I asked to have a repairmen sent out, thinking it would be the next day. She asked a few questions about the HVAC system, age, etc. and said, "We can't get anyone out there today but we can probably fix the problem over the phone." After assuring me that if we couldn't, she would send someone the next morning, she spent over half an hour walking me through a few checks and procedures and we got the system up and running. So something I thought was going to cost a few hundred dollars or more, cost me nothing, because she wanted to save us a very cold night and the possibility of pipes freezing. Wow! A company that shows incredible integrity and professionalism, and really seems to care about the people they serve! We had a water leak in my twelve year old 96% efficient Amana furnace and I placed a call to Davey. Dorothy was very courteous sent out her son Junior to look at what was going on. He told me he was going to condemn my furnace though there was no signs of aerial contamination. I told him I'll go out and buy two expensive meters and they both showed ZERO contamination! Ok, Junior then said the furnace would be covered under replacement warranty as the heat exchanger was cracked. He talked to the local dispatcher and they had a unit in stock. I was then told by Junior that it would cost me THIRTY FIVE HUNDRED to get the job done. I was flabbergasted at the price! This was for labor! Unbelievable! Ok it was winter and cold temps needed to be handled so I told him let's do it. Junior returned and started installing all the while informing me that it would cost me another EIGHT HUNDRED! I told him no way! Mind you, my old unit was removed and brought downtown. He called his office and they backed off on the additional eight hundred. I left Junior alone and he put together the new furnace and installed it! It was not straight, not plumbed and he left after the furnace was running. I called Dorothy and COMPLAINED! She sent Senior out and he straightened things out. The inspector came by and failed the inspection. Senior came out again and touched up all the work. Senior had to come by a third time to rewire the condensate pump... to code! That final time he came, I could tell he was PO'ed at returning and never said a darn word to me. No respect at all! Bottom line, I was ripped off to high heaven. Thirty five hundred... for the work done? Maybe they get this from other uneducated customers but the unit was under warranty, the whole installation with labor should have cost me $2000 at MOST! I found an unbelievably reputable HVAC and they have so far treated me with respect and professionalism especially when it comes to pricing and top notch customer service. Just had to share this with potential customers here in the area.

I did not feel any pressure to accept it quickly but I eventually did since it was the best. Scheduling installation was fast and easy. On install day Eldar arrived for the installation. He noted that my water shutoff likely needed to be replaced. Once he explained why, I had him replace the valve. Throughout the process, Eldar did a great job of answering my questions. I never felt like there was any attempt to upsell or get me to buy extra services/products. Eldar was very polite, friendly and was a great representative of Speed Plumbing. Customer service is the most important thing I look for when hiring any company. It helps when their pricing is the best. I am so glad I had him (and Emergency Rescue Plumbing) come out to look, because he was able to help guide me to a decision regarding fixing versus repairing, and actually listened to the troubleshooting I had done so far to narrow down the issue. As part of this, Rob did such a great job explaining *everything* to me, in terms that I could easily understand. By the time he left, I knew all of the major components in a water heater, and what exactly could fail, as well as the cost for installing a new one, and the additional implications on being up to code, and how that plays into everything (like whether or not I'd have to install an expansion tank). I haven't needed to do the repair or install yet, but I will certainly use Emergency Rescue Plumbing when it comes time to do so.

Water heater doctor came in and replaced it with an identical water heater. Part of why we chose them was that they preferred that brand (Bradford White). Installed competently with lots of double checking and explanations of everything. They resisted *my* suggestions for upselling, explaining why that was not needed. Our new heater now makes the water hotter, for a lower setting on the gas. Fantastic experience, we are very happy!

He arrived promptly around the times I was told by text message in the morning beforehand. Hero Plumbing replaced a broken spigot and added an additional spigot to our back yard, which had none. Although I had another estimate that was slightly less, I went with Hero because they listened to my description of what I needed and came up with a workable solution for the back yard (since I only need the back spigot during summer they were able to perform a less costly installation off my existing sprinkler supply pipe rather than run a new line through the house). Michael also pointed out there were leaves in the wall near where the leaking spigot was replaced. This helped me figure out that there was a hole in the wall near the spigot, hidden behind my electrical conduit, which is what let cold air in to damage my freeze resistant spigot. The new spigot is a high quality freeze resistant style as well, but I'll get the hole filled in before cold weather comes back. I'm happy that the work done was done in a timely manner and was tested thoroughly afterward. There was a small leak due to a defective part in the added spigot, but Michael was able to get a new part quickly and rebuild the new section of piping. Now everything is working great.
