I can't say enough good things about Wilkins RV in Bath, NY. While traveling through New York in our new 2026 Class A diesel motorhome, I discovered a hydraulic leak that I couldn't locate. Even though we purchased our coach from a dealer in North Carolina, Wilkins didn't hesitate to help. Wayne Robertson and his team were absolutely incredible -- professional, kind, and accommodating from the very first call. Despite having no open appointments, they made room to get us in, diagnosed the issue (a loose hydraulic fitting), and had us back on the road within a couple of days. After more than 20 years of RVing, I can honestly say I've never encountered a more professional and trustworthy dealership or service team. **Extremely Disappointed with Wilkins RV** We purchased a *brand new* 2024 Flagstaff from Wilkins RV with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has spent more time in their service department than at our home. We've made just 10 payments on it and only managed to take it on 3 trips -- the rest of the time, it's been in the shop. Right from the start, we've had major issues: the slide toppers, the fireplace, the slide-out, and now -- to make matters worse -- what appears to be **water damage from the roof**. Despite these ongoing problems, the Bath, NY service department has been unhelpful and incredibly frustrating to work with. One woman in particular was *extremely rude* when we tried to explain the repeated and unresolved issues. We trusted Wilkins RV to sell us a quality camper, but it's clear we were sold a lemon. Worse, they refuse to stand behind the product or work with us to reach a resolution. The fireplace issue -- supposedly fixed -- has returned, and now we're facing structural concerns with the roof. Once again, the RV is sitting at their shop instead of being enjoyed by our family. Bottom line: **Wilkins RV sold us a damaged RV and has done nothing to make it right.** I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable camper or a dealership that cares about their customers after the sale. read more

Wilkins RV in Bath has the worst service department I have ever dealt with. We took our 3 year old RV we bought from them in for an NYS inspection, to fix the water heater for the third time and an oil change. We made an appointment with their concierge service 2 weeks in advance when we got there for our appointment we were told we didn't have an appointment, when we disagreed the women at the counter got real snarky. They then said well we can "fit you in". We told them that there was food in the freezer and fridge. If it was going to be too long they would need to plug the RV in. They said not to worry. After a three weeks of us calling to ask on the status they finally gave us an update that they needed parts and they would let us know when it was done. After a month we got our RV back smelling like a decomposing body and the freezer and refrigerator was full of maggots and flies. They never plugged the RV in and all the food spoiled. As we were leaving the tech said "sorry about your food" I just removed the refrigerator from our RV. Wilkins has taken no responsibility for any of this. read more

We purchased a used 5th wheel and had nothing but problems from the beginning of the sale. Very unorganized staff. Constant excuse was how busy they were. Lots of miscommunication. I contacted the owner after a month of back-and-forth with the associates at the Bath location. He explained the lack of employees and the surge of buyers. He said they were hiring and expanding to better serve the customers, and issued a gift card for our inconvenience. He seemed genuinely concerned. Just don't shop at Bath. We were traveling through from Lancaster PA, and our tire and rim flew off the camper south of Corning. We luckily have a 2 axle camper, so we limped up the highway to find a service center. We called Wilkins and they invited us to stay the night in their Rv spots with water and electric- what a blessing that was!! They have 20+ stalls for their service center, and they fixed our wheel the next morning for a very reasonable cost. WE purchased a used Class A motorhome in January of 2018. All went will with the purchase. They stored the unit on the lot until we picked it up the end of April. We were given a 30 day warranty. We made or first trip with Multiple Problems, after being assured that the unit had just been serviced prior to purchase. Took it back with a list of at least 12 items to be repaired, and was told they would get right on it. After multiple phone calls, the unit was done after 2 1/2 months, right through the prime camping season. Upon pickup things were still NOT repaired. They were also going to charge me for several items on the list not covered by the warranty. I had to produce the papers that stated otherwise. Worst Experience Ever!!! Bought a Coachman Catlina in August 2021, this camper had some issues and needed to go back to service in Oct 2021. While it was there, they had lost the repair order and when I called in April of 2022, they told me that they lost the order in what needed to be done. After going back in and pointing out 7 pages of problems, the work would be done by our first trip in May. Few days later they call and tell us the camper got hit in their parking lot and damages would be fixed. At this point we don't want the camper and longer and wanted out of the camper by trading it in they offer a very low trade value. So, we made a deal on a Grey Wolf Cherokee. While waiting for the delivery I was showing a friend off their web site and found the same camper for almost $6,000 Less. When we called the dealer to inform them of this, they told me everything that was included with the original deal would be removed (250.00 gift card, extra bunk mattress, removal and installation of tv). We agreed went in 3 days before delivery to check over new camper and again found many problems with new camper (missing trim, broken drawer and door). They said it was new, and all would be fixed and planed delivery 3 days away. At delivery nothing was fixed and was not even cleaned inside or outside (sawdust, metal shavings all over the place). All item that was broke or missing were on national back order and they would order the parts, again drop it off at end of season and all would be fixed. We canceled the deal and will never buy for this place again. We did buy a new camper elsewhere.... and got $6350 more for our trade read more

