Really appreciated his patience and full transparency. Mikey, Manny and I discussed all the options with pricing beforehand. Having people who care so much is amazing. The quality of their work is outstanding.

1-Star Review…read more Extremely disappointing experience -- think twice before working here or trusting this shop with your vehicle. I'm writing this as a former employee who genuinely came to this shop ready to work hard and do my job. I'm a husband and father who was working to provide for my family, and I always tried to keep God first, treat people with respect, and give customers the best service I could. I showed up early, worked hard, and made sure customers were getting in and out. I wasn't hired to be somebody's personal helper or to simply agree with everything another employee said. I was hired as a mechanic, and I take pride in my work. Unfortunately, one employee, Manny, seemed to have an issue with me from the beginning. I felt like I was constantly being treated disrespectfully and expected to act like a yes-man instead of being allowed to do my job as a technician. If I disagreed with something or had a different opinion, it wasn't welcomed. What really disappointed me was management's response. Rather than hearing both sides and recognizing the work I was doing, my boss chose to take Manny's side and let me go. I actually have the text messages from my former boss confirming that Manny told him I wasn't right for what he was looking for and that he was letting me go. That's what makes this experience so frustrating. I wasn't fired because I didn't want to work. I was working. I wasn't fired because I didn't care about customers. I cared about them. I was fired because I wasn't willing to let another employee push me around or treat me like a dog. As far as my experience with Manny as a technician, I also witnessed things that concerned me. There were situations where sensors were unplugged and parts were being changed without what I considered proper diagnosis first. In my opinion, that's how customers end up paying for parts they may not have needed. A good mechanic should diagnose the problem, test the system, and then replace what's actually defective--not just throw parts at a problem. Manny also seemed unwilling to listen to another technician's opinion. Everything had to be done his way, and shortcuts seemed more important than proper diagnosis. I know the mechanic I am. I know how hard I worked. And I know the way I treated customers. Losing this job isn't what bothers me most. What bothers me is seeing a hardworking husband and father who was trying to provide for his family get thrown away because management would rather keep one employee happy than recognize another employee's hard work. I wish the owner and the shop the best, but my experience taught me that being a hardworking, respectful employee doesn't mean much if management has already chosen sides. Customers deserve proper diagnosis. Employees deserve respect. And neither should have to kiss anyone's ass to get it. 1/5 -- I would not recommend working here based on my experience, and I personally would think twice before trusting my vehicle to a shop where this is how things are handled.

These morons over-torqued my tire by double the ft lbs over 150 ft lbs! When the manufacturer…read morerecommends 74 ftlbs for my car. I maxxed out my torque wrench trying to hit the amount they torqued it down. Not only is that potentially damaging to my rotors I got injured removing it. I had to jump with all my weight on a 25 inch breaker bar and still wasn't budging. I eventually got them. But I'm not sure if I damaged my impact wrench. If you were stranded on the road 99% of people would never be able to remove a tire without professional help after bringing your car here. Never again. Also they quoted us nearly $2k for a job that we ended up getting done for $900. Edit to add: Just to address the owner's response- I never said a service date, so not sure how he's trying to "verify" anything. It happened. They were the last shop to service the car and it was only that tire they fixed, and that tire that was nearly impossible to remove. Whoever put it back on was probably being lazy that day and used an air impact gun. Don't try to fool the yelp community because now you just look worse in my eyes (and I'm sure others are smart enough to understand you're making excuses to try to discredit me). An apology, and a genuine offer to reimburse me for the service rendered would get you a lot further.

I would first like to thank Joe Ancona (Freeport Store Manager) for a job we'll done and some of…read morethe best customer service I have ever received! I originally went to Goodyear for a vehicle inspection knowing that the Goodyear tires on our Jeep Liberty were the original tires and would need replacement if not that day, in the very near future. The technician assigned to our vehicle preformed a very thorough inspection and in addition to our vehicle needing tires, he advised that the brakes were worn and needed replacement to make the vehicle once again safe to drive. I also worked with Kevin Farley (Assistant store manager) regarding the work needing to be done and the pricing who also was very professional and friendly. Prior to any work being done, Kevin, Joe & I visually inspected my vehicle together and it was obvious that the tires and brake pads/rotors needed to be changed immediately! As you would suspect this was not going to be an inexpensive repair but I felt after a little friendly negotiation I received a fair deal and authorized the work be done. Like everyone else I too would like to make the best (cheapest) deal but parts and labor do cost money and like any business they are in it to make a profit. After replacing the brakes/rotors and mounting the rims with new tires, one of the wheel-locks shattered as they were placing the rims back on the car leaving a portion of the lock on the stud:-( The portion left was within the recessed area of the lug nut hole and was a BIG issue since it was unaccessible. The Goodyear technician worked very hard trying to remove this broken piece without damaging my alloy wheel or the stud but without success. After hours of trying that day (and the following day) they finally needed to use a torch to remove the broken piece on the stud which damaged the rim and hub stud badly. Since our vehicle was there again the following day without my presence, Joe Ancona kept me updated by telephone which was greatly appreciated. My first concern was to have the car repaired but in the back of my mind I was concerned about who would be paying for this repair and discussed it with Joe. Joe advised me that this was not a good situation for his shop but his #1 priority was that our vehicle was repaired correctly so we would continue to be "Goodyear Satisfied customers" and he would do whatever needed to satisfy us. Later that day I received a call from Joe and he advised that the repair was done and to please come down and pick up the vehicle. When I picked up the vehicle, it was completely repaired with a new rim (YES...A NEW RIM), new hub stud and new lug nuts with a total due for the wheel lock repair reading $0.00. We all know that every business has negative issues but most reviews normally only address the negatives and not positive ones like this so felt it was my responsibility to post this positive review. I would once again like to commend Joe Ancona and Kevin for their great customer service and their responsibility to protect the great reputation of the Goodyear Tire Company. Thank you Joe & Kevin!

I called them and they said if I could leave it they'd take care of me on the holiday. I did go online and reserve tires and an appointment just incase. I dropped it off at 9am, Janice was very helpful and gave me a great price. I decided to change all 4 tires and get an alignment because I was due anyway for new ones. My van was done by noon , picked it up and went on my way. Great fast service , tires feel nice and so glad they were open on a holiday.
