In Mid December 2024, we brought our 2020 Audi to Natick Auto Clinic (NAC) because the Check Engine light turned on. NAC charged us around 4 hours of labor to reconnect a wire that goes to a temperature sensor, claiming the wire was chewed by an animal. Once we started driving upon picking up the car - which was supposed to be repaired, we noticed the Check Engine light was still on. We thought NAC must have forgotten to reset the car computer after fixing the broken wire. We weren't worried because NAC told us there is an one year warranty, and we didn't have a chance to go back there immediately due to the holiday season. We didn't plan to use the car much anyway. We brought the car back in January. NAC claimed that it was the same exact wire that was chewed again by an animal, and this time charged us near 2 hours of labor, and changed the wire connector. It is noticeable that they didn't change the wire connector the first time. Their claim about animal chewing the wire is extremely bizarre, because the car has been parked on the driveway of a house in an affluent Boston suburb neighborhood, in December-January where outdoor animal activities are limited due to the cold weather. When we complained about the charge for the second repair - which should be under warranty, they don't recognize that they didn't properly fix the wiring issue the first time. Instead, we were accused of lying about the Check Engine light never being turned off. We are concerned about Natick Auto Clinic's commitment to quality workmanship and honesty in business practice. read more

I've been a patron of Natic Auto Clinic for well over a decade for maintenance and have purchased my last truck from them. I have had nothing short of outstanding service the from the sales department I think his name was Chris, and the owner Ralph was nothing short of awesome to work with. Kevin in the garage seems to be a mechanical genius they are very well versed in all vehicles modern and vintage. they have never failed to solve an issue of mine. I will continue to do business with them for the foreseeable future. read more

Natick Auto Clinic was recommended to me by a co-worker of mine and I'm ever so grateful for the great recommendation. I've been a customer of Natick Auto Clinic for 2 years now and I can't say enough about the high quality work Ralph and the guys provide. They are honest, fast and provide high quality work. They provide a clean, great running loaner car while your car is being fixed. Ralph (owner) has saved me so much money over the years. Many mechanics in his shoes would have taken advantage of customers like me by making us buy unnecessary parts...labor etc. He and the staff always diagnose the problem accurately, honestly and try to save you money while doing so. Which mechanic(s) have you met that try to save you money/time? These guys do! Don't hesitate in bringing your car into Natick Auto Clinic...you'll be happy and relieved you did so. read more

Natick Auto Clinic - Auto Repair Near Me - Natick, Massachusetts

Ralph and his son have worked on several of my cars where he has made many successful repairs. He gives an honest appraisal of the work needed and performs the work in a timely manner, Recently they went to great lengths to find a less expensive option to fix my son's car using creative welding and the car is running perfectly. I plan on returning for any work I need in the future. read more

Honest repair shop that does good work for a fair price? Check. So many things to deal with in life - but car repair is a solved problem. We take our Mazda5 and Xterra to him and there's no reason to visit a lube-only shop or a dealer. Ralph is realistic regarding what work needs to be done and what can be deferred. He has reasonable prices and does the work right. I have used his loaner car on a larger repair but he doesn't usually hold onto the car for more than a few hours. If you're looking for a repair place around Natick/Wellesley then I recommend trying him out once and see what you think. Best case, you'll also check off the box "trustworthy, reliable, affordable mechanic." read more

Ralph is fair and honest and a regular guy making an honest living. He will regularly tell you when you dont need to do something to your car instead of trying to sell you every possible service. He even went to the auto auction for me and purchased the exact car I was shopping for with a modest, transparent mark-up. five stars!! read more

I had moved and needed a new mechanic that I could trust to work on my little old Jetta without adding on work that did not necessarily need to be done. The man assured me he would give me a call after looking over my car and tell me exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. They are VERY FAIR, do not overcharge, will provide you a loaner and do it all in a timely fashion. Because they are so honest and do such a great time I would recommend them to ANYONE. I even asked for recommendations or thoughts from one of the men working there regarding a few of the cars I was considering purchasing as my next vehicle. Instead of upselling me, he told me the brutally honest truth that some have been known to have more problems than others and others are more expensive to repair. I love them!! read more

This is a great place. My wife and I used their loaner car, which is free and makes life SO much easier!!!!!! We dropped our car off thinking that we needed a new Alternator, possibly a new transmission, and also a tune up. Well, Ralph tested everything and we needed absolutely none of that! He fixed small cosmetic problem we had. We thought we were going to walk out of this place with a $250+ bill. We walked out with a $110 bill! That's the least amount of money we've *ever*paid at a (great) mechanic. Oh, Ralph also returns your calls right away. This place is a gem. If you're in the Natick, Wellesley, Newton, or Framingham neighborhood then I strongly recommend using Natick Auto Clinic! In short this is a reliable and honest mechanic who will not rip you off. read more

I am going sev. years back, but when I had a simple mechanical changeover of tires etc, and asked them to do an inspectioni sticker, their shop doesn't have equipment for that. When I came back, my entire dashboard was illuminatiing all warnings...apparently they'd earlier used some sort of metal loc spray over a bolt holding my crank in place. Whoever the mechanic was drove it back from Natick Ctr. with it popping out the bolt/entire crank rod, and just parked it in front of their shop, as if nothing was wrong. I crawled around under the car for parts, but no dice. I should have made them replace the motor, but they denied it "until maybe summer". All in all, this is a chump change operation, and if nothing else, I THINK they got rid of that particular technician a few months later--don't waste your time here folks, unless you want to be buying one of their crap can cars under duress-or going to court (if you do go, hope it does end up in litigation, this place deserves permanent boarding up)!!!! read more

We've been using Natick Auto clinic for years. Ralph is honest, reliable, and considerate and his rates are reasonable. If he can save you money from using rebuilt parts he will give you that option. My father in-law was visiting me, when he lost his power steering. We brought the car to Ralph, and I could not be more satisfied. He repaired the leak that same day at a fair price. He was extremely nice, polite and professional. I am so glad that I found him, as I plan to be back again, should the need arise. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you Ralph! read more

Ralph is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in every way possible. He tells me each time what is wrong, how it (may) have happened, and what the options are to fix it. Easy drop off/pick up and having a Hertz next door makes getting to work after dropping the car off extremely easy. Honest guy doing great work. read more

Ralph is great! He's fixed our PT Cruiser several times, and advised us against costly repairs he didn't feel were worth it due to the age of the car. I trust him, and I highly recommend him. read more

Ralph was excellent... I know nothing about cars but he was very helpful and courteous... I didn't even know they had loaner cars and was planning on taking an Uber to work, but Ralph offered the loaner car without me asking. Everything worked out on schedule and my car was ready for pick up before the close of business. I would definitely use this shop again. A+ service... read more

My son drove his VW car from MN to the Westborough area for an internship. From the moment he arrived his car had 1 problem after another. We chose Natick auto clinic because we liked the reviews and BBB rating. Turned out to be a great choice. Ralph was very helpful to squeeze us in without an appointment. He explained the problems, was fair with his quote and did a great job for us. Great communication. Ralph went above and beyond to help out with several complicating factors, being from out of town. He really knows engines. He gets 5 stars. The VW gets 1 star. read more
