Food here is decent at a decent price, but the service is appalling and the personal hygiene non-existent.
On one occasion, I ordered the Spanish Omelette, which had eggs, strips of jamon, little toast pieces, and fries. This was inside the restaurant. I enjoyed it and didn't have anything negative to say about it, but when I returned several days later to order a Solomillo al Whisky to go... the waiter/owner/manager/maybealloftheabove handled cash, wiped snot from his nose, and proceeded to hand me bread with my order.
Everything I loved about this "nice neighborhood restaurant" was gone. How can I stomach this food after seeing him handle cash that's been everywhere and sure to have unknown amounts of bacteria on it, using the same hands to wipe his nose, and then hand me bread that I'm supposed to eat with the food that I was starting to have serious second thoughts about.
Needless to say, I threw the bread away and gave away my order to a hungry peer at our nearby campus.
