I need a new furdown unit and they were able to find one that would be compatible with my outside unit instead of needing to replace both. Thank you!!!! John Moore said I needed my entire system replaced and gave me a quote of $27,000. Completely absurd. H-Town's work will come in at 1/5 the price. Phew! Thank you Anthony and Billy! Also, I absolutely love that when I call them I get a real person answering the phone instead of an AI robot :))

That level of responsiveness and customer care is rare. Jesus was the technician who came out, and he was exceptional. He was extremely transparent and showed us the capacitor readings beforehand which it was at 0, confirming it was completely dead. After replacing it, he walked us through everything step by step to make sure it was done correctly. We're very picky about who we let work on our home, and Jesus was professional, patient, and thorough. We've owned multiple homes and dealt with our fair share of tradespeople, and H-Town AC & Plumbing is truly at the top. From Mark's quick response to Jesus's excellent workmanship, the entire experience was top-tier. Other companies should model their customer service after them. Highly recommend.

Here's my story of getting scammed by All Clear Plumbing: My pilot light went out on my water…read moreheater. I tried unsuccessfully to light it, up to the point where I no longer could see it sparking. That's how Shelby with All Clear Plumbing and Drain Cleaning ended up paying me a visit. She and her helper spent about 2 minutes in my attic removing the heater jacket from my unit so that should she could get a photo of my serial number. She then came down and told me that my control valve (this unit controls the flow gas into the water heater) had over heated and needed to be replaced for $993.00. (see the attached receipt) I was shocked because I had tried to light the pilot myself and I could smell gas when I tried the light it using the control valve (I just couldn't get the unit to spark, {so I had an idea of what the problem was} before she came) That, In addition to her only being in the attic for about 3 minutes. Shelby spent about a total of 20 minutes at my home and 17 of those minutes was spent reviewing the photos she took and going over the pricing which she emailed to me. Upon seeing the quote I went online and gave the water heater manufacturer my water heater model number and found that the control valve would cost about $225. A quick Google search ( how long does it take to replace a gas control valve on a Bradford white water heater) shows that it takes 1-1.5 hours to replace this unit, so on average it appears that All Clear charges $512.00 per hour. They also gave me a quote to replace the entire unit and told me that it would take about 4 days for my part to arrive. Those were my two options. (When Shelby left my home on a Wednesday she basically was telling me that I would be without hot water for another week- since the weekend was coming) I called the manager and complained about the service, since I knew the control valve was working. I then called A1 Plus Service ("A1 Plus Service" DOES NOT CHARGE ANYTHING TO COME TO YOUR HOME AND PROVIDE A QUOTE) who sent out Michael who went into my attic and spent about 15 minutes for his assessment and taking photos. He told me that water heaters typically only last about 8-12 years, and since my unit was 13 years old, he recommended replacing it. He showed me photos of corrosion building up in areas, and rust in my drip pan, as he including replacing these in my quote. Michael gave me several quotes with various warranty options, including an option to simply light my water heater for $175! Michael told me that he thought there is a 98% chance that he could light the unit. Since I wasn't prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a new unit, I paid to have the unit lit. At this point Michael asked me to join him in the attic which he again pointed out the corrosion and he also showed me an issue with my HVAC which I wasn't aware of. Michael then walked me thought the steps of relighting my water heater, where he was able to light it on the first attempt! Since I knew my pilot light had gone out before and I now needed a little HVAC work. I decided to purchase the service plan Michael told me about, which covered this visit plus electrical, plumbing, and my HVAC for $179.95/ yr. Michael then showed me a moister alarm which he recommended I purchase to alert me of the next time water gets in my drip pan (since it already had rust in it, this alarm would help me keep from having a potential ceiling leak) If you are looking for a zero cost quote from a company who cares... Call A1 Plus Service 832-304-5322! All Clear refused to refund my money and caused me to be without hot water for an additional week!
