We were unsure what type of vacuum to get, as we had gone 11 years with a Shark. We now have a larger apartment and a cat so we were ready to upgrade. Mike was such a joy to meet today. He was knowledgeable, not pushy, and honest with his opinion on what suited our needs. Such a great experience and would recommend! It's clear why he's been in business 29 years! read more

horrible - the old man that works there could care less and screws you over with the pricing. then, on top of that, insults women in particular when asking general vac. questions. he berates you and when wanting to buy a vac.- he does not even show you how good it is or how it can pick up dirt - he just vacuums over clean carpet. how can that show anyone the power of any vacuum. stay away and go with other businesses that show their customers respect. this old man is terrible. read more

i hardly ever write reviews but wanted to acknowledge the incredible experience i had at Metrowest Vacuums in Framingham yesterday. i did a lot of research to upgrade from my shark and landed on a sebo e3 as i have a mix of hardwood and carpet and a dog, then searched nearby certified dealers. Mike at Metrowest Vacuums was so kind and knowledgeable and did not try to sell me up at all. he insisted on demonstrating all of the capabilities and gave comparisons to similar models (even those that would save me money). he was up front about specials that were running and even took my shark off my hands. there was a steady stream of customers there for repairs that had been going there for years. beyond that, Mike was welcoming and engaging with my six year old daughter. i walked away with a far superior experience to an online retailer and a better deal. (also my floors and carpets have never looked cleaner after just a once over.) hope this helps someone if they're looking for a vacuum and wanting to support a local business! read more

Just had my Miele vacuum repaired by this shop. They are an absolute pleasure to deal with. This was my 3rd visit in as many years and each time I've received prompt, courteous & honest service at a fair price. They fixed the issue while I shopped @ Trader Joe's right next door. My vacuum is working again so I'm happy. If you need a new vacuum or need service on your current vacuum, I highly recommend Metrowest Vacuums. read more

i'm so glad i remembered that this store exists. The people who work here are so nice and they helped fix a vacuum that was under warranty that i didn't buy at that store! Will make sure to go there again for my next vacuum. read more

I have been going here for years. Bought several vacuum cleaners, bag replacements and bringing my vacuums for tuneups. They are reasonably price, great selections and outstanding customer service. They provide great repairs and tuneups at great prices. Please support the small businesses. read more

My vacuums have been skillfully maintained and repaired for about 20 yrs by the wonderful guys here. They are always competively priced, prompt and thorough in their service, and only offered a new vacuum when the 20 yr old Miele I had finally burnt out its motor. Doesn't get any better than this. read more

Mike is really a kind man (his technical skill is a given!) and he sure knows his way around vacuums! He is always helpful to me as I have pets and use my vacuum quite a bit; it is not surprising that he has so many five-star reviews as I would not go anywhere else, thanks Mike for always being there! You are the best, Kind regards from Kimberly read more

Will never buy or service a vacuum anywhere else. Just brought my Mielle vacuum in for repair. Most places would have either pushed me into buying a new vacuum or making an expensive repair.... instead they installed a refurbished part and a substantially lower cost. This is the type of retailer that will win over Amazon every day because of their outstanding products and service. read more

Very friendly service and easy transaction. Purchased Miele C3 Cat and Dog vacuum. Got s great deal with a few bonus items. read more

Metrowest Vacuums - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Framingham, Massachusetts

We have always been treated very well from the people at this place. Great prices and always great service.

I brought in my year-old Oreck vacuum because it had ripped a corner tassle off of a rug and tried to consume it, but it was stuck and totally disabled my vacuum. The very friendly and respectful proprietors of MW Vacuums proceeded to not only fix the issue right away, but also performed a full maintenance on the vacuum and had it ready to go in less than 20 minutes. And... it was all free! We have been using these wonderful folks for many years. They are the best! read more

Local business at its absolute best. Once Michael knew my budget, hardwood/carpet ratio of the floor, and how much pollen bothers my family, he showed me several vacuums by comparing and contrasting them in terms of price, features, specs, and warranties. This made it really easy to weigh the pros and cons of the different vacuums. Imagine attending an interesting and informative Vacuums 101 class with an amazing professor. It was like that. There was no pressure to buy, let alone any pressure to buy an expensive model. I asked him how long he has been in business for and he said: "21 years." It's easy to see why. Oh, and he prides himself on matching or beating Amazon and other large retailers' prices. Very highly recommend Michael and Metrowest Vacuums. read more

I have always defaulted to going to the big retailers to buy a vacuum - never again. I brought my Miele here to be looked at, after Mike assessed the machine - he said the machine works great only need to replace the filters and bag..... With that being said, you look at the vacuums they offer, pricing is in line with the big box stores, they service the units themselves, and at the end of the day you have knowledgeable people looking to help you in getting what is appropriate for your needs. Very happy I finally went into the store I have driven by for over 15 years. My only regret was not visiting them sooner. I'll be a customer to them going forward! read more

