fix their mistake. All in all, I spent nearly $500 on a product I won't even use. The company's solution felt more like damage control than genuine customer service. I question how they handle customers who don't live within driving distance--because their only solution is to bring your car to them and wait hours. I truly regret this purchase and wish I had listened to the negative reviews. If MGP had delivered a properly sized, quality product, I wouldn't be writing this review. I ordered and paid for a set of custom caliper covers for my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. In December of 2024. When I received them I went to an MGP recommended installer and discovered that the clips for the rear covers were incorrect for my car and couldn't be installed. I contacted MGP via email to their "Tech" department and they sent me new clips that were still incorrect. I then sent a pic and video describing the problem and requested that they design a proper clip for my rear caliper covers. MGP then created a case #149602 on 1/16/25 and stated they would get back to me. They didn't. I then sent a second request and MGP created another case #151803 on 1/28/25 with the same reply of "it may take 1-2 business days for one of our team members to reply". It is now 3/21/25 and I have never been contacted by a team member. I phoned their business number and via the phone tree I was redirected to their email that I've already used multiple times without a resolution. I'm frustrated with being ghosted by MGP. Keep in mind, each vehicle we ordered these for were at least 1-2 years old (as far as the manufactured year) at the time of order. Well, I just bought a 2025 vehicle off the lot beginning of February. As a satisfied customer, I naturally came back to MGP with intent to order covers for my new vehicle. At that time, their website did not offer any options for a 2025, so I waited. Checked again a few months later and still nothing. But, as of a few weeks ago it was finally added into their system. I followed all the drop down selections, prompts and instructions to ensure I was ordering the correct covers (never made a mistake before). Apparently, several options I was unaware of at the time weren't added in their system yet and that will throw you off. Another thing is the drop down options for the rotors were inaccurate on their end and also changed or dissappeared in a matter of weeks on their site. If you have a new model vehicle it's safer not to order! They're still figuring details out on the vehicles, changing information and selections as they go, and missing some essential selection options which will, in turn, leave you with the wrong covers. And you know they hit you with the fact they're custom made so there's no chance you're going to get your money back or return them. Oh, but they can give you 25% off on your next order assuming they even have all their facts right and all the selections in their system to allow you a chance to accurately order. Long story short, they will not work with you or take responsibility for any errors or lack of details on their end. Here's the thing... if they know they're still finding and adding information into their system for a vehicle then they should have in all of the drop down selections an option that says "I'm not sure", or "I don't know". That could then prompt you with a notification or alert to please contact them with your VIN or to get more information. Basically, they want to help make sure you're ordering the right covers and not misleading you. If I had known that my exact vehicle and every single detail about it was not yet in their system as an option to order the correct caliper covers, then I wouldn't have. But, i followed all the instructions and made the right selections that they had as an option. So, to the best of my knowledge I was ordering the correct covers. The fact that some of those options I was provided or forced to click had changed or disappeared 2 weeks later just shows they don't have it together, and they're still trying to get it together. Basically, for a brand new vehicle they're learning as they go. How do they learn? Trial and error. How do they know they made an error? After you notfiy them that some of the vehicle options are missing. Who takes responsibility for that error? Not them! You just helped them out by notifying them that the covers don't fit and unmasking an important piece of information that they still didn't have, or know. Thanks to you, they can now look into that and update it in their system for future orders. But, they won't help make it right for you. My advice, just don't do it! read more

