Elissa is an amazing stylist. When I decided to transition from years of dying my hair dark brown to a bright blonde and have my roots be my natural hair, I knew I needed someone great and has a lot of patience because i have a TON of hair. She walked me through the process, and how it would take multiple visits to achieve the color I wanted and due to the amount of hair i have it would take extra time. Because my hair was dyed dark for 5 years we started with a highlight to my root then over the past 6 months she worked to add more highlights to break up the brown. It has been a process breaking through the gold tones in my hair, but after each visit my hair gets brighter and brighter i have grown my natural hair color back in at my roots, gorgeous blonde ends and my hair has never felt healthier. When I first called to get an appointment, Christine made an active effort to get to know me so that she could match me with a stylist who I would work well with. She paired me with Mallery, and I couldn't be more pleased with the match she made. I love method salon. First off the staff is all so friendly and welcoming. From scheduling appointments, greeting you as you arrive to the assistants that help along every step of your appointment. The coffee is great!! The space is modern , clean and a great size. Angela is my stylist for on and off almost 10 years now and I cannot rant and rave more about her. She is a goddess of blondes! She also listens to her clients and gives honest realizations of "Pinterest ideas" and assures you of what is the right step for the look you want to achieve. They also have a great reminder system which is nice when you tend to book appointments far in advance. Lastly- the chairs to get your hair rinsed and washed are very comfortable and the products they use are nice and I always leave smiling. Tiffany is absolutely the best colorist and stylist in town. By far. Having been spoiled by my stylist in Chicago for over 13 years, then having a horrible experience with another local stylist (both in being severely over-charged and poor service), finding Tiffany was a God-send! I have had a lot of hair loss (with already thin hair) after the birth of my three year old daughter, and Tiffany has put hair extensions in my hair and given me back the baby blonde color that I had in Chicago. For the first time in my life, I am getting compliments on my hair!!! She is worth EVERY PENNY. My daughter, Taylor, also comes to Tiffany for her hair, and adores the color and cut she gets every time. Exactly what she wants - not what someone else thinks she should have. I recently had my first appointment at Method Salon with Tim and will definitely be back again and again! The atmosphere of the salon is perfect and everyone I interacted with was helpful and kind. Tim was knowledgeable about different products and had great suggestions for me on which products would work best for my hair type (which has been difficult with previous stylists since it's thick and naturally curly, but I regularly straighten it, too). He was also really helpful during the actual cut-- he listened carefully to what I wanted, asked questions to make sure he understood what I meant, provided ideas when needed, and we talked about some things I might try for my next visit, too. Method Salon is my new favorite Salon in the Indianapolis Area! You feel welcomed and you are able to relax and decompress in their beautiful facility. Complimentary coffee and tea is offered before you even sit down. The space is clean and the staff is professional. My visits with their stylist Kodey have been fantastic. In the consultation he listens to what you are wanting and then discusses your hair type and the results you are hoping to get. He takes the time to make sure he's giving a quality hair cut and style. The other fantastic thing is the hair products they offer at this salon. High end, designer products leave your hair smelling amazing and silky to the touch. I'm new to Indianapolis (just moved from chicago). I found this place online and I love yelp and there are nothing but good comments about this place so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to try the ombre look - but I was nervous about it considering I'm getting married in three weeks. I had jordyn as a stylist and she was so nice, really supportive and pretty much knew what I was trying to say I wanted lol. Needless to say I love the color - I literally couldn't stop touching it for the rest of the day. Not to mention, she was easy to talk to. I feel like sometimes you get those stylists who either don't talk or talk too much but she was super nice and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! I have been going to Method for almost 2 years. It was by accident that I switched salons. I was at a holiday event and wandered in the salon. Amy & Angela offered myself & my girlfriend a free consultation. Absolutely no pressure! I'm a natural redhead so as I get older it is harder to color my "sparkles." Amy Conville (owner) is my stylist and I love the way she runs the salon, cuts, color, and never afraid to try something new or make suggestions. The salon is logistically fantastic, easy to get there. But perhaps a hidden gem! As you enter the salon, it has a cozy intimate feel and everyone is very friendly. Stylist Angela is THE stylist to ask for. I have been going to her for roughly 4 years. I have curly, mousy brown hair and it can be difficult to find a good stylist to not only cut curly hair, but also get the color just the way I want it (I've had blonde highlights since going to her and if looks awesome coming out of the salon and also as it grows out). She nails it, hands down, EVERY TIME. I have never been happier with my hair. If I could give her (and the salon staff across the board) more stars I would. This girl gets it and knows her stuff. I had my first visit at Method Salon on Saturday, and honestly, I got the best haircut I've ever had. My stylist, Kristin, actually listened to me! I had a horrible haircutting experience at another location (Salon Loft) and long story short, I asked for long layers and what I got was two very different hair lengths. The individual cut my layers into a very short bowl cut, and left the rest of my hair long (below my shoulders). It took a year to grow out! Kristin understood my fears about getting layers cut and kept them long. She is very skilled, and I will definitely be going back. If you're looking for a place with stylists who know what they're doing, I highly recommend this place. read more

I saw Hannah for an overdue haircut. I was putting it off because I didn't want to go back to the previous salon I'd gone to, which was uptight and made me feel uncomfortable. Thankfully, my experience at Method was completely different. Hannah paid extra detail to my hair and even how each strand laid when dry. She had a lot of great ideas for what we could do and the products that would work best. I ended up leaving with two boxes of shampoo/conditioner and set up a future appt for coloring. Elissa did an incredible job on my hair. I had previously gone to beauty colleges and other salons but it took me a while to really trust people to colour my hair and get it the way I liked and wanted. When I heard of Method Salon I saw the results of Tianna's hair and knew I wanted Elissa to take a crack at my own, and I'm so glad I did. She took my year of damaged, semi-blonde hair, and transformed it into a bronze-brown complex that brings me back to my roots. I recently moved to Carmel. I have been doing blonde highlights on my hair for over 20 years. When I went in, I asked Tim (my stylist) to make my hair as blonde as blonde can be, I wanted blonde highlights on top of the blonde highlights. For some reason he did toners and different things and I left with ash blonde hair color and it looked horrible. I have long thick hair and it has taken years to get the blonde perfect and now I have to start over. I notified Amy, the owner of the salon, and she had me come in to see if she could fix it herself. There was no fixing, my hair is a mess, and I spent over $300. read more

I had a haircut from Hannah yesterday, and she was amazing. My hair is incredibly thick and it was very long (down to my ribs). Hannah spent an hour and a half to carefully cut and thin every section, and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She assured me that haircuts don't usually take that long, but I had a ton of hair to get through and she didn't want to rush it. She never even seemed frustrated or impatient! Love love love my new color! Over the past year Amy C has helped transition my very very dark brown (& white!!! Not grey, WHITE!) hair to an lighter brown w/ blondish highlights to help disguise the white re-growth that was VERY noticeable against my natural almost black hair color & help give me another week or 2 between appointments. I absolutely love my stylist Kodey Farlow! I come in ever 5-6 weeks and he does an impeccable cut and color. He is very friendly and is always up to date on the latest trends and newest styles. My color is always so rich and beautiful and my cut is flawlessly done.
