Two Hands Corn Dogs - Combo comes with a drink

Came in Sunday after church. I was unsure about what to order but the cashier, Manny, was able to…read morethoroughly answer all my questions. I love corn dogs and hotdogs in general so I was pretty excited to try this. I decided on the American dog which was so so so good. They did this perfectly. Sweet cornmeal outside with a delicious beef dog on the inside. The cornmeal coating had good flavor but the texture was softer, like it's mixed with flour. The taste was still sweet and reminiscent of a traditional corndog. I also got the Two Hands dog, half beef and half mozz. It was surprisingly good. I got the ranch on the side. The flavor was unique, slightly sweet and slightly savory. It did not have a huge amount of flavor which made it pair really well with the delicious tangy ranch. The breading for the this was flour so the texture is softer. The mozzarella was interesting and there was a lot of it. Both dogs were huge. I'd say 2 is a good amount for dinner and it came out to $11. I would come back! I think it's an interesting and fun concept that is executed well. I'd probably get this same exact order again.

I really like Korean corn dogs. I like the chewy texture of the crust and melty mozzarella. I even…read moreusually like the sugar topping, but this most recent visit was just not up to snuff. The staff was incredibly sweet and made me feel welcome. I ordered the combo meal with a corn dog, fries, and a drink ($13), selecting the crispy rice corn dog (half cheese, half dog, of course), kimchi fries, and a taro boba (additional $2). Unfortunately, the crispy rice and sugar combo was just nooooot the right move. I definitely should have picked something else because the texture of the crispy rice was dry, and coupled with the sugar... It was just not a great experience to say the least, haha. The kimchi fries were flavorful and crunchy, so I have no complaints about that. But the boba... Hooooly. It was the worst boba I've ever had, and that's not an exaggeration. The texture of the taro (milk tea??) was close to pudding, so it was like I was chewing my drink--which is the expectation when you're eating *boba*, but not drinking *tea*. The flavor was decent, but it was so difficult to drink because it was just thick and gooey. It was genuinely horrendous. Worse yet, the boba was wrong! The tapioca pearls weren't sweet and chewy; instead, they were cakey and broke in one bite! No chew, no flavor, then combine it with the gooey, pudding-like taro "milk tea" makes for the worst boba drink ever. Overall, I can't write off Two Hands because I KNOW that their other corn dogs are good, but DO NOT waste your money on a boba. Just hop across the street for Ni Hao Tea.

Finally got to take a friend after telling her how great this place was the last two times I went -…read moreservice , food and dog accommodating wise- and was quite disappointed and no "charm" this 3rd time around. This saddens me as I have not given a 3 star review in a long time. Will start with the good. The patio was clear and clean on arrival with us and two dogs in tow. The Chicago hotdog was delicious like usual. The chocolate milkshake was tasty- never had that before. The chocolate cake looks great- brought home and ate two days later- still delicious! This time was my free birthday slice so that was a nice surprise I had forgotten about with the perks of the rewards. The cashier was nice. Not really a listener, but nice all the same/ seemed restless. Ok- the service was dismal at best. First, last two times I came, I either went to that area on left prior to going to other end for line etc- and asked for menu so we could then go in and order etc- and no one there. Previously, I had asked for two hotdogs to give our dogs and add to bill and they gave us free. The young man nearby, was washing windows and cleaning - oh yes. Another good, place was clean! Anyhoo, he mumbled to go to end and get in line - I asked as had dogs on patio and friend watching them but we wanted to check menus since she had not been here before. Ok -he brought them to me as I waited inside. My friend and I of course took turns going inside to order - which is fine as it's a fast food. I did the kiosk but knew I still needed to get my dog something and asked if he could please add a beef bowl and asked how much? He said 9.00 - I said oh ok but just beef not all the trimmings right? As- it is for my dog. He assured me - kind of in his mumbling voice. I had also ordered a beef sandwich nothing removed just the regular one and when back out on patio with the food- it was a bun with beef- not looking as advertised. I thought he must have thought I meant plain for both yet we never brought up anything except the bowl in addition. The beef bowl for dog was fine- although pricey as usually a couple bucks was knocked off previously. When I paid cashier for bowl he said we will bring it out to you when ready . Great! I said are you sure? You will have it brought to patio? He said yes. We waited a bit longer at patio than I would have as we were talking. I realized I best check on our orders- they were sitting on counter - I said excuse me to manager who was filing the orders - and said are these mine? He checked re riots and said yes- Okayyyy and went to eat on patio. Just busy and not friendly like first two times when they first opened. Bummer- will not go there to sit with dogs anymore and if I'm craving hotdog- may whip through drive thru and enjoy the food without the average service. Recommend their food thru delivery or drive thru only.
