Following an estate sale last year (where our house got torn apart and we got ripped off) our house was left in shambles and full of "stuff" that we did not want. I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK last summer and their prices were absolutely ludicrous. So, I waited thinking m maybe we would have a garage sale, or that I could sell stuff on our neighbourhood app. Well, none of that happened. Life did. And then COVID-19 came along. The outlook for a big spring garage sale went out the door, but the house, after many months, still needed to be cleared out. So, I looked on YELP. I submitted a request asking for recommendations for Junk removal companies. Trevor, the owner of Big Junk, returned my message within 30 seconds. He was helpful, honest, very clear with pricing, super reasonable, and available immediately. I ended up scheduling his company for the following weekend, although he was available the next day. I wanted time to bag and box our belongings. In actuality, that was not necessary. This company takes care of EVERYTHING for one price. Trevor and one of his employees, Troy, arrived right on time (they called one day before as a reminder, and then right when they were leaving their office to let me know they were heading over), and we discussed their plan. They had a 26 ft truck, and huge strong plastic bags so they could do the bagging! Since their price was fixed, I kind of kicked myself in the butt for doing all of the prep work already, but it actually helped, because I was able to sort what I wanted to keep & what I wanted to get rid of. Just to give you an idea of the amount of stuff we had, - our entire living room floor was covered with boxes & old furniture. Then we had 3 bedrooms and a full basement of stuff - plus one half of a two car garage. There was no way that I could have gotten all of this material to the proper donation centers, and we couldn't continue working on our house renovation without clearing some of the detritus. This completely solved our problem. Big Junk took everything! Mattresses, an old 200 pound TV, clothing, furniture, appliances, books, tires, rims, construction supplies, and more. We did have to pay a fee for the mattresses & the TV. It was worth it! That TV HAS LITERALLY been a huge weight in my mind...and we have called electronic stores about recycling it; none of them would take it. Just getting rid of this huge TV from the second story of our house was worth the FULL price of the junk removal. It took about 2.5 hours for Trevor & Troy to remove all of the stuff from our house. They were great about asking questions the entire time, and not assuming that something should go on the truck. That was great. They were very detailed & wanted to make sure they took everything we wanted and nothing we didn't want. In the end, they even swept and cleaned any trash from the floors. Seriously! Trevor discussed with me his process after our materials leave the house. He organized many things as he loaded the truck, but he also takes the truck back to the office and sorts the materials so that he can effectively recycle, donate or dump. Metal and some electronics get recycled. Anything that can be donated to an organization like Goodwill or Salvation Army will go there, and the rest will go to a landfill. I felt so much better knowing that HE would take care of all of those details. In conclusion, if you have stuff around your house that you don't want, leave it to Big Junk to get rid of it for you. You will not be sorry. I recommend this company 110%. They were professional, perfectionistic, pleasant, prepared, prompt, physically fit, and proactive. Feel free to message me if you have questions. read more

Trevor was ab-fab! Super quick response time. Very reasonable price. We had a little bobble with communication, but Trevor got it sorted really fast. I will use Green Truck Recycling again if I have a need. read more

Trevor did an awesome job for the best price quoted to me among the many junk removal companies in the Denver area. He was quick to respond, easy to work with, and I didn't even have to be there when he did the job. He made it very easy to get this done and did not ask for payment until after the work was complete. The quoted price from the pics I sent was the actual price and there were no games. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again in the future if I have any junk removal needs. I saw his 5 star review average when researching and I see now that it's well deserved. read more

We had to clear out some old furniture. Trevor, the owner of Green Truck Recycling, responded to my quote request sooner than expected. I found his pricing very reasonable. He said he could pick our items up the very next afternoon. The pick-up time slot Trevor initially suggested was not going to work, but he was super accommodating and worked with me to find a time that suited our schedule. There was inclement weather the morning of the pick-up, and I appreciated Trevor keeping us apprised of ETA updates. Trevor and his assistant, Matt, arrived promptly. They were both friendly and professional, and got the job done quickly. We will definitely not hesitate to contact them again if we need to properly dispose of used household items. read more

We have used Green Truck in the past to remove several items and an upright piano. Trevor is great and extremely responsive. He makes Haul Away easy and is very affordable. We have just scheduled another job with him. You will NEVER regret using this company! read more