Our salesperson, Holly, was amazing. We had the best experience and time making a big purchase. She made the whole process smoothe and was a ton of fun. Holly gets a 5 star rating. However, the rest of the process and what we have been dealing with have not been the best. There was confusion over when we were to pick up our camper, the young man who did our walk through had no idea what he was doing, and when we went inside our camper, the tailgate was not put away properly. We were told that it would be dewinterized, yeah that was a joy to find that it hadn't been done on our first trip out. We found tons of stuff that should never have been missed if your service department had gone through it properly. Right now it is in the repair shop. Friends and family buyer beware of Wilkins Rv in Bath Ny. This company is not the same company that my Grandfather and Father delt with in the past. They sold us a camper and once money was down and paperwork was signed the mentioned that the lien release was not sent to them yet. This started 2 1/2 weeks ago. Was supposed to take delivery last Tuesday then it was last Thursday. They rushed it through their detail shop that morning. When we went through their demo there was cobwebs in the corners bugs stuck in some type of oil on the ceiling vents and in all the light covers. They also wetted down the floor and closed the slides before letting it dry. At that point on Thursday we again could not take it home so we asked for that stuff to be repaired. Not sure that it was done I was so pissed today I ask for someone to unhook my truck so I could leave before I really let them have a piece of my mind. I do not blame employees I blame the owner and President Brian Wilkins for allowing a unit to even be viewed before they had proper paperwork. Makes you wonder if they are robbing Peter to pay Paul. With only three days before the Holiday weekend I asked if they could bring it to my house so we can pack it they said it could not leave premises until that paperwork is there. So it looks like my family will be camping at Wilkins RV Bath New York. Stop by for a hot dog if we don't get to go up North. 100% would not recommend buying from Wilkins of Bath, NY. I purchased a camper in the fall, was told multiple times it's been winterized, they even showed me. Brought the camper straight to storage after the purchase. I went to open the camper up this spring and get ready for camping season. Hooked my water up and turned on the hot water heater, and would you look at that. Hot water heater is leaking all over the camper because it wasn't winterized properly, busted the tank and pushed the pressure valve right out of the tank. Although they admit they were wrong, and replacing at no charge, they are taking weeks to get it installed now when they received the new one! Service depar is down right awful. read more

