I would echo the last review as they no showed for my initial quote appointment as well. But in my case the unprofessionalism gets even worse. Ken from Mesa finally did come give me a proposal after negotiation we agreed on a price, at a discount for the missed original appointment. But I still had to get HOA approval and to have the water rebate service come out and measure as well. So Ken said "no worries we have plenty of time, I'll drop off the contract for you to sign and we'll get it scheduled". So time passes, I don't hear anything. I try to get a hold of Ken, he's gone AWOL. I called the company and they say Ken's been let go, and said they needed you a copy of what Ken and I had agreed to because even though they had my entire email string with Ken, Stacey who now seems to be taking over Mesa turf, said that unless I could provide something to them as proof for what we discussed she would not honor the quote. I also found out Ken had quoted my job with a foreign made turf which is not allowed to get the rebate by the water companies. I sent a copy of Ken's initial quote that he had written out but we never signed and when it was all said and done, this was the email response from Stacey at Mesa basically telling me since Ken never came back to have a contract signed they didn't have to honor it even though they did have the entire email negotiation string as to what was discussed. After a few scheduling mistakes, my turf was installed and looks beautiful. Such a pleasure looking out the window of my house and seeing a lovely green lawn. Jeff McEwen, the field supervisor, was an invaluable help when things got mixed up and did everything he could to remedy the situation quickly. I got a little upset and he never batted an eye, and calmly took care of things with a smile. Thank you for that Jeff. The crew did a great job, left no sign of a mess, and the turf looks perfect. Had our artificial turf done by this company. Initially the turf looks perfect, but eventually it developed soft spots and there were lots of weeds growing in the perimeter. I called their number but they already closed down the turf company. they cant even find my order number in their system even though i have records to prove it. their warranty is worthless. sham company! read more

4 stars overall - if it were not for Jeff it would be 3. First part of the job was a putting green which turned out awesome. As the turf project wrapped up, we casually asked for a referral for a landscaper for border areas near the new turf and patio areas. They said "oh we can do that" and since we are very busy and liked the putting green results we moved ahead with a planting and irrigation project. Let's just say Mesa should stick to turf. The contract for the planting and irrigation job was vague. Very specific details discussed and agreed to verbally during the sales process were not installed and the response was "it's not in your contract". I was given the excuse about there being a "miscommunication" between sales and operations and that missing items or specific product types needed to be a "line item" in the contract if they were to be included. Bottom line- what was installed for the money I paid is not what I was told I was getting. Half of the planter area is not getting enough water and now that it's summer plants are sunburned and dying because what we discussed to install was not installed. I'm way too busy and paid way too much for this project to be hand watering over brand new drip lines that aren't cutting it when what was supposed to be installed was a combo of (my existing!) sprinkler heads and drip. Jeff has gone above and beyond to try to make me happy on behalf of his company. I truly appreciate that, but I can't recommend Mesa for landscaping services based on my experience. read more

We couldn't be happier with our new renovated putting green. The material is beautiful and much better than what we put in over 15 years ago and a better warranty too. The sales and installation team were very professional, prompt and thorough throughout the entire process. They honored their quote (which is important to us), even though we had some tree roots that had to be removed underneath the old putting green. We were told clearly at the initial inspection by Jonathan (Sales), that their would be additional cost to the quote should they find any underneath and need to remove them. We were given a cost range, so no surprises. During the past 2 months, I was given 4 different quotes from different suppliers. I chose Mesa Turf because of the professionalism shown my the sales rep. Michael White. I was offered by most suppliers with 70 oz grade turf but Mesa Turf was the only company that offered me a sample of 90 oz turf. Besides the fact that the price quoted by Mesa was a bit higher than others, Michael White worked with me to get as close to others with a top quality 90 oz turf. My wife and I decided to let Mesa Turf for the installation. Jeff ( a installation supervisor from Mesa Turf showed up at around 8:20 in the morning before the installation crew arrived. I had the opportunity to show Jeff the front lawn and let him know of my concern of the sprinkler water supply PVC pipe that would be underneath the turf. He dug the area until the buried PVC pipe was exposed and he sprayed paint the area to let the crew know that care should be taken to avoid breaking the buried PVC pipe when they start to work on removing the existing lawn. For the entire day, Jeff was on site supervising and controlling each step of the way starting from removal of the existing grass all the way to the final installation of the artificial turf. I had to say that the entire work crew took pride in their work and they all worked hard to get the entire installation done by 4 pm. in the afternoon. I was also informed that the warranty on the turf would be 18 years of service. I am so happy with the decision we made to go with Mesa Turf even though we do not mean to say that other suppliers are not as good as Mesa Turf. NO call NO show! I called and set up an appointment for an estimate and was given a time of 1 to 3. Wednesday no one showed up and no one ever called finally at 3:15 I called and the representative told me they let a voicemail on my cell phone that they could not make the appointment. No on ever called and I had no voicemail I find it hard to believe that after waiting 7 days for the estimate and clearing my schedule they canceled the SAME DAY as the appointment! Had our front lawn replaced by Mesa Turf on Sept. 12, 2018. Owen was our sales person and did a great job of showing us samples and explaining the install process. On install day Jeff, the installation supervisor, showed up early. The material was delivered and the crew showed up and promptly went to work. They work all day and did a great job. But we noticed the layout of the material was not what we agreed on with Owen. There were more seams than we wanted. Owen came out and we explained the problem to him and Jeff. They quickly said whatever it took to make us happy they would do. They agreed to relay the entire lawn per the original layout. There was no arguing or disagreement. Most work you have done, there are mistakes made, but this is the first time i have had a company actually agree to fix the problem immediately with no argument. I have nothing to say but pure admiration for the crew's professionalism. Owen G is the main reason why I decided to hire Mesa Turf simply because of the way he is. Field supervisor Jeff M and his crew was very knowledgeable about the installation. They also took care of other things such as removal of plants and the sprinkler system that I had.