5 stars! Super quick responses, and they arrived exactly when they said they would - promptly at 11am. We had tons of stuff to throw out: 5 couches, 1 big chair and ottoman, entertainment center, cabinets, TV, lawnmower, and a whole lot more. Trevor and his team were friendly, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend this local, family owned business! Thank you! read more

I started a 'new project' through yelp in order to obtain pricing quotes for junk removal. Trevor C. responded to my request almost immediately after I sent it. He was extremely patient, and informative. I had many questions and he took the time to answer every single one of them thoroughly, and right away. Once we gather pricing quotes and compare rates, we will then make a decision as to which company to hire; I am hoping that Green Truck Recycling will beat out the other companies' pricing because he seems wonderful to work with! read more

Trevor's crew was professional, courteous, and prompt. They came, hauled everything away, and charged the fair price I was quoted the day before. Clear communication and came wearing masks and gloves (and had booties if they needed to come into the house, but everything was in the garage. I highly recommend them and can tell why they have 5 stars on Yelp. read more

Very friendly, came on time and made quick work of the whole hauling process--I'm definitely going to contact this business again next time I need hauling! read more

Big Junk Co was great! We asked for an estimate on yelp the night before, got a response with a fixed price in less than a minute, it was cheaper than all the competitors, and got our questions answer after hours! All with a Google calendar invite with exact times :) For the actual pickup process, Trevor arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, and texted to let us know he was running a little late. The removal process ran so smoothly we finished in less time than expected. My favorite part though was Trevor's passion for responsible waste disposal. He helped sort everything so that the right stuff went to the right place and everything recyclable got recycled. I was thinking of renting a truck and taking everything to the dump, but this is definitely a better option. Big Junk Co can use economy of scale to do it cheaper, better, and faster. I will be recommending them to all my friends! read more

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Trevor truly went above and beyond. We needed 2 couches moved that were not picked up before we moved out of state. Got an estimate, made an appointment, and Trevor arrived to pick up couches all in one day!! Trevor arrived and there were no couches, I was so upset because I couldn't even verify for myself nor the landlord. Unsure if they were stolen or what!Trevor took pictures for me so I could have "peace of mind" that the couches were really gone, and offered to not charge me a trip fee if they reappeared! Not being there really stressed me out, and Trevor just took all that stress away with his kindness and truly amazing customer service. I've got lots of friends in Colorado and I'm sending all of them here! Thank you Trevor for taking stress off my plate and being so incredibly nice! read more

These gentlemen provided excellent customer service and even worked with me to accommodate the pick up. I highly recommend this business.

I am very happy with the work Big Junk did for us. We had a large pile of yard debris and an old wine fridge that needed to be discarded. They gave me a fair estimate, were professional and courteous. They also cleaned up after and folded our tarp that all the debris was on. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Thought their service was awesome! I have had some old stuff piling up for a few years now and finally decided it was time for it all to go. I checked Yelp and found these guys. They responded quickly, within minutes, and provided a very reasonable quote. No messing around or games. They arrived on time and ready to work. I was impressed with how friendly and professional Trevor at Big Junk was during the visit. I will be sharing his cards with neighbors and friends as I feel confident in their responsiveness and professionalism. My yard looks great and next time I won't wait so long to call. Great job and well worth the 5 stars!! read more

I requested a quote on Yelp from Big Junk and three others. Trevor emailed me a quote within 5 minutes and could be here the next morning! I continued to collect the other quotes, the lowest was 60% higher than Big Junk's! We only had two large items to get rid of that were already in our carport, and Trevor charged us a very reasonable amount for his minimum. He text me when he was almost at my house, arrived exactly on time, showed up with a face mask for safety, and was very professional the whole way. We will use Big Junk in the future and will recommend him to anyone who asks! read more

I have never used a junk tow away service but after reading fantastic reviews on yelp I reached out and got a quote. The quote was a little ways off but that was my fault due to my lack of knowledge of the amount of trash I had in my house. Trevor messaged me 1.25 hr prior to arriving and was very prompt. Very polite and I got to meet his son! It was just the two of them and they removed the trash in under 30 minutes. Very professional and diligent. The transaction was a breeze and the final cost was extremely reasonable. read more
