We traveled from Missouri to New York to purchase an RV from Meyer's RV and trusted the promises made during the sales process. Unfortunately, our experience after the sale was marked by repeated delays, unfulfilled commitments, and poor follow-through. Among our concerns were a promised reimbursement check that required repeated requests, questions regarding paid-for protection services, registration-related issues, and a general lack of urgency in resolving customer concerns after the contract was signed. The difference between a good dealership and a bad one is not whether problems arise--it's how they respond when they do. In our case, we felt valued while purchasing the RV but largely ignored afterward. We have maintained documentation of our communications and would strongly encourage prospective buyers to carefully review all paperwork, verify every promised service, and obtain written confirmation of anything discussed verbally. We purchased Arcadia BHL Select with extended warranty and protective coating, first of all we don't believe the coating was ever done the first time, so we returned it for that and some other problems, trim falling off wheel, covers peeling, floor wrinkling. The new service guy did all repairs, after having to leave it there for 4 months. Now just sitting in the driveway all the outside trim has buckled and falling out, I guess this is not covered after a 1 year from being new. I guess for a $28.00 roll of trim they lost a customer and will definitely never recommend anyone to purchase a camper, a tent has less maintenance and is a lot cheaper. do yourself a favor and don't ever buy anything from these crooks! we purchased a 70,000 plus toy hauler from them. before we were even able to pick it up one of their employees smashed into it. they did a half a$$ job 'fixing it'. everything that was damaged looked like a 4 year old fixed it. multiple 4 hour drives only for it to not be fixed correctly. bedroom slide supposedly fixed...NOPE! they claim yes.. they lied! call them, they agreed to fix free of charge(after a long debate). bring it there, once they determined what is needed to actually fix the problem THEY CAUSED BY HITTING IT, now they claim 'we waited too long to bring it in'?! every single person there is a liar and 10x worse than any sleazy car salesman. guess it's time to get my lawyer involved read more

I gave a 3 because I got the camper I wanted... after picking one I watched many videos. I picked one they didnt have in stock at the Mt Morris pa location. Ill spare the long story by saying pay close attention before handing your over. They have a walk thru inspection which in my opinion you should tell the person that I inspect and ask questions and you answer before I sign. Folks this is the laziest group selling a product that I ever experienced in 56 years on this earth. They have a bootloader of legal papers for you to sign. Bottom line, if you can help it, dont buy from this place. They got 10k for their service. Which is shit. read more

"WARNING !!!!!DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUSINESS" This was absolutely the worst purchase experience of my life. We bought an RV sight unseen due to our distance. We were told other people were looking at the vehicle and the RV was in excellent shape and ready to leave the lot. We went forward with making the down payment and doing all the paperwork. Once paperwork was signed and we on way to get vehicle, we were told that the brake light was on and would not go off. The RV went from shop to shop and about ten days later it was allegedly fixed. I wanted to cancel the contract because they promise a 100% ready vehicle with no issues. We were not afforded a video walk through...I now know why..found out that the engine light was on as well. These folks were very cocky and arrogant. They would not let me out the contract knowing full well the mislead us. I paid for a vehicle that spent the first 10 days in a shop. Please don't do business here. I had many promises that were broken and furthermore plain dishonesty. We were old that they don't inspect the vehicle until it is purchase. We were charged $1800 for the 49 point inspection and never received any paperwork. They allegedly coated the RV for $2800.00 and again has not and will provide the paperwork to show it was done. I abosolutely believe it was never done because the RV was in a repair shop. When asked for the inspection form, I was emailed a blank inspection form. The salespeople have no morals and only care about getting the paperwork signed. I finally got the RV delivered to me and within 1 day...the engine comes on. Once again, these are issues that the dealer was well aware of and failed to say anything. I tried many times to get my money back and even called the bank but was told it was up to the dealer to cancel. I would put specific names, but it would not matter because they all cover down on this misleading sales practice. So much more to say about this adventure. Bottom line is please do not trust anyone at this location or business. Do not purchase anything here...they will not keep their word and will flat out lie to you while insulting your common sense and intelligence. read more

