I went to Mexicali Fresh on a hunt for my first burrito, the first thing that attracted me there was their cute artsy mexican decor and their witty jokes (like a huge neon lamp sign saying "practice safe mex")
They had their menu online, so I could figure out what I wanted to buy in advance and not have to fret about money/being confused in line, so yay for that.
The staff service is okay; it's not the worst but it could've been improved if they were more warmer to customers. I bought their macho burrito, and boy does the name of it explain it well - it was probably close to 2 portions of a normal burrito, and it was good, but not delicious. The macho burrito was $16.90 and if i'm not mistaken, that's the most expensive it gets. Maybe i should try their other burritos in the future, or make a custom one (according to their online menu, of course)
The place is clean (hurrah) and they sell a range of other food too, like vegetarian salads, churros, and nachos. Overall, Mexical Fresh is an okay place; I wouldn't crave to go there again desperately. read more
