We popped in recently to window shop and what was a planned as a quick in and out turned into a solid 20 minute roam around the store. We found a few things that we liked including a great selection of over the shoulder bags, which is what we ended up purchasing. In addition to the clothing, they have a small tailoring/sewing nook up front where they create in house goods, but also can make alterations/repairs to your clothing, whether you bought it from them or not. Service was stellar as well. The fellas on the floor were helpful and friendly from entry to exit. Overall, while a lot of the clothing is not really my vibe, I enjoyed the quality and variety of everything, plus the service and vibes were cool too!

The price was very fair for a rush job and the quality of the work was great, a lot of attention to detail on the measurements, folding and hem. Definitely liked to see IH, Samurai, Momotaro for sale locally in Chicago, very cool to see it all pieces not through photos online. The only downside was the sizing options; larger sizes seemed to be sold out or not available across the board

I asked whether larger sizes were simply out of stock or not ordered at all, and was told they generally only order up to 34". The team is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I've been visiting for years and have watched the space grow. That said, the lack of size inclusivity is disappointing. If you don't care about broader size availability and fall within their range, it may be worth checking out--the shop is well curated in theory. Personally, as someone who isn't thin, I likely will not return to a store that doesn't prioritize size inclusivity.

My favorite things about this store: - The service at this store is very personalized and attentive. The owner (Heidi) and her staff are always pleasant to work with. - The store sells a variety of brands. Some brands can be easily found at some of the other Chicago boutiques and there are also some uncommon brands. In some cases, my husband has bought items in which there were very few produced nationwide. - I like that the prices are fair for the quality. You can easily find a nice button down shirt for $40 here or get nicer ones that are more. - The store also sells other items like candles and personal hygiene type products. - I probably only visit once every 4-6 weeks, but there always seems to be sale clothing racks for both men and women.

They have BEAUTIFUL formals and gowns for all kinds of special occasions. I first came here with my best friend because I needed a dress for a traditional Indian wedding and I had no idea where to begin. Shaheen instantly pulled several options that were gorgeous! My best friend and I had SO much fun looking at all of the stunning gowns that we were ready to buy dresses for events we didn't even have planned yet! Before finding Raaz, I had spent so much time at other dress stores on Devon trying on dresses I didn't feel comfortable in and being told "that looks great on you, you should definitely buy that one". I knew they weren't telling me the truth and just wanted to make a sale. I was feeling totally discouraged before I walked into Raaz, but Shaheen completely changed my experience and I'm so grateful to her for helping me find something I feel beautiful wearing. I've been shopping here for 3 years and have bought dresses for myself, as well as coordinating pieces for my husband. My husband brought his mother here after I had such a great experience and she bought three dresses for events. She was so impressed that I found Raaz and said it was the best dress shop she'd seen on Devon in over 40 years! I typically dread trying on dresses in stores but Raaz is different. Their selection is incredible! I had a hard time choosing just one dress! I can't say enough good things about Raaz and Shaheen is so knowledgeable and has excellent taste. I will be a loyal customer forever and HIGHLY recommend this shop!
