I stopped in for lunch today and there was only 1 other table of people at noon. I ordered a kids meal because I did not want to spend 10 or 11 dollars. The chips and salsa came. The salsa really had no taste much. Pretty plain. I ordered chicken quesadillas with rice and beans. I knew it would be small, that wasn't the issue. The refried beans was pure liquid, totally thin. The rice tasted old and stale. Not much chicken either. Will never go back there. read more

I've only ordered take out and it was a smooth transaction with awesome food. I found this place after searching for Birria Tacos and after mixed reviews hesitantly tried however they were awesome. If you're ordering over $50 be expected to prepay which makes sense. The customer service was awesome as well as they allowed me to pick up my food as little after closing due to my travels. Definitely patronize this small business! read more

I had the surf and turf fajitas. Fajitas are usually my go to, especially at a new place. If you can't make good fajitas, you probably can't make the other stuff either. My son's had the tacos and my wife, the burrito. Service was a little iffy because the waitress wasn't sure about a couple of questions and had to ask, but she was attentive and very nice. The owner came by twice to talk and ask how our meals were which is a great sign of a good restaurant. Food was great, fresh chips, and two sauces on the table (green & red) were fantastic and very spicy. You could tell the corn tortillas for the fajitas were fresh and handmade. Overall the food was two thumbs up read more

Staff was friendly! Food was good but a bit expensive. 3 barria tacos $12.99 is a lot to me, but I'd go back.

Well. This is my first visit. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were great. I also ordered a Margarita and it was the house made with a premix. She added something not to mention it was half off. Needless to say, it prepared me for my roadtrip. Parking is in abundance and the bartender was great continue to check my status even though she worked the entire bar area. Her name is Gene, not sure of her days worked but very attentive. Will be back with friends. read more

I finally got to visit this place after seeing all the great reviews on the birria tacos. I placed my order over the phone. Ordered the birria tacos in beef and chicken, asada burrito, and chicken veggie tamales. The staff was very friendly and nice. The place was very clean and organized. My order was made perfectly. The birria tacos were delicious. They were filled with plenty of meat and cheese. Everything was so fresh and tasted very authentic. The asada burrito was very good too. After the birria tacos I was too full to try the tamales but will try them later. I hope they will add mangonadas to their menu...that's my favorite. read more

This is the best Mexican food in Columbus. We have tried all the others and this one is the champ. Get the birria tacos!

Amazing and authentic food. The salsa is so fresh and the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and the service is second to none. read more

This was a little place a friend recommended. Very clean and neat. Great menu selection and good prices. The cheese dip with beef wasn't my favorite but everything else I had was delicious. Especially the red and green taco sauces. We will definitely be back. read more

Since moving to the area, haven't found a really great Mexican restaurant that gave me that "wow" factor until we tried Mexigrill! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I got carne asada nachos which were amazing and my husband got a carne asada burrito. I love how they don't drench the food in queso, they give you the option. Also tried Jamaica and horchata and both were yummy! Customer service was also a plus! Definitely coming back and happy we found our favorite Mexican food spot. read more

Very good food and a nice atmosphere! I had the flautas which were super flavorful. Cheese dip was pretty standard, chips and salsa were good. No complaints, will be back! read more

An ok place with ok service, and medium waiting times. They charge 20 percent extra for large groups of 10 or more and their food isn't all that great. Got my order wrong and I believe that it's an ok place If it's an emergency. I would not dine here again. read more

Mexigrill Taquería - Small beans for 2.25 - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Georgia

What a great experience! They've expanded with a new dining area, and the food is wonderful as always. The tex-mex menu is a good option for those with a tamer pallet, but the authentic corn tortilla tacos with options like Nortena and Pastor are amazing. The service is friendly and quick...with many eateries struggling with service issues right now, that was a big plus. read more

When I pulled up I was very skeptical, as soon as I walked in that skepticism disappeared! The place was extraordinarily clean, staff was amazing, and their tacos are some of the best I have ever had in my entire life! If you like tacos this is a MUST try! read more

Today we tried this place for lunch and were completely happy with the food and service. Everything was fresh and authentic. I had tacos and my daughter had a burrito and we split fresh guacamole. This is our new favorite place for fresh Mexican food. read more

Mexigrill Taquería - Condiments for tacos, all very fresh and delicious - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Georgia

Birria Deliciousness! Friendly service! BIG, clean dining space in front. Already decided to have a family function here.

We will never go back to them. Lousy service. Long wait for server. Wrong orders. Server tried to charge for an item that the child didn't like without offering an option and refused to remove from bill. Then manager or owner came out fussing at us and being very rude and obnoxious. They were too busy with take out orders and we were sitting there for 2 hrs! Over 30 mins for food. Also server didn't let us know that they were busy with take out orders when we first got there. Also food was not impressive. The salsa dip was TERRIBLE all watery and no flavor!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! read more

Great find. Delicious and authentic. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Nicely renovated place. Would definitely return.

