They claim because it's a digital entry facility your items are more protected. But what are you supposed to do when it's management you need protection from. It trued to pay for my unit they locked me out of the website to make the payment. After they took over I was unable to see who entered and exited my unit or the gate. Just all of a sudden I was unable to see any activity when it came to my unit. I bluffed them when they were auctioning my unit off because I knew they were crook's. The day of the auction I sent a receipt of payment that wasn't real in hope I could give myself more time to stop them from their illegal actions. I was on the phone with them miniturs before the auction was to take place they confirmed they got the receipt and told me my unit wasn't going to be auctioned off. I made them confirm this via Email they still auctioned my unit off as I knew they would. So when I called a few days later I got the response I knew I would get they auctioned off my unit. Then attacked me about the receipt. I then told them if they knew it was fraudulant when hadn't they contacted law enforcement about it. But we both already knew they had long before the auction taken my unit. I was unable to find my unit anywhere on any storage auction site. Knew exactly what happened like the thieves they are they stole my unit took what they wanted and auctioned off the rest. This is how they operate. Do not use this facility your unit will unlawfully be entered by these individuals and they have the power to manipulate their own security system so that you won't even know they entered your unit.

He wasn't even at home but within 30 minutes or less after his first phone call with me I had a unit. I had to cancel the next day and wasn't expecting to get a refund but Lenny had my card refunded within 24 hours on a holiday weekend Saturday. Moving forward to this last instance, we were contacted by a rep at the lot about a balance that was due - fine, i get it.. and Let's be real 2020 was rough on EVERYONE! I'm sure lot's of people got behind in one way or another... We offered to come make a payment on the account that day, and the rep told my mother the owner was out of town, and she would get back to us about the amount due. The next correspondence we get is from the owner telling us we've been locked out and the storage unit will be auctioned off.. Excuse me? We still have no idea what balance is due.. What kind of response is this for an owner to give a customer IN ANY type of business? I'll be contacting them myself, paying the balance due, getting our belongings out of there and spreading the word about their horrible customer service! They had several and took the time to show me the interiors so I could visualize and estimate which size I needed. Cleanliness was also important. I have beautiful furniture and worldly possessions that mean everything to me and so I didn't want to put them in a unit that was dusty dirty. I moved into it and it was spotless. The move in deal was very much appreciated. I liked that Rock Safe has lights and power available on each row if needed. I also like the style of lock used at this facility. My only complaint is the client restroom at exterior of the main office was locked early, before the gate closing time. As an older female, that made it very inconvenient to have to leave the property, drive home then come back. Please post hours that restroom is open so I can better plan my visit periods. It should be open till 8 pm ( closing time). Thus a score of only 4 stars.

My roommates and I booked a 9'x10' unit with this company June 13th and didn't even have it for a…read morefull month (Closed it July 9th). We were reassured that we would not be charged for two months, and that because we were there for only one month it would not roll over and that we were not enrolled in autopay. However after I closed it I checked my banking information and found out I was charged for 2 months. I had to call two days in a row even though I called the first day within operating hours and when I was answered on the second day Diane picked up and was told that they never sent back my $40 security deposit, and that I would not be refunded my money. It would come back as a probate for the month of July. When I asked for further clarification Diane became frustrated and explained (pretty much yelling) that she does not know how the probates really work and that she would forward my information to the company's accountant. Today I got a call from Mary, who was very helpful and kind that I would not be receiving any kind of refund at all. I got two different stories and am now being charged for two month's rent. Already, I find it horrible that I had to ask for my security deposit back and that if I never caught that I would have lost $40. On top of that, my address was written completely wrong despite me giving Diane my license and her inputting my information herself. They are unclear about their policies and tell you what you want to hear so that you work with them -- at least that is my experience. I did not enjoy my time there, will be looking elsewhere for storage in the future, and I hope you do the same.
