Some of their prices would be more expensive than the government liquor stores but I guess the ones they have the tag stating that they are cheaper than government owned liquor stores are really cheaper. They have all sort of selections. The liquor store was super busy on Christmas Eve. We picked up $250 worth of alcohol. I can see their business skyrocketing during the holidays season. They have better hours. The liquor store was very clean. It was very pleasant to walk into. Everything was very neatly organized. Plenty of free parking out infront.

As well as a super cute dog (labradoodle - we later learned is a diva- but still so cute!) We were seated and well taken care of by our server who not only gave us some great suggestions but passionately told us the beautiful story of how the vineyard came to be! (I'll save that surprise and interesting story for you to discover!) We loved the open air patio so much we visited the great gift shop and peaked at the dinner menu that had us booking a reso before we left! We returned that evening for an amazing dinner! We started and shared the charcuterie- lots of great choices even for the one none cheese lover in the group! I had the ceasar salad with some of the best prawns I've ever tasted- they were juicy and garlic flavored- my favorite. My partner had the Ragu and he's still talking about it weeks later! The steak our friend had was perfectly cooked and came with a lot of tasty smashed potatoes and veg- enough he was able to share (yay me!) We were too full for dessert so had more wine instead! Now Lakeland country is awesome for white wines but of all the reds I had in this region, the Pinot here was my favorite! We definitely reccomend the vineyard and Chaos, the restaurant! Can't wait for our next Vernon/ Kelowna adventure!

Not necessarily an enjoyable environment to sip wine and take in the view. I did a wine tasting and got the $15 'friendly' one. It was not great in my opinion. Private parking lot available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I swear everywhere in Kelowna, you have a great view of the lakes. The wife and I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and wanted to start the day off with a wine tasting. We did the introductory tasting and the reserve tasting to get a feel of both wines. The reserve had mostly all reds, while the introductory had a couple of whites sprinkled in. My favorite were the pinot noir and the riesling. Both had nice acidity and was perfect for a hot summer day in the Okanagan. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done for 2 wine tastings was $30 CAD. Not bad with the beautiful views outside. Will be back to try the food!

We went for the "Taste Of Okanagan Experience" which samples from five local sister wineries; a mix of white, red and sparkling from Sandhill, as well as Black Hills Estate, Gray Monk Estate, Red Rooster and Tinhorn Creek. For $25 you get the tiniest of pours from each, which then gives you $10 towards any bottles purchased. Although we've purchased from some of these wineries previously, none that we sampled in the showroom impressed us enough to make us want to buy. Particularly for the prices charged. $50 and up for what is at best a $20 tasting wine. There is a limited food menu if you want to order an actual glass of wine and some snacks, but it is mostly seafood, and again nothing appealed to either of us.

Last-Minute Wine Tasting? No Problem!…read more Stopped by around 4:45 PM, knowing they close at 5, but I still wanted to check the place out. Despite the late arrival, the reception was incredibly welcoming--they even asked if I'd like to do a wine tasting! I mentioned that they were closing soon, but they encouraged me to stay and enjoy since there were still other guests tasting. Even though it was a last-minute visit, I never felt rushed. Instead of quickly pouring whatever was available, they asked what type of tasting I preferred--white, red, or the happy hour selection. A nice touch! Five minutes before closing, they were still welcoming new guests, which made me feel much less guilty about showing up late. The Wine Experience Chardonnay - I'm picky about Chardonnay, but this one was surprisingly buttery and smooth. A great choice for both beginners and experienced wine lovers exploring new Chardonnay profiles. Rosé - A perfect Happy Hour pick! Light, fruity, and refreshing--exactly what I needed to unwind after a long day. Cabernet Merlot - A touch spicy and slightly chewy. If you love Cabernet with good tannins but not too overpowering, this is a great option. Location & Atmosphere Unfortunately, I was too late to try the food, but the location is super convenient--right in downtown with its own parking lot (which is a huge plus for wine tasting in the city!). No stress about parking! If you're with a group, this spot is even better because after wine tasting, you can easily switch things up--there are breweries nearby, so everyone can split off based on their drink preference. I'll definitely be back to try the food and fully experience the chill, hangout vibes. Can't wait for round two!

The tasting staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and do a great job explaining their wines. It's also a great place to spend time with friends and family. That said, I enjoy the restaurant experience here even more. The outdoor seating offers beautiful views and is a wonderful spot to relax with a bottle of wine and good company. While the food isn't the main highlight, it's nice to have dining options while enjoying the scenery. Families will especially appreciate the setup. Kids can play in the beach area, and you can also grab food from the café and have a casual picnic on the grounds. I personally preferred their red wine selection and had a lovely afternoon here with my family. If you're visiting the Okanagan with family, this estate offers one of the best overall experiences in the area, with great views, plenty of space to relax, dining options, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Interestingly, the other half of our group got to try 6 samples each. So I have no idea what was the issue with that guy. Whites - 2016 Bubbly gewurztraminer - 2017 Rose - 2016 Magma white - 2016 Viognier - 2013 Reserve chardonnay - 2016 Lava white blend - this was the only white I liked. A blend of 6 different whites.
