I thought it odd that they presented me with a waiver to sign, stating that the repair might not work for me to acknowledge. The front desk clerks spent more time talking to themselves about their weekend activities than interacting with me, the customer. It was completed quickly with a request for me to not do certain things with the car for a period of time. The chip had hardly changed at all! I thought, ok, perhaps it will "cure" or something after the specified time. WRONG! The chip actually got worse than when I brought it in for repair! I've had many of these "super glue" repairs done n the past. ALL took longer than this one and ALL were almost a fully transparent fix. I spoke with my insurance agent who called them. He was told, tough, I had signed the waiver. So insurance companies are paying Venables Glass a couple of hundred dollars for a fix that they force the customer to acknowledge that it might not work? Yes, that is what customers of Venables Glass and their insurance carriers are doing. This company used to have a good reputation when the father ran the company. They say an Apple doesn't fall far from the tree...but it can sure roll a long way! AVOID! Safelight is a great alternative and they come to Madison-Ridgeland!

I recently had my car windows tinted, as well as having several door dings removed. They did an excellent job! A couple of the door dings were in a crease in the body panel, which makes it 10 times more difficult, but they did an excellent job. For the dents that were in the smooth surface, you can't tell that they were ever there. The window tint job came out much better than I expected. I upgraded to the ceramic coated tint, which reduces 90% of the heat, which is great for the summer in the South, especially since my car is black on black. I was surprised at how quickly they completed the job. I thought I was just going to drop it off and pick it up later, but my plans changed and I ended up waiting in their lobby, but I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I expected. I would highly recommend that you give them a call. They may not be the cheapest place in town for tint, but you get what you pay for! I'm more than happy!

Friday night as I was driving down the road, my vehicle began making a very loud rattling noise. I returned home and later discovered that there was oil leaking from the differential and covering the rear axle and frame. I contacted the manager at Take 5 Monday morning and informed him of the issue. He said that he and a mechanic would come to my home and inspect the vehicle. I have been waiting now for over six hours and have yet to hear from him. I just called again and was informed that he was gone for the day. As a result of this, I have had to rent a vehicle for transportation, and will have to get my vehicle checked by a reputable mechanic. Thanks Take 5 for wasting my time and money. My vehicle was dropped off on a Wednesday and remained at the shop until the following Wednesday,…read morewith pickup occurring on Thursday. I was specifically told that I would receive text updates regarding my vehicle on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the entire time my vehicle was at the shop, no one proactively contacted me with an update. I was told that I did not receive an update the first Thursday because the person responsible was out of the office. I did not receive an update that Friday either. I eventually had to call the following Monday myself to ask about the status of my vehicle, at which point I was told that it had been painted. The following Wednesday, I received a call at approximately 4:55 p.m. informing me that my vehicle was ready. This was only five minutes before closing and did not provide adequate time for me to return the call or address any concerns that day. I was also told that I could not inspect my vehicle until after I had paid for the repairs. Upon receiving my vehicle, I discovered numerous issues and damages that were not present when I dropped it off. The interior was covered in a significant amount of dust and residue from the repair process, and the vehicle had clearly not been adequately cleaned before it was returned to me. The amount of residue inside the vehicle was significant enough to aggravate a child's allergies. Additionally, there is still a rattling noise that I specifically brought to the attention of the front desk employee (long reddish hair) on two separate occasions. I also asked before picking up the vehicle whether the rattling issue had been addressed and was under the impression that it had been (Eric). The rattle is still present. There are also numerous issues with the paintwork and other concerns with the condition of my vehicle following the repairs. I am highly dissatisfied with both the quality of the work and the lack of communication throughout this process. I have filed a compliant with the headquarters. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The only person who I encourted at this location that I have a postive review for is the gentleman that drove me home and picked me up when my car was ready. One star is one star too many.
