They do have butchers there to help you with fresh portions but be sure to ask if there is frozen variety just in case fresh won't work for your shopping trip. They have a wonderful gluten free section with pantry items like pancake mix to pasta but they also have a freezer section with desserts, entrees, and pizzas. The staff is always so friendly and they are disability friendly when hiring so that always makes me feel seen. The staff is always so friendly and helps me find what I need and help score deals on the mobile app. They can help you get a rug doctor too in case you need a deep clean at home. Besides finding local gems, the produce is always fresh and lasts a week or so in the fridge which is great in case you forget the lettuce in the bag behind your milk! The prices are great too and often run 2 for $5 deals and reduced prices for their branded products that stand up to the main brands. This place is very accessible so always a plus. Their fresh food is fresh, the meet department is very helpful, and they have good variety over all. I have been frustrated at times by this location not carrying things other locations do. My biggest complaint has been relocating items. A couple years ago they redid the floors, updated the walls, and did a massive reorganization. That about did me in!!! They still will randomly change where something is. I think customer satisfaction should be more important than marketing experimentation. That said, the thing I most appreciate is the staff. They have so many employees that have been there "forever". That says a lot. I like supporting businesses that treat their employees well and I appreciate the employees at this store. Just last week I also noticed 3 young new employees with autism employed there. They did a great job, and I was thrilled Schnucks was clearly going out of their way to employ them.

This is the community my children grew up in and still reside as young adults. They have experienced the poor customer service from Sandy also. I don't want to give up on this location, but it seems there is no other choice. This has been a problem for a few years, I purchased a home closer to this location, but I may just have to take my business to Schnucks across the street. I will not continue to put up with this behavior when I'm spending money that contributes to Sandy's paycheck. Sandy may need to retire she seems to be a prejudice angry old lady. With the dedication to fresh items- what do they do with day-old items, they end up here. I also check the day-old bread and other items shelves. I have found some interesting grabs. Usually this bargain aisle is marked-down with new bar-codes to make it easier to check out, but sometimes they just mark it down with markers and a cashier has to find the price. Bonus- finding standard items marked down like Arizona Tea or different pizzas that I can buy in bulk. This is a good chain store to buy produce, meat and seafood go the freshness.
