Advertised price on their website WITHOUT the BS "$5000 market correction"
    Mass A.

Price gouging is all the rage these days with some dealers deciding to take advantage of the chip shortage by charging thousands over MSRP. Metrowest is one such disgusting dealer. We inquired online about a Subaru Wilderness, made an appointment, and drove an hour for a test drive. The vehicle was advertised on their website and Autotrader for $40,888, which is the MSRP. When we arrived there was a hand written note that read "Market Correction +$5000 $45,888." You have every right to sell your vehicles for thousands over MSRP and fleece your loyal customers. But guess what Metrowest? You DONT have the right to advertise one price which will not be honored in person. I'm sending a letter and photos to the states Consumer Affairs Office and lodging a formal complaint. I'm also writing Subaru directly to let them know they've lost a lifelong customer. Disgusting.

It ended up being wiring that I had replaced but it still hasn't been completely fixed. The mechanics couldn't figure it out. Fast forward to now December 4, 2025. My car since the weather has turned colder barely starts. I have to literally will it to start lol (which sounds weird to the unknowing but actually works). Note at bottom for how to do this :) I did this in order to get it to start so I could drive to this Autozone before the mechanics. - My friend had checked my battery and it came back low for a newer purchase. I was greeted by Evan who immediately pulled up my account and warranty for my battery, asked if I wanted to replace it. He then said he could run tests to make sure it wasn't the alternator or something else causing the battery to drain. Upon his inspection, and my car then not starting for him, he found that the battery connection was actually loose around the (two circle things? haha) He explained that this needs to be flush in order for a smooth electrical connection. He adjusted it and suddenly it started smoothly. He then suggested adding a small component that makes this circuit more snug so I wouldn't have to worry about it coming loose again. Less than five dollars spent, great conversation with a great person and my car fixed. Thank you so much again Evan! I probably could've said this in shorter review however, anyone who might have a problem starting their car or lights on, it could just be a simple wiring issue or this, so don't panic and assume the worst. If we trust the universe (in advance) to give us what we need and not put more on our plate than we can handle, then thats what we will get. I promise its all about believing then knowing once you see the magic of our minds and the universe. This is what im learning. Xx This location the people are usually very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area. Note: How to get your car to start using your mind and influencing energy: Picture golden white light energy moving front to back through the entire engine "clearing out dense / dark energy" and the rest of the car / tires etc. I do this before I leave my house as well to protect my car and myself while driving. -- If you are into obscure research topics look up the car that was invented that was able to be started/ controlled via the mind/ energy similar to "UFOs".

I made the mistake of dropping off a next-day air package (cost: $58) at the Advance Auto Parts because the nearby UPS Store was closed. The package included Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, and other highly confidential information. The intended recipient notified my three days later that the package never arrived. The tracking code told me that the package was still at Advance Auto Parts. I went there to discover the package randomly sitting on a shelf behind the cashier. I subsequently discovered that it had been opened and taped back shut. I had to issue a credit freeze and notify my financial services providers of possible identity theft. The good news is that the very kind and understanding woman who was working at the UPS Store in Natick around the corner was able to get it shipped out in a new package with a new label without charging me an additional $58. I like the staff at Advance Auto Parts in Natick and don't blame them for this terrible lapse in security. I blame the top management at UPS and Advance Auto Parts for setting up this ridiculous relationship in the first place. But that's why they get paid the big bucks.

Briefly - Bernardi Volvo applied a temporary, non-standard fix (a plug) to a tire with a slow leak,…read morewhich resulted in a costly tire replacement ($300+) less than 3 months later, instead of a standard, permanent patch ($30-50), which would have lasted the life of the tire. More detail:  I was in for service on 5/15 at Bernardi Volvo. They found a nail in the front right tire, and repaired it with a plug.  It developed a slow leak about two weeks ago, so the repair lasted about 2-2.5 months.  I took it in to Sullivan Tire, which is much closer to my house than Natick, and they found that the leak is coming from around the plug. They also informed me that a plug is only a temporary fix - instead, a patch should have been used to perform the repair.  A patch will last the lifespan of the tire, whereas a plug is only ever intended to be temporary.  I had to replace the tire (a $300+ fix) when a $30-$50 patch back in May would have fixed the tire permanently.  I am disappointed that Bernardi Volvo did not recommend a patch to me initially to preserve my tire, and I am also disappointed that when I called Bernardi, they refused to cover the cost of a replacement tire.  I want to trust that the shop I take my car to for repairs will recommend the right fixes, and it is clear that Bernardi Volvo did not do that, nor did they offer to fix the mistake when I spoke with the service manager.

This is an update to the review I wrote last week, with a change from 4 stars to 1 star…read more Yesterday I received a text and an email from someone in the Service Department, asking me to schedule replacement of cat studs, as recommended with last week's service. I asked what she was talking about, as nothing had been recommended, and if I'd known about it, I would have had it done when the car was there. She told me it was in the report that had been given to me. I went through that report, page by page. There's even a section for recommendations, and this was not mentioned anywhere. I told her that. I also told her that 2 of the things that had been done were done incorrectly and I'd had to bring the car back to have those things done correctly. She said she'd speak to the manager and see how they could make things right. This morning she texted to say that my service advisor said he HAD told me about the cat studs, but that it wasn't an emergency to take care of them. A complete lie. So I take back all the great things I'd previously said about him, and would advise against going to Bernardi Honda for any type of service. They are dishonest, and I HATE being lied to. ------------ I drive a 2017 Acura RDX. A few days ago, I received a text from a Bernardi AI Bot named "Pam," telling me I could get $75 off any service or maintenance at Bernardi Honda. I needed a few things done, so I scheduled an appointment for the same day. David was my Service Advisor, and I can't say enough great things about him. A bit of a shmoozer, but extremely nice and informative. As it turned out, the car needed quite a bit more work than I had anticipated, and had to leave the car overnight. They would have been willing to send me to Enterprise in an Uber to provide me with a rental at no charge, but I asked if they could just send me home in an Uber (10 minutes away). They did that, and also had Uber pick me up the next day when the car was ready. So that was a great convenience. Here's what I needed: Scheduled maintenance, 2 new tires with balance and alignment, new windshield wipers (front and back), and it turned out I had an oil leak, so that needed to be repaired. When all was said and done, I paid them nearly $4,000 - but it's okay. I know the dealership will do the work correctly.... or so I thought. Yesterday was my first time going any distance (I had picked up the car the day before). First, the steering wheel was pulling to the left, so something was wonky with the alignment. Second, 10 minutes into my drive, the "Check Emission System" light came on. When I got home, I tried calling David, but it was his day off. He called me back first thing this morning and told me I could return with the car at any time and they would take care of it. I brought the car in this afternoon, and David greeted me as soon as I arrived. I waited in the waiting area, he updated me along the way, and about an hour and a half later, everything was done. The "Check Emission System" light was on because, in replacing the oil pan, they had to loosen the O2 sensor, and hadn't tightened it enough afterwards. They tightened it today. They ran a diagnostic and found the alignment was indeed slightly off, and they fixed that. It was really annoying to me that I would have had to return to have these 2 things fixed. They should have been checked before the car was returned to me. And since they weren't, I had to return. After this experience, I'm not sure I would return to Bernardi Honda for service. The saving grace was David, who would have bent over backwards to make me happy, but the service technicians need to be more thorough.
