Good car wash. I like the option of using plastic for the do-it-yourself bays. I wish they had a brushless option for the automatic drive-through area. The other one in town that does brushless sucks... Does seem expensive to me. Compared to Portland..But, there is no competition really in this town to lower the price. Be nice if they offered a punchcard system for a free one after so many read more

I did the $10 wash. It didn't get all the dirt or bugs off. Left dirt and spots on my windows. And it didn't even wash some places at all !! Very disappointed and it wasn't worth $10!!!!!!! Quality and value are not a part of this car wash!!!!! read more

This is one of the worst car washes I've ever had the misfortune of using. It's old, run down, and useless. The automatic wash does not clean and is a waste of money. It's the first time I've encountered vacuums that are not free! On top of everything there are no trash cans!!! Even gas stations still have trash cans. It's absolutely ridiculous. The owner must not have even graduated high school with how poorly ran this car wash is! I would recommend driving through a mud puddle to clean your car over coming here. read more

Good job getting my car clean...and I got the $10 wash! I'd go back! There was a line when I drove up, but it went quickly. Attendants were helpful and friendly. read more

Have been going here for YEARS with no problems, but every business owner should realize that it only takes one bad experience to lose a customer. I did the same 10 dollar wash on my Lincoln and the top trunk and hood were still dirty. I brought it to their attention (politely) not being a Karen. The manager on duty offered no solution and blamed the clear oat. I went to the self serve and finished washing and drying my car. A customer will tell 1 person about a good experience at a business but will tell 10 about a bad experience. I'll be the latter read more

I just left this car wash. My car is absolutely filthy. If possible, worse than when I went in. WTH? Get your equipment fixed or give it up. Absolute trash of a car wash. read more

This 1995 feeling carwash is not where its at. Owner (or perceived owner) yells at customers, thinks he's right about everything and doesn't care what you have to say. If you are wanting to use these services you may have to pull your car through 3 times to get it efficiently washed. Word to the wise to this owner, if you are going to be an emotional wreck, don't be in customer service, you also need to update your equipment and bring more value to your customers. You should be focusing to serve the community with respect, not anger. The only positive thing I have to say is, one of the gentlemen working there consistently (don't know his name) has been always friendly and nice, so thank you sir for that. I will be taking my business elsewhere, the standards need to be higher in general in this area. read more

it is ok I guess. Not like the car washes in the south east. I think it is the hard water. It leaves water spots bad.

Always dirty stalls and the staff is always rude to you. Most of the settings on the machines are not right and you can't read the count down timer because of film on the machine. Attendants won't come to the door because they are afraid they might have to deal with their incompetence. The owner just needs to realize money isn't everything and start treating his business customers better to keep them coming back happy. It's all about the cash here. Avoid at all cost and save yourself a headache or even damage to your car. I had to rate it at one because there isn't anything lower read more

On vacation with our new SUV. The service manager at Nissan recommended Metro Car wash, and said they do a great job. Well our Armada was in need of a bath, and boy did they do a good job! Three young guys greet you and give your car a really good prewash blast to dislodge bugs and grit, then you travel through the tunnel and receive powerful jets of soap, wax, wheel cleaner and tire shine. Very pleased with the wash and the staff. Very good to see teenage guys working so diligently and enjoying their work. I will return when along this way. read more

Metro Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - The Dalles, Oregon

Just went through the car wash and was yelled at by a manager for throwing garbage away. The manager was so rude he kicked me out of the line and then told me I couldn't get my car washed. All the manager had to do was tell me that I wasn't allowed to throw things away there and I would've just picked it up. Which I did before I left. This is the second time we've had a problem there. My wife was also yelled at by the same manager about seven months ago for having to dirty of a car read more

Can't even throw garbage away when using the vacuum. They actually sealed up the garbage containers, I'll go elsewhere & frankly it looks like everyone else has as well. read more

Quit use drive thru car is just as dirty for 20$ after going through as if I just pressure washed it.then I ruined a $500 throw down rug in the house because one of the stalls had grease in it and I did not realize it walked it through the house stalls are not very well taken care of and most of the time they won't take your card do you have to use cash wash hands do a poor job pre-washing your car before the drive-through recommend hand washing your car yourself read more

Owner is a complete a**hole! Screams at customers all the time - should not be in customer service. Prices are extremely high for an average wash, half the time the sprayers are clogged. Self cleaning stations are dirty, card readers don't work. They also say "insert coins or tokens" - they don't take tokens. I put five in - nothing - and went to let the wash attendent know - didn't refund my tokens just said "it didn't work because they don't take tokens"... didn't help at all actually. Any rate, 1/5. read more

Half the settings don't work. No wax. Spotless setting didn't work. This place is Pathetic! I'll never go there again.

