When I went to the pharmacy, they told me he's old and grumpy but "loves his job" and to try again. I texted twice. Nothing. Don't put your number on your voicemail if you aren't actually going to help patients. Fail.

We made many phone calls over a few days to this office, they were professional, pleasant and exceptionally patient and accommodated our requests during a very busy season. In addition, we found Mark Sova's final report to be thorough, complete, supported with up-to-date comps, pics, numbers, historical data, and relevant information we provided. The price was fair and about the same as I paid 10 or 15 years ago, the turnaround was as promised. We are more than satisfied. I have found it is always a wise decision to obtain a drive-by-appraisal of your home before you hire a selling agent who has a strong interest in selling your home fast, yes? It is money well spent and allows you to negotiate from a less emotional Fair Market Value position, who can argue with that? This is a family run business with that old-fashioned, caring personal touch, they care about their customers and know their business.  (How refreshing is that in todays world?) I would use M&C Appraisals services again and would be happy to recommend them personally.

Even though I had a home inspection report he did not include that into the estimate of the home. Even after an e-mail request I never got the perimeter dimensions of the home, individual rooms or other questions. He did not giver proper feedback when he took the measurements which was less than 30 minutes. When an appraiser from the bank came in he quoted $15K less. Closer to my own estimate. I feel he could have done a better job and returned my emails.

At first, I was planning on shipping only one package to Blaine, and I didn't want to have to pay the yearly membership fee that most outfits in Blaine charge. I noticed Diversified Shipping gave you the option of paying a yearly membership fee--great discounted rates if you do, yet reasonable per package rates if you don't. Diversified Shipping Services (DSS) is a newer business, which is why I wasn't able to find many reviews for them on-line, but I did find one written by what seems to be a very reliable blogger, so I decided to give them a try. They are located a short drive past the Pacific Hwy Truck Crossing. DSS was far superior to any other shipping centre I've used! Not to knock shipping services run out of people's homes, but this is a new, large, clean, organized warehouse, and professional, through and through. In addition, I feel like DSS has a high level of customer service, where they treat you professionally, and actually value your business. When you sign up for DSS, you are assigned an account number--I've seen complaints for other shipping services that receive and store packages by name, leading to incidents when persons of the same name receive the wrong package--not so here. You are also given a MyDigitalDoorman account, which allows you to log in and see all a list of all of the packages that you have received by DSS. This is in addition to the traditional email notification that is sent when your package arrives. Another bonus is that they are open until 6 p.m. during the weekdays, and 3 p.m. on Saturdays (I would check their website just to make sure this information is still current). I've now used their services more than once and to receive several packages, so I ended up signing up for the yearly membership fee. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this company!