Do not feel that they even should have me give them 1 star the get 10 thumbs down. I agree with a lot of the other reviews that gave them a pour rating . We purchased our 2019 camper at the end of June this year. And the second time we went camping the jack broke down came the front end of our camper. ( we got to the camp grounds after Wilkin's hours so had to call the next morning). My husband called first thing in the morning as soon as they opened and explained what had happened (we managed to get it so we could at least sleep in it for the night), they said that they would get right back with us. After several calls from us because they never called us back, keep having us call someone else (passing the buck, not my compartment). So we called Bryan our dealer and he said make an appointment to bring it in for service he explained that we could not get it high enough to get on our truck. And wanted them to send someone out and fix it. Was told that we had to take it to them (what part of we can not hook it up to the truck). Still getting the run around and being lied to over and over again. My husband decide to travel an hour from our camp ground and get a jack and put in on himself (he should have gotten labor pay). After $200 dollars later and him doing all the work and the only thing they gave us was an $18 dollars off the price(did not even pay for the gas). So after interrupting our vacation and my husband doing everything because they would not come and fix it. They could not wait to get our business take our money, they could not careless. My husband and I were looking to buy a new camper in October 2020 to use in the spring. Since the model we intended to purchase sold while we were in the dealership, we decided to order one built to our specs. We were told it would arrive at the end of February 2021. It did. Our credit was run in October and we were provided both monthly rates and an interest rate when signing the paperwork. Upon delivery of the camper, our credit ran again with new monthly rates & interest rates provided which were higher than originally agreed upon. We scheduled a demo and the date to sign the paperwork. On our way to the dealership, we were emailed and informed we needed to have our insurance binder before delivery. When we asked why since the camper wasn't being picked up that day and that our salesperson told us that the warranty doesn't start until we pull it off the lot, we were informed this was not correct, it starts as soon as we sign the paperwork. So please make sure you have the right facts. Upon arrival and going through the demo we realized that the factory failed to install a solar panel that we built into our package. The technician that set up the camper and did the inspection missed this nor realized the solar control panel inside the camper was showing an issue. This is a concern. Make sure to double-check your purchase order against what you receive on delivery day. We met with the service department who informed us we would hear back from him by the following week. We decided to purchase a bigger truck to pull the camper which we purchased the following week to take delivery sooner than we had anticipated upon learning about the warranty false statement. Our family invited us to join them on their property with our new camper during spring break only to find out the camper that was going to be ready at the end of February was now not set for delivery until after the part arrived that was missing on April 6th. The dealership did offer to allow us to pick up the camper that we were now paying for and insuring without the solar panel to use for our vacation and they would mail the missing solar panel to us that we would need to install. We opted to leave the camper so it was properly installed the way it should have been when it arrived at their dealership. I did write of our upset to the finance guy who handled our paperwork so hopefully, the feedback will help others going forward. We only hope others' experience is better than ours. read more

Very nice people but lack capability. We had issue with awning on the RV trailer we bought (a hole) at delivery. They noted and agreed to replace on warranty. Sales person never followed up. Responded when we aske of status weeks later that Part Department was looking for the part. Again, no response for weeks. All they needed to do was roll out the awning on one of the RV's on the lot and viola! - there's the PN! I sent them the PN a few days ago from my RV and waiting - but I won't wait long this time - to hear whether they can order it. Basically - they suck. read more

Bought a used camper from Wilkin's in Bath NY and was told that the camper would be inspected and anything found wrong would be fixed. Lie...lie...lie. The camper was never inspected and there were multiple issues with it including stagnant water in the tank, sewage in the tank, the refrigerator did not work, the canvas was covered with mold, every bold on the toilet was loose and none of the alarms worked. Naturally, I discovered all of this while on vacation. It took three consecutive years of complaining and a chat with the owner to get repairs completed. My family went to Wilkins RV in Bath NY to find a RV Trailer after discussing one that we wanted with a sales person we started negotiations after a few days of back and forth in emails the sales person agreed to what we wanted and asked for a down payment to secure it. an hour later she told me the changed there mind and wanted an additional 2k I found this very unprofessional going back on there agreement. I contacted the sales manager and he told me that he would not approve the original agreement even thought it was in email. When the repair man got out to us, He was here about 5 minutes, said he did not have the items to fix it and someone would call us. Never received the phone call. Had to stop in the store to find out we were also being charged a diagnostic charge for him coming out and walking around the camper because he claims the problem isn't mechanical. Now my gray water release valve is still not working and after talking with Ann in the service department, I was told they would call us back. That was three days ago. I waited 3 1/2 weeks for an appointment to get a quote for the replacement of one of the slide floors in my fifth wheel trailer. I took my trailer Wilkins in Bath and met Amanda Murphy my "service advisor" on 8/21/2019 so she could look at the work needed and take measurements. She told me I would have a quote either later that day or the next day. After a few days I left a voicemail for the "service advisor". With no response I called and left a second voicemail for the "service advisor" the morning of 8/29/2019. Later that day my wife called and was told that an email would be sent to the "service advisor" for her to get back to us. The "service advisor" called on 8/30/2019 saying that she had called and left me a voicemail. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, although I had missed no calls and had no voicemails. She said she needed the VIIN for my trailer in order to get the proper replacement floor from the trailer manufacturer. I provided the VIIN as requested. Again, after hearing nothing from the "service advisor" I called on the morning of 9/5/2019. She was shuffling papers around trying to give me some partial information. I told her to email me the complete quote. I then checked that she had the correct email and she indicated that she would get sent that day. After receiving nothing from the "service advisor" I called her back on 9/6/2019 only to find that she was not in that day. I then asked to speak to the service manager who was supposedly in an interview. I left him a voicemail and he returned my call later that afternoon. I explained what had been going on and that I was getting tired of the lack of response from the "service advisor". He informed me that he would need to look through the file at some of the information in order to get me a price. That was a week ago. It is now 9/13/2019 and I have heard nothing out of Wilkins. I cannot believe Wilkins considers it acceptable to ignore a customer, leaving them hanging. All it would have taken was a call or email from the "service advisor" to let me know what was going on. What I do know is that there are other RV dealerships and I will take my business to one of them. Not only for the service on my current trailer but for the purchase of its replacement. read more