By far the best vacuum dealer around. I drive up from the Cape specifically to deal with Michael! He takes care of anything I need and is so nice. I thought I'd have to buy a new hose for my Meile, boom informs me it has a 5-year parts warranty and gets me a replacement in for free. Then I straight up smashed the extender button off the back of metal retractable stick piece by whacking it on a table and I brought it in with the little broken pieces and he luckily was able to fix it right there in the shop. Snapped two new pieces on and I was out the door a SECOND TIME, free of charge! I realize this could be partially due to Meile's outstanding warranty, but he is a no-muss, no-fuss, let's get you what you need, easy peasy kind of guy and i appreciate that! He also has all of the extra attachments, bags, extenders and filters you might need right in the shop. His vacuums are competitively priced and I saw on my way out that he advertises Amazon's price on some of the models - very transparent. I wouldn't care if he's $50 or $75 more. You're not going to get this sort of attention and service from Amazon so buy from Metro West! You won't regret it! read more

Thank you Metrowest Vacuum !! Your shop is impeccable! I recommend it to everyone ! The service is great and we love our Miele vacuum.

This place loves vacuums like I love mine. The people are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The selection is high-end QUALITY vacuums that last. The prices and value-added services keep me going back. I highly recommend! read more

Michael is very knowledgeable and helpful. You will not get this type of service online, that is for sure. He educates you on the differences in vacuums so that you make a purchase that you will not have to repeat in a year or two. He is a professional and all consumers should undoubtedly check out MetroWest before they go to the big box stores or the internet. read more

Such good service and such nice people! As a more than 20-year Miele veteran I could do ads for the product, so when it was time to replace I had no question about brand. What I was delighted to find was that Metrowest Vacuums in Framingham offered the same excellent service I had previously experienced from a similar brick-and-mortar store in New Jersey. The C3 I bought from Metrowest three years ago has performed flawlessly. The annual maintenance, provided by Metrowest as part of the purchase package, has kept the machine in tip-top condition. Mike and staff are extremely knowledgable and eager to share information to educate the customer. It's a pleasure to do business there! read more

The story is simple. We needed a new vacuum. So my partner went to Metrowest Vacuums for two reasons: 1. He knows i do all my purchases via small and/or brick and mortar businesses. 2. I only like bag vacuums. Since i was the primary user of this vacuum, my partner bought me a great Orek. Metrowest has great brands (not your typical brands) so if you are looking for something better like Orek, Miele, this is best place to go. Now the story doesn't end there. While i was vacuuming on Saturday, by accident my vacuum swallowed something so i turned it off right away. I looked where i could see but i couldn't tell what it was. So i tried to turn it on and the vacuum didn't anything. I called Metrowest right away and with no questions asked i was told to bring it in. I dropped off the vacuum on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday at 11 am, i got call that my vacuum was ready and fully functioning. The circuit board was replaced and i picked it up. I was so surprised and pleased of the service and it didn't take a week to be fixed. I think Metrowest Vacuums is a gem. So if you need a good vacuum with all the service needs under the same roof, this is the place to go. Last, we also purchased a hand vacuum and it is great. And for reference, i am not that old. I just can't stand the online only retailers because they will never replace a good, old fashioned customer service. read more

Amazing service! I had our Oreck xl in for a little TLC. It's operating like a brand new machine. Inexpensive, fast turn around, 1 day to be exact and nothing beats a small business that you really know their name. Highly recommended read more

Phenomenal! We stopped in here to get a replacement cord for our Oreck. I'm a devoted lover of vacuum cleaners and I could spend so much time here! I love Orecks but the Miele was so enticing! As the other reviewer said, the service here is the best. Our machine came back repaired and looking beautiful. The owner is so knowledgable and loves his work. We far prefer to support local businesses and when it comes time to get a new handheld as well as replace our upright, we will come back to MetroWest Vacuum. read more

Great customer service is alive and well at Metrowest Vacuums! Owner Michael is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He helped me select the right vacuum cleaner based on my needs. So easy! I soon thereafter went back and purchased another for my parents. Thanks, Michael, for the quality service! read more

My husband purchased a small vacuum that really did not suit the job we needed. I went in and talked to the guy about it and he could not have been nicer. He gave me a full refund, even though I said store credit would be fine. I will definitely go back when I need vacuum bags, or a new vacuum in the future. read more

I have been in the market for a new vacuum and went to a few places in the area. Mike, the owner was the absolute best to work with. He was personable and knowledgeable and gave me the best deal in the area. For example, he offered free filters, bags and a tune up. A local nearby vacuum store wanted me to purchase the filter ($50) and the bags and tried to talk me into a higher priced model. I will recommend this place to all of my friends. read more

We bought a Miele here. The salesperson was very helpful. He asked what flooring we had, if we had pets, etc. so we could pick the best type of vacuum cleaner. I would recommend them strongly. read more

Our Dyson vacuum died and in talking to Mike, he was willing to take a look at no charge and let us know what needed to be fixed. After looking at the vacuum, Mike said that the repair may be under warranty. He gave us all of the info to call Dyson from the vacuum. After calling we found that it was actually under warranty and would be repaired by Dyson for free. An honest repairman. What a find. If I actually needed to have an appliance fixed, I'd be comfortable going to Mike any day. read more
