Almost costing me the house. When asked to review or question her comparables she was a real hard ass and gave a flat no without an explanation. I will never be a client of hers again and I vow to spread the word about her not being a very understanding person. Someone who is not willing to review their work when asked.

She's been a real estate appraiser for a number of years and clearly knows what she is doing. I especially appreciated that Molly had previous experience with back-dated Estate appraisals, which is the type of appraisal we had done. The appraisal Molly created for us was thorough and beautifully put together. Molly was a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend her!

I paid…read more$700 for a private appraisal and it seemed from the beginning that Heidi was going to rush and did a poor quality job, possibly due to the request not being requested by a bank by just by myself personally. She also sited, "...our appraisal software company is having server issues due to a cyber attack." I can be understanding of delays due to such issues, but feel that she took advantage of the situation and delivered a poor quality appraisal report. Here's a few notes: 1.) She verbally mentioned skipping steps in the appraisal due to not being required by a bank (such as water heater details, etc.). 2.) She used comps from a completely different town and market despite there being comps in the same neighborhood. 3.) She used a different methodology than the other three prior appraisers. What I will say to be fair is that she communicated professionally and was timely (other than the unexpected delay that she communicated about - which i'm guessing made her backed up on work and why she clearly rushed mine), which is why I am giving a 2/5 star review. She also only charged $700 whereas the past other appraisers charged $900. However, the quality of the work wasn't even worth $100, it was clearly sloppy with more than a few typos and errors (that were never corrected). If I could do it again I'd hire someone else and happily pay a few hundred more to have a report done well and on time vs. one that's full of errors and other issues.
