Not for Czechs
Hotel restaurants are a league of their own with its good and bad sides.
Mezzo restaurant serves Panorama hotel guests and if locals come here, the waitress got so confused that it took some time before she started speaking fluent Czech to us. The atmosphere and the ambiance is not bad but nothing to write home about either.
We liked the lemonade and the great Moravian wine from Spielberg Winery. The desserts and appetizers were both excellent.
The main course was nothing special really and we are talking Norwegian Salmon fillet and Fillet Mignon steak. I did not even get a steak knife and the tough meat really deserved it.
I would use the restaurant if staying in the hotel but it is not worth a detour. Who wants to pay 5 EUR for a beer which costs maximum 2 EUR everywhere else?
The service was good and friendly, I must admit. read more
