I am never one to have to ask to speak to a manager but with decades of working in the customer service industry I also always try to provide a solution, and feel that should be provided at a minimum from customer service inquiries. The instore team effectively did. Shout out to you! On the other hand, Zara online/phone customer service needs a complete rehaul. I am actually appalled that is what the service is like for online orders, and will not order from online moving forward. I will however continue to be an in store customer, specifically because I was able to effectively work with the staff to help address concerns.

We happened to enter on the second floor. There are no cash registers on the second floor. You cannot get to the first floor because both esclators are closed. There is an elevator way in the back on the same wall as the entrance. This place was a ghost town on a Saturday, early evening. Kidlet did find some items they wanted to purchase so we had to schlep downstairs. There was only one place I saw to check out. While it had multiple registers there was only one person working. There was one person ahead of me, one person behind me and check out took close to 10 minutes. The price was higher than I thought it would be but I didn't think much of it. Got home and reviewed my receipt and the prices they charge you are not what is advertised. Their brand "thereabouts" was pretty much 50% of unless you were buying jeans or shorts. The socks I thought would be $8 were $16. I looked at their prices online and they were less expensive. Overall I paid about $25 more than what was advertised in store and online. The store was also very hot. No air, no ventilation. I am not a frequent shopper of JCP (I think the last time I shopped there was 2014) and I haven't been missing out. I just hope the clothes hold up decently. I do not recommend shopping here unless you enjoy being hot, waiting a long time and not having easy ways to maneuver about the store.

Instead of proceeding with a store credit or exchange as discussed, the associate processed a refund in a way that left me unable to use the value toward another item. This added to the frustration, as I ultimately left the store without a resolution that felt fair or helpful. Like all the Uniqlo locations that I've ever visited, this one is immaculate and organized. It's a pleasure to walk around and look at the well-made Japanese clothing. This is one of the smaller stores, so there isn't a huge variety like some of the other locations. But I found the things that I came for: the 3D mesh knit sweater in two different neutral colors, and another sweater in a neutral color. Uniqlo is great for basics and neutral things. One of my children thought I spent a thousand dollars on the clothes that I bought (he has no sense of money!), but no! The great thing about Uniqlo is that the clothes are great quality but the price is low. I love Uniqlo.
