We've used Firestone for years for all four of our vehicles with no issues. I recently had four new tires installed, and the next day noticed all four rims were scratched and chipped. When I went back, the manager (Joe) repeatedly told me, "We didn't do this," over and over, insisting the damage was old or caused by car washes or curbs. I have never hit a curb in this car. He told me I was the first American to have never hit a curb. Keep in mind this was all 4 rims! Not just 1! The situation escalated quickly. He accused me of trying to "cheat Firestone out of $1000 rims," told me to never come back when I told him that we used Firestone for all of our oil changes and tires etc... said he would make sure he never crossed my path after asking where I worked,(I work in healthcare and had scrubs on ) and ended by telling me, "You need God." The most recent incident occurred 8/1/2020 when I made a 10 AM appointment for an oil change, two new tires, and tire rotation. The front desk guy, I think his name was Brad, called another location to see if they had the tires in stock. I heard him confirm with the person he called that the tires were there and he'd send someone to get them. I left my keys with him and went home. I got a call about 3 PM that I missed. I called back less than 15 minutes later and he said that he'd been trying to reach me (as if he'd been calling me all day). He told me that my tires were not in stock after all. I asked him if the oil had been changed and he said, "no". He asked if I can leave my car overnight. I told him "no" and that I'd worry about the tires later. I arrived shortly after 4 PM and my car still wasn't done. He had the audacity to ask me if I could wait on it. I told him to give me my keys. He apologized multiple times. Apologies is the only thing this company does well. This is the second time (with an appointment) I've left my car there all day only to not have it serviced. I'm normally not a harsh guy, but having yet another Saturday ruined by being without my car all day on top of STILL needing to get my car serviced after everything has left me furious. *** UPDATE 8/11 *** I received a call from a different Brad (manager) and he was very apologetic for what happened. He asked me multiple times to come back and allow them an opportunity to make it up to me. I told them that I didn't have a desire to do it at this time, but I did truly appreciate him making a call back to me. If his employees start to reflect his attitude of getting things right then maybe this place will be okay after all. He also mentioned that he has a new manager at the Jackson location which hopefully helps that spot as well. I decided to increase my rating by 1 star since he was very contrite. A personal touch in customer service goes a long way, so I applaud him for that.

That tire is perfect. Are you that determined to force me to buy a tire?!" "Sorry, it's not me, it's policy" "Policy that you can't show me? That you were told? That you just know?" [stares with a stupid look] As expected I go to another shop, they look at my tire and say "that tire is perfect, we'll take care of you" Fixed it, on the spot, in 20mins, for free...... Before I got work done at Madison Motor Werks, I read all the reviews, and had some concerns from…read morethe small number of bad reviews. I was from out of town, and had barely made it into town to my brother-in-law's place with a badly wounded Audi Q7. The local Audi dealership (which has a month+ backlog of work) doesn't service any car older than a few years (!!!), and there aren't many European auto specialists in the area. We found Madison Motor Werks both by a recommendation and on the web, and had the Q7 flat-bed tow-truck delivered to them, and even with the flat bed it barely held together to get there. It took some miracles to get the parts that we needed and restore the vehicle, and Madison Motor Werks delivered. It took longer to find the necessary parts (the OEM parts were unavailable and who knows how long we would have waited for them), and then it took a while to get them there to Mississippi, but once they arrived, the crew did a pretty quick job getting the Q7 put back together and as "good as new" with respect to the repairs. They probably got tired of me calling to check on progress, but they stuck to their price estimates and got it all done, and done well. They obviously take pride in their work, and while nothing about an Audi is inexpensive, they were fair with their pricing. I saw in some of the other reviews comments about "slow service". I have to admit that their hours / days are limited (e.g. closed for the weekends), but I can't begrudge their workers getting weekends off. I would have liked things to get done faster, but they seemed to be diligent during the business hours, and other than actually finding and getting all the necessary parts (which was a real ordeal!), they were pretty close with all of their estimates. Fortunately, I didn't need a loaner, but I can definitely appreciate that lots of other customers would, so maybe this is something they can add at some point. Lastly, I'd say that they always treated me honestly and with kindness/patience, and I do appreciate how rare that is nowadays, so I'm wishing them the best.

Drove it about 200 miles this weekend and parked on concrete for a change. Happened to see oil on the concrete. Crawled under truck and oil filter was leaking oil. I could turn it using my two fingers. It had never been tightened. Checked dip stick and it was not touching oil. Put a quart in and it was showing full so it had leaked a quart. They better be glad I don't drive this truck much or they'd be buying me a new engine.