Well, I wish I had read these reviews before buying covers. Now I've started down the road of trying to get a refund. I've had the covers for 2 weeks, and 1 1/2 weeks have been sucked up with emails back and forth. The "technician" wanted a bunch of pictures, which I provided; then he wanted another one. He said I ordred the right part, got the "right" part, but he wanted to know where the cover was rubbing, and wanted ANOTHER picture. Just delaying the inevitiable. My next email will not be as courteous; I'm asking for a refund and a pre-paid return label. I'll send the covers back as soon as my credit card is credited. Placed my order for a custom color set of 4 MGP caliper covers for my Corvette. Order was $395 with free shipping. Order arrived two weeks later and I started the installation and immediately found the front mounting clips were too small for my brake calipers. Submitted a Help Ticket on their web page and waited. I bought these special ordered Caliper covers for my Yukon Denali. When they arrived the rear cover predrilled holes for the clip were about 3/4 inward which did not line up to the threaded stud on the clip. No big deal, I just drilled my own holes on the arm and they fit perfect. The front installed went well . They were nicely stug up against the front Calipers and attached to the clip easily. I rotated the tires and there was a very slight noise almost unnoticeable. Once I got on the freeway speeds, it rub like he'll. Especially the driver side. You thought the front brake pads were grinding into the Rotors. I came back home to inspect it (10 miles) total to my house. The passenger side had a slight rubbing issue (photos) but the driver side was grind to hell as well as the inside of my wheel. I call ed the so call EXPERT technician and explained all this to him (Daniel) and he suggested putting spacers on the front wheel but it was a little bit late for that. Then he suggested sending photos of the damaged covers. I did as told and two weeks later I called to follow up. I spoke to another so called EXPERT TECHNICIAN (Ceasar) who I suggested to their customer service should be fired for the worst customer service and attitude. As I was explaining all this to him the only thing he kept emphasizing was that he's and expert technician and he knows what he's talking about. As I tried to tell that I've installed quite a few of these on several cars of mind and families, that I think I'm qualified and knowledgeable on installing them. When I told him is it possible that it was a manufacturer defective product since the back one's were also incorrect again all he kept saying I'm an expert technician and I've done 100's of them. Needless to say, we got nowhere other than I know he's an EXPERT TECHNICIAN. So I got angry and said a few choice words and he said I'm denying your warranty and hung up. So, I'll be seeking legal advice since he refused to provide me their business license so I can thoroughly file a complaint with the BBB and chamber of commerce etc. STAY AWAY. Just finished small claims with these guys. Basically, on a 2016 Cadillac SRX they sold me products did not fit. They made me spend $250 at the dealer before they admitted it did not work and refunded my money. They took no responsibility nor give a credit. Received caliper covers for a 2019 Mustang that would not fit properly without hitting the wheel. Customer Service said that special spacers need to be added so that damage is not caused to the wheels when new covers are installed. Told them I did not want to add spacers to the manufacturers designed wheels and requested a refund. They are refusing to allow a return. It is within the 30 days and their website clearly says that they accept returns and did not notify me that spacers are needed when the caliper covers were ordered. read more

I always read reviews before I purchase a product. I read mostly positive reviews on this product, but there is always some negative ones that make me think twice. My experience with this company has been a good one! I purchased this product for my new 2021 dodge challenger. Yellow brake covers with the challenger logo on them! When I got them I was eager to put them on so I got right to it. I did not read the instructions, I just went off YouTube videos. Side note, I should always read the instructions. Needless to say I over tightened the screw on the front break cover which made that part useless. After doing this I read the instructions that said do not over tighten. Frustrated with myself I called MGP Caliper cover located here in San Diego. I knew it was my fault so I expected I would have to pay some money for a new cover. To my SHOCK he told me I could come to the shop and not only would they fix it but they would install them free of charge! He scheduled an appointment and I showed up. They fixed my brake cover and installed them free of charge as promised! They look great! I have no doubt that if any issues pop up they will help me out! I ordered a set of caliper covers they said it would be one to two day FedEx shipping I received my order over two and a half weeks later when I tried to put the calipers on at my auto shop they didn't fit in the front they kept rubbing so I messaged and they told me to try to squeeze together the clips which I did but they still kept rubbing and then finally I contacted them and they said well where was your car made I'm like I don't know and they said well look at your VIN number it's the second digit I said it says m well your car was made in Mexico and we sent you Japanese covers. I said okay that's not my fault the form I filled out had a box that said VIN number optional and then after I got the calipers and talk to the person that told me it was my fault I got online and look and by God they had a new website that had the manufacturers of the car listed this is a crooked company I would highly not recommend using them the covers are cheap and they don't stand behind their product. read more

What terrible customer service. I ordered a "custom" set of covers that were supposed to be plain black with only one of the 4 having any type of decal/engraving on it. I included very detailed notes in the order AND confirmed what I wanted with a customer service rep and they STILL sent me the wrong covers, weeks after they were supposed to be delivered. The back calipers fit great and went on easy, the front calipers were a little more challenging and do not cover the calipers as much as I would like. Overall, the customer service was really great. My truck is a new F150 with the Tremor trim package. This trim package was not listed on their site, so I had some concern the covers would fit. There was also a color I was trying to match, so I made note of both on the online order form. I was contacted by a customer service rep who really went out of their way to help ensure the covers would fit and that I would be happy with the color. I would have given 5 stars, but I feel like the paint on the covers was thinner toward the edges, not really noticeable unless you're up close. IMO, the price seems reasonable, however I would have expected a little better quality on the paint given the price. read more