This place has to be flying under the radar ... tax law, employment law, maybe both! The same 12-year-old boys appear to be working every time I've gone. They look like brothers, so I'm guessing they are unpaid family members relying on the tips they solicit. Card reader is always "broken." Gee, could this be a cash-only gig for someone? It's very odd. Just a hinky feeling about the place. I would go elsewhere. There is a nice self service wash in The Heights in Hood River with brand-new equipment. read more

Amazing service!! I did a road trip up to the Dalles, and my car was covered in bird poo.. But when I got to this car wash they made sure to pressure wash it all off before getting into the car wash. They did a great job! read more

IF DRIVING THRU THE DALLES Busy today (Memorial day) gets the job done and conveniently and located.

This car wash is good quality. It's long enough to be worth you money and they guys at the front entrance pay good attention to your car. Friendly crew and they deserve some good tips! I'm glad The Dalles has a good quality car wash. I do wish it wasn't wayyyyy on the end of town, but it's still the worth the extra couple miles. I didn't give them 5 stars because that's reserved for Costco car wash. No one compares to Costco. read more

Left my car dirty, when I told the nasty, teenaged attendant, he became angry, yelled and threatened to call the police on me. Said "This is like McDonalds, you take what you get. Refused to rewash or refund my money. Creepy way to treat a middle aged woman. Very combative and rude. It was a simple problem that could have been delt with easily but instead turned ugly. read more

Have owned three car washes in my life. One of which was a self service one like this one. I actually put soap in mine. It's not all that expensive when you consider how many customers you are losing by continuing to STEAL from them! At the very least I am pissed, at the very most I just feel ripped off. I will be in contact. This is deplorable. read more

I was YELLED at for not pulling forward.... never been so disrespected. Then when I pulled up they AGAIN yelled at me for not coming sooner?! I'm honestly so taken aback I cannot believe how terribly I was treated. read more

Worst car wash in the dalles machines don't work they scratch up ur paint. Also they are very rude wouldn't recommend.

I paid for the most expensive wash and I still had tons of bugs on my windshield and on the front of my truck. This car wash really is bad. I will not be returning here. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. The attendant asked me which wash I wanted. I asked him the options. He proceeded to chew me out for having been in line and not having made a choice yet as it was holding up other customers. After 30 or so seconds chastising me I tried to ask him what were the options again. Again, he proceeded to tell me that I was holding up the line for other customers. Finally, I just picked one. Hi pointed out that I didn't appreciate him using the Lords name in Vain. He went into another rant about free speech. I certainly would have left if I could but there were 5 cars behind me. I finally just rolled up my window as he wasn't stopping from berating me about free speech. After ignoring him for 30 seconds he finally charged my card. I will never return. read more

Was not happy with this place. I got the ten dollar wash and gave him a twenty. He took it and said that my sky light was open so we messed around getting it closed so we thought. Guess with that distraction we forgot about the ten dollars change. So my car is moving thru and I have to roll the window up. Half way through water is dumping on me. It wasn't closed. I was lucky to have a blanket in the car. My car didn't really get that clean. Was so angry I was half way home before I realized I didn't get my change. Won't be back can do better my self in my driveway. read more

Love this car wash owner is super awesome !!! Very professional and very friendly is the staff.:. Best car wash in town

The car wash ripped the antenna off my car and then they told me my car had gone in without it they were so rude and so unprofessional no communication between coworkers I had to keep going back and wasting gas just to get an answer and speak with the manager and they still didn't fixed it I can just say I will never go back to this car wash read more

I went here today and tried to purchase the basic car wash and was told I would need to pay more because my car had mud on it, then when I finally agreed to pay more the 19 year old kid told me I should feel lucky that he is even going to allow me to go through the automated car wash and that he did not make me go out and wash it myself first before bringing it into the automated one.....?!?!? then after getting my change he came back to my window and muttered something, so I asked what he said and he told me, I should be at home washing my my car myself and that it is because of people like me coming there which is why he can't be sitting at home collecting an unemployment check right now like everyone else, I told him he was quite the smartass, so then he proceeded to ask me if I wanted to get out of my truck he would "handle me" right now or I could come back at 4PM when he gets of work and meet him in the parking lot and he would "Show me what's up" I responded that I am half tempted to do so with the way he is talking and acting, he then asked me how old I was and then responded that he is 19 years old and that someone my age better not take him up on his offer because they might not like how they get "handled by him". What a trash hole this place it. Great Employees people, trying to turn customers away to get an excuse to be lazy and collect unemployment. read more

The owner of this business also owns a car wash in Hood River. He totally neglects the one in Hood River. Always problems & no one to call in an emergency ex: will not work after payment accepted, or a little note that says "no credit cards & correct change only" on a post-it note so small you wait in line & can only read it when you are ready to insert money for a wash. Only a twenty dollar bill? sorry! This owner needs some good competition in this town! read more

This car wash is always closed when you need it the most. Anytime the temperature is near 32 degrees or below, they close up. I lived in the Midwest for 9 years and car washes were always open, regardless of how low the temperature got. read more
