2/26/2022 Farnsworth…read moreHall Music Venue. Performing was the Eagles Cover Band. Tickets conveniently purchased online for all their shows. Parking 5/5 Plenty of private parking. Ambiance 5/5 Lighting works wonders and the Halls upgrades focused on sound & stage lighting which they did well. The Hall audience seating included rows of general seating and VIP Seating tables near the stage. The Venue definitely has the concept vibe. Menu 2/5 Food options were limited, snacks, beverages, personal Pizzas etc. There also was a bar setup outside on the back patio for cocktails and soft drinks. There really wasn't any place to eat unless you had a VIP table. Stage performance 5/5 Our seating was perfect up front. The Band does a fantastic performance the instrumentals were spot on. The bands Vocals were well done minus Joe Walsh's songs. How do you pull off his sound? We also enjoyed the Journey cover band Voyager Which was an excellent performance and finally the Comedic Nun show "Midnight Gretchen". Great intimate Venue.

After I paid $25 for my nonrefundable tickets , I saw they were only $10 on Goldstar. Concert hall had no carpet or other sound absorption. I don't know what the building was before, but I am giving 3 stars because there are only 3 women's bathroom stalls for seating for 500 people, 1 in the front I. Foyer and 2 stalls down the hall to the left of the stage. Of course there was a line of women, and no line for the men. Parking was free and not a problem, all around the building. Both Eagles Tribute and Beatles Tribute performances were worth my $25 each, but would have been more satisfying for $15 (includes $5 in the usual ticket fees) through Goldstar. There's a small bar if that's how you roll, but you can't actually sit AT the bar. The Nile has a variety of bands from punk, metal, pop, etc. These aren't the musicians selling out stadiums, so the shows are affordable and you can see the bands! The plus side is these are the bands I want to see. Buy something from the band's merch table so they can afford to tour. This venue has a clear bag policy, which is becoming the norm these days. Security uses the ol' metal detector wand and pat down your pockets with it. The guy tapped my pocket with it and asked 'what's this?' and I showed him my chapstick. I didn't need to take off my shoes though. I will say I haven't seen an fights or issues with the crowd during the shows I've been to. This is a good venue to see bands and you can even take your kids! One thing I've come to appreciate in my older age is a clean bathroom, and the Nile's need some attention. If you need to sit due to biology or otherwise, make sure you go before you go.

It was so HOT in there. There were fans but none of them were on. It felt like there was no ac running. The bartender was nice and the bands were great. Being in a large crowd with no airflow made it hard to enjoy the show.

Long time GoM fan, first time bruncher. Today's visit did…read morenot disappoint! I want to refer to my previous review for my respect to Owner-Mike and his team. Today is food. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a substitute of shredded beef instead of chorizo. This dish was not my favorite-but this is no fault of the eggs Benedict and more my palate. The hollandaise was very smoky, which unfortunately is not my favorite. The corn muffin, was very dense. So, I ate the eggs with my salad...my muffin will get some honey butter when I eat it as leftovers. There was not a bite left on my plate, but ultimately, I will not order it again. Where GoM is amazing: 1. The churros! I want to bathe in the sauce! These little GF fried delights will knock your socks off! 2. I wanted something "fall" to go with my dessert. The bar tender, said "I've got you!" He made me a Sweater Weather, presented as a shot. This drink will be available for the fall, but is not yet on the menu. And OH MY! It's fall in a glass with just a bit of 'grown up' mixed in. I love going to GoM because I know they will not fail me. Go see the team. Enjoy the flavors and even more wonderful service!

Food and service both excellent!…read more The only problem was it was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. There was a large party who decided to do karaoke with the DJ and a speech with a microphone so you couldn't not be part of it - in the same dining area as regular guests (on a Sunday evening around 5pm - not your normal party hours). We'd try it again but definitely sit at the bar to be able to enjoy a conversation.

There's no seating here unless you're in the VIP or part of the friends & family of the performer, so expect to stand for hours. There's quite a bit of parking available near the venue, just watch for rates as they can be highly variable. Security line moves fast but make sure you don't have anything metal on you, even if it's small. My friend had his keychain-sized pocket knife confiscated (ones that can be brought on planes). Most bands do a great job with the acoustics and production here. Most recently saw Switchfoot with Anberlin and it was great. Last year I caught Architects and We Came as Romans here and those were also great shows. I'm looking forward to more great shows here in the future!

They don't have a designated parking garage, so to eliminate any hassle, I parked where I knew it was free downtown and popped into a Waymo for the last leg. There are multiple food and drink areas available. Prices are inflated, as expected for an event venue, but nothing out of the ordinary. Keep an eye on what you bring. My friend had a standard writing pen that security wouldn't let him bring inside! Overall, I'd definitely return. Smaller, cozy venues like this are right up my alley.

A Yelp search for local speakeasys led us to The White Rabbit, an establishment located roughly 30 minutes away from my buddy's home. Upon arriving, we provided the friendly security staff with the "secret" password for the evening. Entering the dimly lit bar, we were warmly greeted by a server and the vibrant sounds of laughter. After being seated, we began perusing the drink menus (they have an overwhelmingly amount of options) and I arrived on the "Smoke and a Smile" as my first drink. Taking in the environment as we awaited our drinks, I observed that this venue serves as an appropriate setting for either a date night or a night out with friends. Our drinks arrived shortly, in which we all expressed how delicious our selections were. So delicious that we all took turns passing our drinks around as if they were flight samplers. We ended up having three rounds of drinks before heading over to the dance floor portion of the venue, in which we had additional drinks while enjoying the nostalgic hits being played by the DJ. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The White Rabbit, I will definitely make a return visit whenever I'm in town!

I did appreciate that the speakeasy was below ground and required a password. I do think it's odd that when making a reservation online, you are not prompted on how to retrieve the password. Thank goodness my friend receives the emails and let me know ahead of time what to say. You enter down a long hallway and wait at a bookcase that opens. It kind of feels like forever because there's nowhere to go and could create a little bit of potential claustrophobia/panic for people who may be sensitive to those types of environments. The drink menu was good but I really wasn't wowed. They did offer three mocktails which wasn't really impressive and the cocktails did include a variety of liquors and flavor profiles but again, wasn't as extensive or interesting as some other speakeasies around town. The food menu was very disappointing - a lot of dairy and bread - pretzels with cheese, flatbread, queso with chips, and "rabbit food" - hummus with bread and vegetables. We asked to have all vegetables instead of bread and they did accommodate with a generous helping of full-size rainbow carrots and cherry tomatoes. We actually ran out of hummus before we could finish the vegetables. I understand elevated pricing for the aesthetic/experience but I did think the pricing here was a little bit high for what was received.

If you plan ahead, great place for big groups because they have fire pits and live music and picnic tables all around the back. They had a nice beer selection, and the bartender some waitresses were really sweet and very attentive. The only drawback: you have to stand in line to order your food. Because it's fast casual you have to order the counter if you wanna eat outside, and your weight can be 20 to 30 minutes standing out there so grab a drink if you wanna wait in line. Otherwise I recommend just getting a seat in the restaurant itself. It'll be a lot faster. The place can get really busy, there were definitely over 100 people there the night that I was there, and let the kids running around, which was cute. Seem like everybody was having an amazing time adults and children alike. There's pool in the back, and cornhole, and if you'd like to dance, a nice big open dance floor outside.
