Even though I had a home inspection report he did not include that into the estimate of the home. Even after an e-mail request I never got the perimeter dimensions of the home, individual rooms or other questions. He did not giver proper feedback when he took the measurements which was less than 30 minutes. When an appraiser from the bank came in he quoted $15K less. Closer to my own estimate. I feel he could have done a better job and returned my emails.

We made many phone calls over a few days to this office, they were professional, pleasant and exceptionally patient and accommodated our requests during a very busy season. In addition, we found Mark Sova's final report to be thorough, complete, supported with up-to-date comps, pics, numbers, historical data, and relevant information we provided. The price was fair and about the same as I paid 10 or 15 years ago, the turnaround was as promised. We are more than satisfied. I have found it is always a wise decision to obtain a drive-by-appraisal of your home before you hire a selling agent who has a strong interest in selling your home fast, yes? It is money well spent and allows you to negotiate from a less emotional Fair Market Value position, who can argue with that? This is a family run business with that old-fashioned, caring personal touch, they care about their customers and know their business.  (How refreshing is that in todays world?) I was pretty excited about this, as I like the design. With expedited shipping and product pricing, it came out to about $70. I thought this was a bit too expensive but I pulled the trigger anyway. After five days of waiting, the package was finally delivered. When I opened it, it was the wrong item. I thought, mistakes do happen and they'll fix it. I messaged them and got the generic scripted response. They told me to submit a return and order a new one. What they want you to do is submit a second payment for the replacement. That means they have two payments and we have nothing. I spent an hour arguing with someone over email. Keep this in mind, they don't have a number you can call, it's all through email. I argued and argued with them. They made the mistake, I shouldn't have to suffer for their mistakes. Finally they decide to send me a replacement without a second payment. Now I have to wait another week to get the replacement. I open the replacement up, the product was damaged. It may have even been used. The nylon was burnt and the metal all scratched up. It looked like someone's damaged return. Highly annoyed this time, I contact Trayvax again and get the same canned response. They expected me to make a second payment again, seemingly forgetting about the previous conversation. So I again have to submit a return. Meanwhile, I have to drive these to have them ship out. Finally after twenty four hours, they submit a new order. What do I find, they choose the slowest shipping available. It's just a kick in the face. It seems they truly don't care about their customers or making things right. For such a small company, they really have poor business practices. Terrible quality control. They made me feel unimportant. I would recommend not doing business with them, I know I won't be anymore. This is coming from someone who's had many of their products over the years. Sad!