We just too delivery of our new camping trailer. It was a long-distance transaction since we live 3 hours away - but they had just the trailer we were looking for at a great price. This is our second trailer and I must say that this buying experience was light years better than the first! From our salesman Alex who gave us a Facetime tour of the unit in the freezing cold to the maintenance crew that had to change a tire on the trailer with no notice - they went out of their way to help. I was most impressed by the organization - when we arrived they were totally ready for us and we started the orientation right away - no standing around waiting. And when a soft tire on the trailer was found to have a screw in it, they changed the tire immediately and sent us on our way! I would totally buy from them again - even with the three hour drive - they are SO much better than any dealer locally. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! I purchased a Class A in January. Was given a very screwed up upsell for warranty. I agreed at first but canceled when I went to pick up the vehicle. After many, many calls, emails and going to the store to sign the cancellation paperwork again, I still haven't gotten a complete refund 9 months later. If I could not put no star, I would. I went in on Saturday, the salesman was very nice. By late Saturday afternoon, I was doing the paperwork to purchase an RV. Driving home, 270 miles, I experienced engine and Transmission problems, still owing on that truck and very high repair bills or new truck payment to come. I called at opening of the store Monday morning, nothing had gone to the bank as of yet, begged and pleaded with them to cancel the contract, even offered to let them keep the deposit. The papers had not gone to the bank and they still had the RV. They would NOT. They DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. They like to tote that they're a family owned business, they care, blah, blah, blah...and it's just that, BS, I begged them to stop the loan as I didn't want to be Financially devastated , they REFUSED. They could easily have done that, kept the deposit and resold the RV but they simply DON'T CARE. Awful, just awful!! Hopefully an attorney can do something :( read more

My wife and I attended last year's RV show in Hershey. After looking at dozens of models we happened across an Alta 1900MMK in the Meyers RV Superstore exhibit. Alex Morich, the Meyers salesman, was very helpful in explaining the features of this particular model. We expressed interest in purchasing the unit, and were then introduced to Jamie from Finance who presented a proposed bill of sale. I handed him my credit card for the requested $5,000 cash deposit. He came back, smiled, and said Oh by the way I charged $7,500 to your card instead. (I never authorized that amount.). The next morning I telephoned both Alex and Jamie and informed them that we were canceling the purchase. Jamie told me he would talk to his colleagues and get back to me. He never told me that he was not going to accept the cancelation, and he never called back. Just in case, I called my credit card company in order to put a stop on the credit card transaction. They told me that the transaction was still being processed and that I had to wait until it posted before I could challenge it. Three days later my credit card was debited $7,500. I called Jamie and reminded him that I had canceled the purchase less than 24 hrs after he scanned my card. He said that he was not in the business of cancelling deals. He refused to credit me back my deposit. I reminded Jamie it clearly states on Meyers' bill of sale that the sale is not binding until Meyers has presented the customer with the details of the financing arrangement and that the customer has accepted those terms. Meyers had not (and still has not) presented me with any financing terms. I certainly did not see, nor sign, any financing paperwork. I explained to Jamie that the contract that we signed clearly states that I can cancel the purchase and am due a full refund of my deposit prior to signing a financing agreement. He replied the Meyers would "be harmed" by my cancelation. He refused to refund my money and "wished me well". I then went to the Better Business Bureau website and filed a complaint against Meyers with the BBB. Currently there are 24 complaints against Meyers from 2020-2022. Two of these are listed as being "Resolved", and 22 of them are marked as "Unanswered". One of those "Unanswered" complaints is mine. It's no wonder that Meyers is not BBB accredited. They show no interest in addressing customer complaints. I should have checked their business reputation earlier. I then thought that maybe the very top management of Meyers would indeed care about their customers and their reputation. So I wrote to the General Manager of Meyers RV Superstore and included the details of my interaction with his staff, plus copies of all relevant documents, and requested that Meyers comply with the terms of their contract and refund my deposit. I guess I was not surprised when I received no response from top management. Following no response to my letter, I then presented the information regarding my dealings with Meyers to my lawyer. She agreed that I had a legitimate claim. She wrote her own letter to the company outlining their breach of contract in not following their own policy which is clearly stated on their bill of sale. Not surprisingly, Meyers has not responded to my lawyer's letter either. It appears it is easier for them to never respond at all to anyone, rather than explain or defend their position. It is clear to me that once Meyers gets your money they believe they have the upper hand and they don't even show the courtesy of responding to the customer, the Better Business Bureau, or to legal correspondence. I guess the next step is to see them in court. If you are considering dealing with Meyers, check out their reviews on the BBB website, Google reviews and Yelp. We were never told it is their unstated policy is to never refund deposits for any reason, even though the paperwork that they presented to us, and that I signed, says otherwise. read more

