He said, he would handle the service, and a time and date were set. He also quoted me an estimate of 260.00 for service with parts of need be. Day 7 (the day of the appointment): The cooler company called me to tell me they could not make it, I asked why and they said "the got too busy". This was the receptionist again. I asked when we could reschedule for, she replied with "I don't know, we will have to call you when we are less busy". I asked if I could speak with the assistant manager again, she replied "no, he is too busy". I asked if I could just buy the suspected faulty part from them, and do it myself. She said "sure, let me quote you a cost of the part". Her new cost of the part only? 385.00! I would avoid them at all costs, as they are clearly trying to take advantage of the customer. I purchased the part from a local supply house or 80.00, with flat rate shipping.

Super helpful not to have to wait for someone to call me back the next day to schedule. Got a price for the appointment at that time as well. And an immediate confirmation text of the appointment. On Monday morning we received a text message that they were on the way and the very nice technician Bo Holtz showed up on time. He was super helpful, immediately diagnosed the problem. Was super communicative and efficient. I know he was likely so busy too given the heatwave but he didn't rush he was through and provided amazing customer service from start to finish. He also suggested their monthly service plan and explained how that worked without seemingly like an upsell or hard sell. Just more a "hey, we have a great service plan if you're interested"...appreciate that. I also asked about an electric issue that we have been having with our clothes dryer and he was helpful pointing us in the right direction for an additional service tech from Aim High for that fix as well. Final price was exactly what we were quoted. PS sitting here in my cool 67 degree house as I type. Thanks Bo and Aim High!

During an initial visit to evaluate the mechanical systems in my newly purchased home, I was quickly upmatched into their "Elite Membership." This program promises priority routing and discounts on future service calls--yet all of my existing systems are currently working perfectly fine. On that same visit, I agreed to $450 to replace a noisy exhaust fan, only to discover later that my local handyman would have charged $150 total. On subsequent visits, the pattern continued. Their technicians consistently recommend high-priced, major replacements--such as an entirely new water softener system--solely on the basis that my current unit is "old," despite acknowledging that it functions perfectly. You can always count on a push for a major upsell here. While I have yet to experience any ystem breakdown, this deeply embedded corporate sales culture makes it difficult to trust their recommendations. I'll stick with them for now but will be more cautious about accepting their recommendations

Long overdue review. But since it's going to cost money again.. it's fresh on my mind…read more Choosing the lowest bid turned into an expensive mistake. Marty installed our A/C on top of our existing furnace four years ago, and we've dealt with problems ever since: * The furnace venting was installed incorrectly, creating a potentially dangerous exhaust issue. * The heat repeatedly tripped the thermostat circuit during cold weather. After one troubleshooting visit, Marty stopped responding, and we had to hire an electrician to fix it. * The A/C was installed with so little clearance that our water heater can no longer be removed from the utility closet. He measured while here, said it was "fine" - no way it fits in/out of there. Marty promised to come back and fix it but never did. * He also promised to help us obtain an energy rebate, but despite multiple follow-ups, he never responded. We repeatedly notified him about these issues and gave him opportunities to make them right. Instead, we were ignored. Now that our water heater needs replacing, we're facing thousands of dollars in additional costs because it can't be removed without cutting it apart, and we may have to switch to a tankless system simply because of the installation. Saving money upfront wasn't worth the long-term cost.

Matt is by far the best service professional of any kind that I have hired. I researched local HVAC…read morepros for weeks when searching for someone to install a whole home humidifier and called several for quotes. Matt got only gave a competitive price, but was the only one familiar with the Ecobee smart thermostat that I wanted to use to control the humidifier. When I hired Matt, he was extremely prompt, super reliable, and took great care with my installation. My Ecobee thermostat required an extra wire to trigger the humidifier and Matt spent an extra two hours just fishing a wire through my house without having to cut through any walls (which I was very much trying to avoid). It turned out to be a perfect installation and I was extremely impressed with his pride of handiwork. He even refused to bill me for the extra time to fish my new wire because he wanted to stick to his original quote so I wouldn't have an unexpected cost. Plus, on top of all that, he serviced both of my furnaces for free. I don't think it's common to tip service professionals, but needless to say he earned every bit of the tip I gave to compensate for the extra time and attention to detail. Even after the installation Matt was concerned about his customer and followed up with me on how the humidifier was performing. As it turned out, my water pressure was very high and every time the humidifier cycled it would make a big knock through the house. True to character, Matt showed up and installed a device on the water line that quiets the pressure changes as well as some pipe insulation to deaden any residual noise. And then he tried not to charge me! About eight months later we ended up moving for my job and the new home buyer wanted the HVAC certified to be in good order. I reached back out to Matt and asked if he could come by and take a look to certify there were no concerns. He did a full HVAC maintenance of both units and wrote up a letter for me to share with the buyer. And again, tried to say it was no charge. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, honest, and knowledgeable HVAC professional, Matt is your number one choice! He even offered to help me with a virtual consultation after my move if I need it. Honestly, there are a few things I miss after moving out of state and Matt is one of them!

Even DenTech's quoting system (which is all online) was so much clearer and easier to use than the other vendors (who just sent email attachments). The install went great--on time and no issues. I am very pleased with the new system. Matt even followed up multiple times to make sure everything is working as expected.