Six thumbs down here. We bought a 2019 model camper at the beginning of this year and used it only a couple times and had some issues. After waiting about six weeks to get it in there for the warranty work to be done it came back with still some repairs not made. Nothing like standing behind your product. It came back dirty in every area they had to work in and also broke the molding on one of our cabinets at the bottom and they tried gluing it back together with red glue and it does not line up properly. Service could never return phone calls and when they finally did they were rude in most manners almost like why are you bothering me. Would not recommend this place at all. Ok folks, so here we go! I read some negative feedback on Wilkins RV in Bath New York and was hesitant to consider purchasing an RV from them. Let me say, I have been nothing but pleased! I have waited 5 weeks from my purchase to write my review just to make sure I believed what I was writing. First, I worked with Gunnar Maggio in sales to purchase our Grand Design 5th wheel. You can skip the 5 rating, Gunnar gets a 10!!! Honest, hard working, puts the customer first no matter what, communicates, makes you feel like a true customer, which is a rarity these days in business......and it goes on! Page in finance really looked out for us and we were going to use our own financing and she found financing 2 points below ours! Then we went to the parts area. OMG! Emily was a total sweetheart and went out of her way to take care of us. When she could not answer a question, she grabbed Mike Burke, a seasoned tech, who dropped everything to help us and wow! what a great bunch of folks! When it came time to pick up the trailer, Colin and Corey went out of their way to make sure all was right and I was comfortable with our new camper. They even brought out Mike, love that guy!, when they were unsure of something who pointed us straight! The only negative I would give Wilkins is they charge you $300 for registration and DMV fees which really is baloney when it only cost $97 then are telling us it takes them two months to process the refund. I totally understand they need to charge enough to make sure they are not chasing customers for the additional, but $300 versus $97 is wrong. If they were quick to return the difference I would not even be writing about this. Well, so there you go! I recently purchased a DRV from Wilkins in Bath NY. We spent three days there living in the RV at the Dealership going over everything and understanding how everything worked. I couldn't have been treated better from the buying experience from salesman Mark Piscitelli, to the Business manager Steve Cannon and the Tech Gary Drum! Gary ensured I had a good understanding of everything and when we found an issue on the PDI he without question corrected it quickly and professionally. He spent hours with us and went out of his way. We had an issue the night before we were leaving as we wanted to get an early start. They were closed but I brought it to the attention of someone who was still there, sorry I can't remember her name. As we were sitting in the RV at 7 pm, 2 1/2 hours after close a truck rolled up and it was Gary! He spent nearly 2 1/2 hours there into the dark making sure we could get out of there early. The replaced 2 windows not the windows the they were supposed to. I have no power from the batteries. When I picked up my rv there was mice turds all over the inside. this place SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN WITHOUT THE BATTERIE I COULD HAVE LOST MY BRAKES COMPLETE IDIOTS THEY COULD HAVE KILLED ME. read more

