I recently…read moreswitched from T-Mobile to Verizon less than a month ago and purchased my cell phone online, which I picked up at the Rockville Center location. During the in-store pickup, I also bought three additional devices: two watches and another phone. One phone and one watch were shipped to my daughter, who attends school in Virginia. Shortly afterward, I learned about a promotional offer for an iPad, available within 30 days of purchase. I attempted to order the iPad online to be shipped to my daughter at her university. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete the purchase, so my daughter placed the order herself online. Despite our efforts, the device never arrived after a week. Then, I was asked to upload my ID and a selfie for verification, which I promptly did. However, just hours later, all services for both phones and the watches were turned off--without any prior warning or explanation. When I called Verizon's 611 for help, I was redirected to the fraud department. When transferred, I couldn't proceed because my service was disabled. After waiting over an hour for a fraud representative, I finally reached an agent, provided all my verifiable information, and minutes later, the call was disconnected. No one called back, emailed, or provided any updates. In a desperate attempt to resolve the issue, I added my older child to the account so they could speak on my behalf. Despite this, 12 hours later, I remain without service, as does my daughter in Virginia, leaving her disconnected from home and vulnerable. This is unacceptable customer service. I have to drive 13 miles to the store just to plead for help. I can't contact Verizon directly due to the lack of service on my phone, which I rely on for work after hours. The inability to reach the fraud department except by calling is highly problematic. I am a brand new customer experiencing a nightmare start with Verizon, and I am seeking proper assistance and compensation for this unnecessary hardship. My cell number is 347-628-3701. I dropped off the phone and waited in my car. 15 minutes later, repair done. I purchased a new case with my discount and left completely happy. I love it when all things run smoothly.

Five stars for an AT&T Store? It's surprising to me, too. Don't get me wrong it's not like you get…read morea free massage and coffee while you wait (wouldn't that be awesome?), and you sometimes can have a bit of a wait since there's only one employee working in here at a time, but both employees (AJ & Zane) I've had the chance to interact with recently, and both really delivered above and beyond. The five stars is really in comparison to other AT&T stores (the only place to fairly judge a chain/franchise in my opinion). What brought us into the AT&T Store was an upgrade program. Both my wife and I were due for new phones, and AT&T was running a deal too good to pass up. We headed inside on a weekend and were greeted by AJ. AJ discussed the options with us, including pricing, and offered some balanced, personalized recommendations for devices to select. He also discussed the options to purchase and trade-in, even offering some suggestions to minimize hassle and time spent in the store. In the end, he made some solid recommendations! What I also liked about AJ was the fact that he reviewed our monthly bill to try to discuss how we can save on our current plan. In the end I really felt like he was looking out for us. The option we selected for the trade-in process was to have the items shipped directly to our home. Within 3 business days (at a specified time), we had the equivalent of a mobile AT&T store (an AT&T employee in a vehicle with accessories to purchase on hand) pull up to our home right on schedule. The employee confirmed our info and helped us set up our new phones. We mentioned we wanted to double-check that everything was transferred before giving up our old phones. Overall the whole process was smooth and simple, taking up to 30 minutes. Our next store visit introduced us to Zane. We headed in and handed in our old phones, and the process took about 5 minutes. Zane also helped get us set up with some screen protectors, and he even offered to place the protectors on our new phones for us. One protector (worth $50 by the way) had some dust on it after it was installed. Without hesitating, Zane took off the protector, threw it out, and installed a new one free of charge. He also mentioned the free warranty program. Basically if the screen protector ever cracks or breaks, we just bring it back to the store with the original box and get a new one for free. Personally what impressed me most, though, was not how Zane attended to us but how he attended to another customer. An older gentleman was furiously taking down notes about how to use his iPhone. He joked that he's in here every week to learn how to use his phone. Zane was taking the time to show him all the basics. To me, that's exemplary service that deserves to get recognized. The store itself is small and limited in what's available to take home that day (a lot needs to be ordered/shipped), but it's also in a convenient location in Rockville Centre. They also were following all the safety protocols with plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. For us, the process of dealing with this store was efficient, positive, and hassle-free. We'll definitely be back in the future.

They automatically added it to the receipt which they wouldn't even give me until I asked on my way out. Went to return a few weeks later and they wouldn't accept return. Associate picked out the most expensive cover and added it to my receipt without asking. Beware and don't let them rip you off like they ripped me off. Do not shop here.

Not only was the work done quickly and correctly, but I was treated professionally and given a fair price. Earlier in the day a different cell phone repair store tried to charge me significantly more and pressure me into an additional repair I did not need. I will certainly be returning to V&V wireless in the future for my cell phone repair needs.
