I was in and out within 13 minutes, and this included the elevator ride to/from the second floor where the lab is located.

I like my doctor Hong Wang because he is a professional doctor with a great experience.read more

My son was seen by a doctor at this group for what I had believed was a broken toe. Not a doctor but being a mom pretty much means that my instincts are my credentials. Needed medical proof to know what was the best course of action for my son. Hence our reason for visiting this practice. Had I x-ray vision I could have skipped this popsicle stand altogether. There my son is being looked at by the doctor. This professional pulls on the toe that is swollen. When my son winced he then moves the toe back into its resting place and proceeds to push it back a little more to gauge the pain. He then refers us to another facility for x-rays with a STAT rush order the following day at the Lawrenceville office. By the time my son had seen the doctor he was on day 4 of limping. Swelling had not gone down and bruising was on underside of foot. The pulling and pushing of toe had caused bruising to migrate to top of foot, followed by tingling (that had not been present before), more swelling and the weird sensation that the toe felt like it did not belong on the foot. This all occurring after doctor manipulated toe back and forth. By nightfall my son was in a hell of a lot of pain. Next day he limps into L'ville clinic for STAT x-ray. Simple enough, right? I inquire about meaning of stat. Well, turns out stat means what we all expect it to mean...put a rush on it. Wednesday morning my son limps off to school because we heard nothing by end of business Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and I had to call the office to see what is going on with stat x-ray. To my surprise stat, it seems, is not stat after all. X-rays had not been sent over and to hear the nurse tell it, "It is not her fault." What kind of remark is that? I never implied it was anyone's fault. Only that something was marked as stat and that I am having to call and inquire about. Where is the follow through? This practice could use a little improvement with public relation and follow through. Work your patient files. If you have a good system in place on how to keep patients in queue of importance no one will fall through the crack as quickly and as easily as my son did. Which means you, Gwinnett Clinic, would have a far greater rating. Need help with this system? I can certainly, and gladly, help you with that.
