I won a tech company and every 4-5 years we have to upgrade out equipment. I have used R2 eCycle…read moreseveral times but was extremely disappointed this go-round. We brought in over 500 lbs. of printers, tablets, laptops etc. which at .50 cents a lb,, was a hefty bill. We believe in doing what is best for the planet and didn't want this stuff to end up in a landfill. What ended up happening was about 2 months later, I get a call from a local business that bought tablets off Facebook Marketplace that still had all of our company software installed as well as our inventory labels on the outside of the tablets. While the site says they will "refurbish" what they can, I was astounded that nothing was factory reset or at the very least, they didn't even remove our company labels from the equipment before turning around and selling them. Our tech team walked this poor buyer through factory resetting them and they removed the property/inventory labels. Basic refurbishment should include factory reset and label removal or the website should specifically say they will re-sell (not refurbish) "recycled" equipment as-is, so we could have taken the proper measures before bringing the equipment in.

Sometimes our recycling bins get too full and so we can go drop them off at the Cherry Creek recycling drop off in their bins. For this particular visit, however we had tree shrubs that we needed to get rid of. We pulled up and the gentleman at the front directed us to drop off our tree shrubs in a particular area and then we drove off. It was quick and easy. I included a picture within this review of the drop off times.

We were moving and I needed to get rid of some old tires. There are places you can drop them off at…read morethe dump and they charge you for that and then the tire ends up getting buried. At front Range they take an old used tires, grind them up, and turn them into rubber mulch. The tires go through a two-step grinding process where the first step grinds them into smaller chunks and then the second grinder grinds them into the final size and also runs them through a series of high-powered magnets to remove all steel fragments from the steel belts. The end result is a very clean nice looking mulch that you can get in all kinds of different colors. So they're taking something that truly is trash and turning it into something that's pretty cool. And they're great people deal with, too.

I love that this place is a low waste business. I am also just trying to limit plastic and buy less things with plastic. This place is great to buy products like that such as loofahs, wool dryer balls, and glass straws, etc. One thing that I was really excited about while visiting is that they have tons of options for fragrances for their products. They add scents with essential oils. I was not sure if everything would be unscented, that was not the case at all. They do have unscented options if you are into that. I am currently trying out their shampoo, soap, and laundry pods. They have been great products. I think the laundry pods do a great job and the shampoo and soap leave me feeling clean and refreshed after using. The lady who was working here was super nice.
