After reviewing my husband's CT scan, he said that there was so much infection in the gallbladder that he couldn't operate on him until the infection was gone. He didn't want to send my husband home due to the fact he would receive antibiotics through an IV and that would work faster than sending him home and taking pills plus my husband was in so much pain, he was given pain meds through his IV as well. My husband's WBC went down and Dr. Dua was notified. He came in during a snow storm on a Saturday to perform surgery. He called in a team who he knew would be able to come in safely and they operated on my husband. After the surgery was over, Dr. Dua came out to talk to me. He said that even though my husband's WBC was down and it was good to perform surgery, he told me my husband's gallbladder was full of infection, which surprised him very much. He proceeded to tell me that any other surgeon, probably would have cut into my husband to get his gallbladder out due to what my husbands looked like. Dr. Dua said he was able to remove my husband's gallbladder laparoscopic. What a relief I felt knowing he could do this. Quicker healing, out of the hospital in a day if WBC was normal. Thank you so much Dr. Dua for performing a successful gallbladder surgery on my husband. His recovery has been remarkable and he feels 100% better. Also, I thank you for coming in during the snow storm. I know you could have called and said you would do int the next day, but you went beyond the call of duty, along with your team, to perform a successful gallbladder removal in my husband. I've gone back and forth trying to get proof they sent it back in April and no one has been able to give me a clear yes or no answer. Now it's looking like I have to fork over hundreds of dollars because the office and insurance department were not smart enough to send the proof to my insurance or the specialist. I hate America's medical help bc honestly to me they don't give a shit. This office has no online portal to look at your records or information. It looks like everything is in paper files that could be easily misplaced, I'm never going back here. I'll be talking to my insurance about changing my doctor as soon as possible. It's messed up that your patient has to take the L and pay out of pocket because your practice couldn't do the one job of sending my damn referral to the appropriate parties. I went to another cardiologist and left that appointment with a monitor and an echo order. I now have a prognosis for my heart issue that has proven to be more imperative than originally thought. With the original cardiologist I do not think this would have been found in a timely manner.

Today I stopped in to ask if Dr. Aimee could perform an injection for sciatica and to make sure they had this medicine in stock. Just that question only, before I went to the emergency room. What I experienced was a total different no customer service attitude response to my kindness and concern. This is nothing like the medical professional service that we are use to experiencing. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted. Once the young lady appeared I was immediately given an attitude for no reason and she would not make eye contact nor apologize for keeping us waiting as three employees were laughing and socializing. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. She told me I would have to pay $150 and then she would see me (Dr. Aimee.) Super unprofessional all around. The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.
