You pull in and follow the sign that points to the scale for cans only to be told no, cans are across the street. I go across the street and deal with the gruff employee who can only grunt two words at a time. He weighs my cans and hands me a sheet of paper. I try the two entrance doors to the North of where I am, both are locked. I have to ask some random customer there to sell a junk car what to do with the paper. He tells me I need to take it back across the street in order to get my cash. For God's sake All Recycling, how about a sign or two explaining your asinine process? Or better yet, how about you train your employees a bit better?

I pressed the ring bell from the weight scale. She waved her hand telling me came over to the window and said don't want to sell the concrete recycle road base for me because last time she was angry with me some reason for the my truck license plate did not recognize. I asked her why every time I come here to buy or dump the materials you're always give me in trouble??? I tried to speaking with the manager or owner but she didn't not let me and waved her hands bye bye bye ( the video and picture in the bottom) I would like if the owner will see this reviews and may fire her if they can!!! We are customers and need great customer services not mean every time come here is happening like this!

I was a bit confused about where to enter as there is not a clear sign, but you want to turn into the large driveway just north of the brick and metal warehouse with the DENVER METAL RECYCLING sign. Stay to the right as you go up the driveway and park as close to the second large warehouse entrance as possible. If all of the spaces are occupied, follow the Exit sign around the far edge of the yard and you'll find additional parking against the fence. Once you've parked, grab one of the various carts and load up your materials. Get in the line by that second warehouse entrance. You'll come to a gentleman operating a floor scale. He'll check your ID, weigh the items, and give you a receipt. You then walk back to the first warehouse entrance and go in the small door where you'll find the cashier. You give her your receipt and she gives you any change that's due, then directs you to the ATM in the corner of the office where you scan your receipt and receive your cash. This is a busy operation, but all of the staffers were friendly, efficient, and helpful. We grabbed a cart, loaded up our items, had a short wait in line for the scale, weighed in and got our receipt, walked to the cashier, and soon had a very reasonable amount of cash. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a very pleasant and professional experience. Just watch out for forklifts!

We brought in over 500 lbs. of printers, tablets, laptops etc. which at .50 cents a lb,, was a hefty bill. We believe in doing what is best for the planet and didn't want this stuff to end up in a landfill. What ended up happening was about 2 months later, I get a call from a local business that bought tablets off Facebook Marketplace that still had all of our company software installed as well as our inventory labels on the outside of the tablets. While the site says they will "refurbish" what they can, I was astounded that nothing was factory reset or at the very least, they didn't even remove our company labels from the equipment before turning around and selling them. Our tech team walked this poor buyer through factory resetting them and they removed the property/inventory labels. Basic refurbishment should include factory reset and label removal or the website should specifically say they will re-sell (not refurbish) "recycled" equipment as-is, so we could have taken the proper measures before bringing the equipment in.

Long story short, they're GREAT! What to know why.....continue reading…read more Quick tip: separate your copper, copper with solder, brass out in different containers. It's WELL worth your time. Ever scrapped anything before? I had not. I've been to a couple of different yards before with other people, and I pretty much decided long ago that I'd rather take things to a dump than cruise through a scrap yard. As a homeowner, I started one of those never ending improvement projects, and I just ended up with way too much steel to not turn it in somewhere. After calling every yard I could find online, only one of them took steel for money, and they were jerks. My neighbor has lived in town for 40 years, and he recommended checking this place out as they were friendly and always easy to get along with. They were. Drive past the front of the well signed building, pull up on the scale, wait for the green light (meaning they've logged your license plate and your scale weight,) follow the road around back, chuck your stuff into a pile, drive around the front over the scale again, and again wait for that green light. Park, go inside, tell your plate number, show your ID, sign a paper saying that you didn't steel the metal, get MONEY!!!! Glorious, heavenly, money that you know you need just to break somewhat even from that project that's been bleeding your dry. Then roll directly across the street to their non-ferrous metals (copper & copper alloys) site, and do this again with your buckets. Basically a 5 gallon bucket of copper is somewhere in the neighborhood of $100. Excited yet? Check it out for yourself, know what scrapping is all about, and how easy it really is.
