AVOID THIS PLACE! Our reservation that booked months ahead got cancelled one hour prior to our…read morebooked time! No effort trying to find another car at this or other locations. No apologies either! We have to turn to budget and Hertz and be on the wait list for the rest of day. Completely ruined our vacation timeline. Then we found out that on their enterprise website some car is still available with double of the price we book. Are they just cancelling our reservation because they can make more money out of it??? ====== Update: was on the phone with customer service for 3 hours. And found out that there's car available for booking, but when we told them the confirmation number they told us that those cars but those are "reserved" for other clients. In the end we paid extra for budget rentals, which probably should've done that at the beginning. Never again Enterprise!

Unprofessional staff. Young woman/teenage girl answers the phone with an attitude and doesn't have…read morethe maturity, professionalism, or skills to manage customer interactions. She speaks to the floor not into the phone and she mumbles - her voicemail message was unintelligible and it didn't get better in a live conversation. Have encountered her twice - first time she hung up on me after mumbling something about "craziness" when I told her I could not hear or understand her. Then, she refused to answer when I called back. On a second day, she was rude, one word answers and, after I asked her name, curt "What do you need from Enterprise?" She seems to feel entitled to be rude and her social & business skills are atrocious. If I was her manager, she'd be fired by now. I'm not sure her attitude makes coaching possible. I was unable to complete my transaction due to her lack of professionalism and had my reservation switched to another Enterprise location. I have also filed two complaints with the corporate office.

They billed my insurance company for 13 days rather than the 9 days I had the rental, which is…read morefraud. I have used this Enterprise Rent-A-Car twice now when my car was at the body shop. The first time I used them, I was given a rental of a comparable level to my car, so I assumed that would be the same this time, but it wasn't. Not only that, I was given a dirty car. She claimed the marks were from snow. Snow is water, and this was salt, as they did not wash it properly. The salt stains would have come off if it had gone through a car wash. The tire rims were rusting as the salt was not properly removed from the vehicle that came from the north. The seats and windows were dirty too. It is disappointing that there are no standards to keep anymore at this Enterprise. Usually, rentals I have had in the past came with a full tank of gas, and this was at a quarter of a tank. There was an issue with the billing, too. It was not set up to go through the insurance, and they had me as self-pay. I think that is why I got the worst car on the lot. She even commented on that she would have brought a better car otherwise. I'm not sure who was at fault for the billing issue, but I got it corrected. Why didn't they just call and ask what type of vehicle would meet my needs during the repairs? The Lois Lane Customer Service is nonexistent. I did request another car, but I never heard back from them, even though I was told I'd hear back within regular business hours. Thankfully, my car was ready 4 days early, and I was glad to get my vehicle back and get rid of the rental. If I need another rental, I will see what other options are available with other rental companies. The problem seems to be just this Enterprise location.

I was totally stuck in Raleigh after my car was stolen from a Hotel…read more I was only visiting for two days and wasn't prepared for this type of situation. I tried to rent from Hertz first, but they will only rent if you have a major credit card with you. I didn't bring mine with me. I was only visiting 2 hours away and wasn't planning to make any major purchases. Then I looked online for a company that took either cash or debit cards. My only goal was to get home. I found http://www.yesucanrentacar.com. In my mind, I thought there must be a catch since their prices seemed lower than Hertz even though they took cash as an option. When I arrived, the Front Desk Agent was rude and is totally lacking in Customer Service. It was all about him. This was a sign for me to leave, but once again I was stuck in Raleigh and just wanted to get home. I completed the paperwork and gave him my money, even though he said the only thing available was starting at $55 per day SUV's. Everything else was either at the same price or higher. They didn't have any compact or midsize cars on their lot, only 1 Lincoln Towncar, a couple of SUV's and Van's. Nothing like their website advertises. The guy said that you have to prepay in order to get a small car reserved for you. I bet you do! Nonetheless, I rented the $55 SUV (Jeep Compass with 90,000 miles) and out of pocket I had to pay $213.29, which included a $150 deposit. The rest was for the car. Ripoff! I was desperate and wasn't thinking clearly. I drove off in the car and even came back once because the gears weren't switching right. But of course, the Front Desk Guy said it was working properly. I tried to make it work, even tried to find a solution for the "stink" that came from inside the suv. It smelled like funk on top of funk. It was awful. I kept my nose pinched while I was driving in an effort to try to make it home. I just couldn't do it, and the Jeep just didn't sound like it was going to make it all the way. I returned the Jeep and asked for my money back. The Front Desk Guy stated that I wasn't eligible. He said I signed a contract. Keep in mind that this all happened within 30 minutes or so. Then I told him that I just signed this with you less than 30 minutes or so, and I want my money back. I told him the condition of the car is bad, and he doesn't have any other viable options. He refused to give me my money back. Earlier he said he was a "Partner" in the business that started in February 2013 or so, but he said he needed to call the Owner to see if she will give me my money back. He said the only thing I was able to get back was the $150 deposit. Then when he talked to her a few times because I kept asking for my money back, she agreed to give me $150 deposit plus $25 back. This was all she was willing to give back out of $213.29. I cried like I've never cried before. I explained that you know I am stuck and my car was taken, how can you treat me in this manner. Please do the right thing. They still refused to. Then they tried to offer to take me to the other location that was 20 minutes away to get another car. Then I talked to the Owner, Rhonda, who showed no compassion for my situation. She said she would only give me $25 back plus the $150 deposit. This whole situation took at least 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Finally, I agreed to take one of the oversized cars on the lot, so I could get back home. Then they started trying to find reasons not to rent to me, i.e. let's try to make sure we contact each and every of the 7 references she listed. Let's make sure everything is verified. Keep in mind they have already given me a car and when I returned it and asked for a refund, which they refused to give me, I agree to their terms, and now they are trying to find reasons not to let me rent the other car. I had enough and I called the police. While on the phone with the police, they decided to do the right thing and give me my money back. My advice is to avoid this company! Do not do business with people who treat customers in this manner. Do your research first. Stick with reputable companies. Good luck!

After…read moreexperiencing a fender bender here in the great south with wildlife amongst us, AAA Insurance scheduled me for a Priority Pass Appointment on a Monday morning. I was initially scheduled for a pick up from John's collision office but the owner knew how busy enterprise was and decided to drive me and another customer over. Susan assisted me and reviewed what models were in stock. I initially requested a Nissan Sentra or Dodge Charger Sedan. I also confirmed with her that I wanted to stay within my policy's daily allowance. She showed me a 2023 Mazda CX5. I found the vehicle too large for my needs and asked to see other options. I decided on a electric blue 2021 Ford Ecosport Compact SUV. I love a fuel efficient vehicle, so this was perfect for my needs. The car smelled new, did not have cigarette odor and the interior was spotless. I enjoyed the keyless entry, Automatic engine shut off, cap free gas tank, comfortable stain free seats, amazing fuel economy where $30 fills up the tank. The collision shop originally promised the repair would be only a few days but I had the car for over a week's time. I am not a fan of FORD but I really enjoyed the EcoSport. When it came time to return the vehicle Josh was wonderful and assisted me with the return. Caesar drove me back over to John's Collision and I was on the road again. The customer service at Enterprise is unmatched. I will definitely return for my rental car needs. Prices are affordable and the selection of vehicles was spot on for me.