The new Sales manager has no clue what he is doing!!!!! Rude as hell!!!! The 2 salesmen I saw seem to know more then him, esp bc they had to help him!! He is so inexperienced and obviously doesn't know how to perform his job, the salesmen had to help him all the way through. Never again, it was better before they changed the sales manager!!! They Made me LOTS AND LOTS of promises, Actually saying the words "I promise We'll take care of you!" over and over again. But never Kept their promises NOT ONE! Spent $80,000. Here very disappointed in Rick and Jamie. Rick H. Talked for hours to sell, but he lied about everything he says he would do to fix or replace anything including the whole Motor home. And if you get a lawyer he'll tell you no one in the store is allowed to talk to you anymore. He kept the motor home for weeks at a time and NOTHING WAS EVER FIXED! And Jamie, in the finance office, he charges you extra thousands of dollars by saying to you while tying on his keyboard "I am going to GIVE you... A coating on your RV so you'll never ever have to wash it. You think wow that's nice of the company, but when you get the paper to sign you see the coding cost you $6,000. And I'm going to give you roadside assistance for your tires but then on the contract he adds $1400. for roadside assistance just for the tires! all the while your loan for your purchase is going up and up and up until a $59,000 motorhome ends up to be $80,000 I still can't figure out how I ended up owing that much. And I traded in my 80,015 Ford fusion with about 35,000 miles on it, no scratches no dents no problems like a brand new car, So when he says I'm going to give you this I'm going to give you that he is not giving you anything he's charging it to your loan on and extended warranty because they get kickbacks from an extended warranty and I'm guessing the more you pay for that the more they get! So i'm warning you, if I were you I wouldn't buy anything from them, I will never go back. So don't do it, don't go there don't buy an RV from them or you may find yourself very angry And unhappy with your purchase and a month later when you get to actually see your load agreement "on line" it will be much more then you will ever imagine. Because Cicero is only 10 minutes from our house, we went there to look at a camper that I had already picked out online. It wasn't going to work for us because my husband was too tall to fit in the bed so they told us to cut a hole in the cupboard. Really??? I asked for a lower price and they told me they couldn't go any lower so we left and a week later they had that camper online for the price we wanted to pay. They didn't even call to let us know, we found it ourselves. So we ended up finding a camper that we bought in Churchville, which was 1 hour and 45 minutes from our house. The Salesman, Mark Rogers was wonderful!!! The radio didn't work, so they ordered us a bluetooth radio and had it shipped to The Syracuse(Cicero) Meyer's RV to install so we wouldn't have to drive back for that and when we got our camper back from Cicero(or they call themselves Syracuse) it wasn't the bluetooth radio that Churchville ordered for us, they put in a different radio and that was even after Syracuse (Cicero) told us which one we were getting. Unbelieveable!!! They stole our radio. So Churchville sent us another one and sent it to our house. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I would rather drive to Churchville. read more