The place was pretty clean (including bathrooms). Staff was friendly and polite. (The waitress was bilingual which was great) salsas were slightly watery but were still spicy, I had tacos de carne asada and cabeza while my sister ate a torta de lengua (customizable option). The wait wasn't long and we were out in about 30 minutes. read more

This is the best Mexican food in Columbus. It is even on par with the stuff out west. I will no longer visit other Mexican restaurants in town after going here. In particular I recommend the beef Birria. It's some sort of double taco with good stuff inside it that you dip in special beef broth. Also had the Cuban platter which was delicious as well. The people are nice here too, constantly coming by to ask if we could use anything else, and offering good recommendations. The inside is very clean, looks recently remodeled, and has nice decorations. read more

I love their chicken birria & churros. I go there at least once or twice a week. They're are just that good and they are nice to me.

We tried it for the first time. We ordered the pastor tacos, pupusas, and torta. The tacos were delicious! I was not expecting a homemade tortilla. They didn't fall apart when we ate them. The anterior decor did not have the tacky look most Mexican restaurants tend to have. The menu was simple and easy to read and not so busy with unnecessary items like other Mexican restaurants in town. I would highly recommend anyone to try and we will definitely be coming back! read more

The Birria Tacos and churros were great! The staff are friendly and welcoming also. Definitely will be returning very soon!

This place is amazing! Really fresh and authentic food, the staff was incredible and made us feel very welcome, the place is cute and really clean! You will not be disappointed if you want some of the freshest most delicious Mexican or Latin American food around!!! read more

Solid place all around, the tacos are 10/10 as well as their burritos. Plates stacked high and clean

The food is decent but service is terrible. Took 15 minutes to get us a cheese dip and then they gave it to the only other table in the entire restaurant. There were a total of 8 customers and it still took an eternity for everything. Even took 10 minutes just for someone to come see us. Ridiculous. read more

Outstanding tacos and very friendly staff who took great care of me, absolutely loved this place!

Affordable tacos and great service. It's similar to most taco places where you buy the corn tortilla tacos and sides are extra. Their food has authentic flavor and the small restaurant ambiance is refreshing. There were quite a few people in there around 7ish so it's popularity is picking up. read more

Superb food. It was all fresh, flavorful and perfect temperature. My Carne Asada was the best I have ever had. Have their Churro and ice cream for dessert. read more

This place is the bomb. Owners are super kind and so is the staff, I recommend their customer service and food. The yummiest tamales in town- and that chicken mole dish they have is an unreal mix of savory and sweet. A must try. So grateful these authentic flavors are available in Columbus, GA. read more

The only word I can use to describe this place: mediocre. My dad and I ordered the steak fajitas. They came with an 8oz cup of refried beans, TONS of rice and a dash of tomatoes, sour cream, and lettuce, which I ended up asking for more of. I felt like it was overall under seasoned. The salsa had a ketchup consistency. The tortilla chips weren't that good. I've heard so many good things about this place, so maybe I'll go back and get something else. read more

I'm from California I've lived there my whole life, definitely was really trying to find some real authentic Mexican food here in Georgia! Then I come here to Mexigrill the place is nice and clean also an amazing setup, furthermore the food was amazing also definitely didn't disappoint! read more

Mexigrill used to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Columbus. In the past year their menu has changed and the food quality has gone downhill. Salsa now tastes like canned tomato sauce and food isn't nearly as flavorful as before. Not sure what changed, but it wasn't for the better. read more

Finally , Columbus has a fantastic taqueria. Food is super fresh, delicious and price is very fair and reasonable. We have a new "go to" spot. read more

They have decent food. Their steak burrito isn't the best I've tasted. It tasted bland compared to other burritos I've had from other taquerias. Their cheese just doesn't cut it. I'd say this place is better than those fake Mexican restaurants but as far as taquerias are concerned, it has some work that needs to be done. They need to work on making their food more flavorful. read more

Me and my boyfriend stopped by for lunch a few weeks ago. Within 45 minutes of eating we both became violently ill, and had felt completely fine before eating here. The food was bad, service was bad, and we will not be visiting again. read more

Cinco de Mayo, 15 top table. It took 30 minutes to get a waitress and 45 for chips and salsa. The menu was very depleted to the point that people were forced to choose a tertiary option for dinner. Food was hot when it came out. Would not recommend. read more

We finally found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus!!! Excellent customer service! My husband had the carne asada cooked medium which was extremely juicy and flavorful and I had the grilled chicken burrito which was awesome!!! The chicken is not shredded it is actually chopped grilled chicken which I love!!! Chips and salsa are to die for along with there queso!!! read more

The lady who took my order was nice but definitely seemed overwhelmed. Ordered $80 worth of food and I was definitely let down. The reviews led me to believe the birria tacos would be fire and well they were just okay. The chile rellenó seemed like they just took some caldo de pollo out the consomé and threw it in the chile and that's what was recommended as their authentic Mexican dish. Neither salsas were spicy, the rice had no flavor and the beans were like soup. read more

Excellent!! Great food that's fresh and well prepared. Very nice and accommodating staff. Shocked there wasn't a line out the door. Will be back very soon. read more