We traveled to the Churchville location for our demonstration and check out of our Innsbruck trailer on February 5th and identified 6 things that needed to be repaired before we would pick it up on April 9th. On April 9th, we traveled from our home in Lancaster NY to the Churchville location (about a 1 hour drive) and we were told by the receptionist that the trailer is in the parking lot and we can hook it up there. We were surprised that no one was offered to help hook it up, so we asked for someone to do that for us. They provided a technician that had been working there for 3 days and we went to the trailer in the parking lot. At that point, we went in the trailer and found that none of the items were repaired that we identified. The technician told us to wait in the waiting room and he will inform his boss of the situation. We were waiting for about 15 minutes and we decided to search out our business manager, Brook, and she said she was busy, but would come out in a few minutes. Eventually, the service manager, Nancy, tracked us down and apologized for the work not being done and asked us to come back on the following Wednesday to pick it up. Brook joined that conversation, but did not have much to add to the conversation. We let them know our displeasure of making a 2 hour round trip and having the work incomplete, and having to make an additional 2 hour round trip. We returned on the following Wednesday and the work was completed and a more experienced technician helped us hook it up and we left. Overall, not a very good experience for us. read more

We were shopping for an RV and found a great used one at Wilkins that was very clean and well maintained. We didn't have an appointment but David Walsh stepped up and showed us the one we were interested in. We did the paperwork and they were able to match the interest rate of our credit union. We did have a few issue ( it was a 2014) that we felt should have been picked up by the mechanics when it came in but weren't. Like the batteries were so dead they wouldn't even charge and a drivers mirror was broken and our exhaust fan needed replaced (they knew this and had ordered one) so we called the Service Dept. a few times but got no response. I had to email my Salesperson, Finance Department, and Service Department to get a response. Once this was done we were able to get things on track and I can't say enough about our salesperson David Walsh, He was on top of getting us assistance and did not just make a sale and run. Wilkins IS working on expanding the service dept. to handle the demand and we have been treated with respect and concern from all staff since our initial complaint. Wilkins offers free classes for first timers and veterans alike that are invaluable and really try to make sure they are doing a better job at addressing concerns. So please do your research before buying as they don't know what you don't know and just can't educate you on everything there is to know. We are first time RVers and have learned a lot from the classes they offer and YouTube video's . All in all they worked with us and made things right and are very happy with how things turned out. I would buy from Wilkins again especially if David Wash is our salesperson. read more

We purchased a used class A in December 2017 from them. All seemed fine through the purchase process. They stored the unit for free until spring. It had an engine issue at the time of purchase that we were assured would be taken care of before we picked it up. It wasn't. We were further assured that the unit had no water damage or issues. Upon getting it home( engine seemed under powered), we found a soaking WET wall. Took it back. After 2 months they finally fixed the engine and we paid for the water damage to be repaired we again brought it home. I must tell you this was a horrible experience. I stated to purchase an RV on Wednesday. I was on the phone with the salesmen later that afternoon. I told him I had cash so I didn't need financing but I wanted a better price on the RV. I already have one, but was looking for about a yr for a.bigger one. This one.was perfect. Bottom line, I went in Saturday to.show my grandchildren, and to.finalize the deal. They.sold the camper.to.someone else. I quote the manager: " well we got full price from those people!" First off let me say this, my salesman was great Rick is a very honest person, with that being said, now for the bad. Back in October my RV was returned for warranty work, slide toppers were jamming up slide out, frig did not work, auto level did not work, and roof was not glued down, all of no fault to Wilkins. After 7 months of having my RV, I informed my service advisor and Wayne the service manger I would be up on a Saturday to pick up and would like the RV set up waiting for me since I was driving 5 hours to get it. I showed up to only find my RV sitting in the parking lot not hooked up and with dead batteries. I had text messages saying it would be up and running when I arrived, lie one. I had the sales manager come out and help me get it hooked up and asked him if the unit was winterized as requested and he assure me yes since it was there all winter, lie 2. Once getting the RV home I noticed the panel in one of the closet never put back on, so I fixed this myself. Now back to lie 2, was the unit winterized, absolutely not, our first trip out I hooked up water and continued with set up only to find a lake in my closet from a none winterized pipe, I called Wayne and my service advisor and never got a return call now I am stuck fixing broken pipe and trying to dry up water in unit. The service department is one of the worst I have dealt with and there care for the customer is a complete JOKE. If you need a RV to go to another state with a better service area go for it but as far as Wilkins Service forget it the are the worst GOOD LUCK read more
