Junkaway llc, owned by Maksim Chernomorets Email is chermax57@gmail.com They are an unlicensed hauler with no UTC hauling permit and no contractor's insurance. It has been canceled by the UTC. They are advertising their address as a PO box. They have been fined by the state of Washington for contractor fraud $1200. They are using fake photos of 3 other companies with the name Junk Away, so they can piggyback their photos in order to rank higher on Google algorithms and searches. They are using fraudulent advertising and tactics in order to show up higher in rankings. Several reviewers have called them out, but they reply with false information. They have been reported to 3 Washington State departments, including the Washington State Attorney General. The Washington State Attorney General sent them a letter, but Junkaway ignored the letter and did not reply. "To help clarify how severe this situation is, here is the concise timeline of how this business has bypassed state laws and is now manipulating Google's platform to cover it up:" Timeline of Events: Investigation and Violations for Junkaway (Bellingham, WA) Approximately 2 Years Ago: The business entity legally registers in Washington State under the name "Junkaway". UBI #605-579-106. They immediately begin illegally advertising on Google Maps as "Junk Away, LLC"--knowingly infringing upon the trademark and name of an established, completely unrelated company based out of Lakewood, WA. Ongoing (Past 2 Years): The business falsely advertises "over 10 years of experience" across its digital platforms and Google Profile description to mislead consumers regarding its history and stability. Recent 2 years ago: The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) catches the business committing contractor fraud, resulting in a formal state fine of $1200. Concurrently, the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) opens an active investigation into the business for operating a commercial solid waste and junk hauling operation without the mandatory state-issued hauling permit. Junkaway receives a very lenient 30 days to apply for a UTC hauling permit. They were assigned a permit, but immediately cancels it. Now they are unpermitted, but are aggressively advertising their business on Google Maps, Yelp, Instagram, and other online platforms including their website. They are ignoring consumers calling them out for their illegal advertising, including replying with lies about their permit status. Recent Months: Formal consumer protection complaints are escalated and submitted to the Washington State Attorney General's Office regarding public deception, trademark infringement, and illegal operations. Recent Days: Savvy local consumers begin utilizing the Google Maps review section to post warnings to the public highlighting the company's fake P.O. Box address, legal name manipulation, and lack of state permits. Past 7 days: In direct retaliation to the public warnings, the business owners launch a coordinated review manipulation campaign. Multiple fraudulent 5-star reviews are posted in a tight window by personal and professional associates tied directly to the business owners to artificially inflate the score and bury the consumer protection warnings. read more

Junk Away is advertising as a demolition contractor and a junk hauler, but he is not registered nor is he licensed as a contractor. He also doesn't have a hauling permit to haul junk or debris. When we called him about his services, he claimed that he is licensed and insured. After investigating with state agencies, we found out that he is not licensed at all with any divisions. His prices were extremely high also. read more
