About 5 minutes after 2 was called inside to check in. They still do walk ins but you would have to wait till they have an opening. Patty was the technician who drew my blood and did a fantastic job. Hardly felt the needle go in as she stated to draw blood. Was done by about 2:15 PM and on the way back home. A little upset they closed the office on Limestone Parkway in Gainesville, GA. So it is a little extra ride to get there and get all of my stuff done. Had the results in one day just had to log on to their site to get them. Overall a very good experience.

She went in for a simple blood draw and was treated horribly, her arm was handled so roughly it was clear the staff has zero proper training. And on top of that, the technician who did the blood work has the worst attitude I've ever heard of. She's rude, unpleasant, and clearly couldn't care less about the people she's supposed to be helping. And if that wasn't bad enough, they take absolutely no responsibility for any harm or mistreatment caused to their patients , none whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place. I'm not exaggerating avoid it at all costs, no matter what.

Lifesaver! Traveling for business in ATL and have been wanting to make an appointment asap but my…read morebusy schedule doesn't allow for it. Found You Choose Labs online who offer after-hours availability. SO convenient and personable, they were there right when I needed them. Avia was sensational! She came to me with a smile, we had a great conversation, she's been doing this type of work for years and years, and has heard and seen so much that she answered all my questions like it was water under the bridge. So willingly informative... I also like the fact that although I have tiny veins she was totally prepared and made it painless. It's always been difficult and frustrating in the past. I'd have to brace myself because I knew they'd start apologizing that they kept poking me, but with Avia it was just a smooth process. And she works clean, a major plus for a company that utilizes extensive travel. We've all heard stories (or have seen it ourselves) about lack of sanitation at one place or another, it's one less thing to worry about here. Quick, painless, and a pleasure. Now I'll be more informed about my health a lot faster and know exactly who to call next time I'm in need of such services while traveling there. Love this company & no regrets whatsoever!

In addition, the location near me would require a five floor ride in a public elevator in a large multi-use building which is unacceptable for me (I'm in a high risk group). I'm not totally sure of all the details as LabCorp no longer seems to answer their phone in person, did not return my phone call/message, and did not respond to my email. At You Choose Labs, the professionalism, availability to communicate in a timely manner by phone and email, and the strict procedures followed went a long way to remove the stress I was experiencing in regard to getting a blood test. The phone was answered by Avia Williams (the owner) who answered all my questions in a very pleasant, personal, accommodating, and friendly manner. The schedule allowed for the home visit to happen in a timely manner on my outdoor patio, and the total face to face contact time was under 5 minutes. We both had the correct protective equipment employed. The blood sample was submitted to, and acknowledged by LabCorp. I highly recommend You Choose Labs to anyone who values the opportunity for an in home blood draw.

Not to diminish anybody else's bad experiences (for which there seems to have been many, and thus,…read morethe lower over rating), but I received some of the best service I've received at ANY business, which says a lot these days. I arrived at 7.40 a.m. for a 7.50 a.m. "fasting labs" (this is where you can't have any food/drinks for 8-12 hours before your blood is collected for analysis). For an early-bird and coffee addict like me, this is never pleasant, not to mention the disruption to my work day. My appointment started on time, but as soon as I was taken into the room to do the collection, the technician said he did not have the proper documentation from my doctor...which I had presumed would have been sent electronically from my doctor. Without it, he could not do the work. Frustrating indeed, especially since I knew I wouldn't be able to call my doctor for at least another 10 minutes when they opened at 8 a.m., and the tech had other people he needed to see. My experience with customer care in these situations and in these days--and especially in Atlanta--is that you'd be told "too bad, if you can get your documents, maybe we'll see you at some point today." Instead, my tech was SUPER patient and understanding. He told me to go to the lobby, and once I was able to get my doctor to email the documents, all I had to do was knock on his door and he'd see me as soon as he finished with his current patient. By 8.10 a.m., I was back in his room where he did a FANTASTIC job with my collection. In fact, the reason I was at Quest was because I've had some difficulties with the inexperienced nurses at my doctor's office that--despite my supposed "great veins"--sometimes can't get blood, even after multiple "sticks" in either arm. For that reason, I decided it would be better to get my work done at Quest (even if a bit farther and less convenient than my doctor's office) where I would presumably see more experienced people. Thanks, Quest, for making what is never a fun experience--and what could have been a really difficult one--into one that went as painless (literally and figuratively) as possible!

Instead of helping me in-house, the staff sent me on a helpline loop that took an hour and three separate calls to resolve. During this time, they actually canceled my appointment because I wasn't in the lab room, despite just following their instructions. Most disappointingly, once the issue was finally resolved, the phlebotomist gave me a detailed lecture about how I was wrong instead of just moving forward with the blood draw. I appreciate my past positive experiences here, but today's broken support system and unprofessional lecturing were unacceptable.
