There are always mean kids in the world but it helps calm the situation when the staff is helpful. Thanks Salvation Army for allowing my son to have a safe, inexpensive fun summer. I wish we lived closer so he could go to there center during the school year it's probably inexpensive and helpful.

We always felt that our children were safe, loved, and genuinely cared for. As parents, it is bittersweet to close this chapter. Saying goodbye after both kids have graduated is emotional, but we are filled with gratitude. I don't feel like my child got a fair chance due to her behavior. I don't feel like the staff was patient enough with her and even after I mentioned that she is being screened for autism. My child wasn't even enrolled for 2 weeks. I got called almost everyday with complaints about my child, but I wasn't able to get a full picture of the story only of my child's actions. My child was a problem because she required to much one on one time. Instead of coming up with a solution I was just told to come get her. Finances were weird I understand having to pay but I felt like the cost was being thrown at me, but more the vibe changed when I informed them I was on a program to help pay for daycare. I wasn't even offered the other payment options . So I feel they made that a difficult situation.. I hate to leave this kind of review but I would hate for a single mother in my position to think she's going to get support and doesn't . I was honest about my child possibly being autistic and I feel like she was misjudged and there was a lack of patience. She was enrolled for 2 weeks and went home early majority of the days . I was refunded. But if your child has a disability I don't think this is the place . And it's sad that they couldn't even recommend a center that could be more fitting.

The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival.
