What a great experience at Mesa Radio with Mike . I had an after market alarm that i wanted removed from my Tacoma , because it was starting to go off on its own, and locking me out etc . Ok fair. I get an appointment at Larry H Miller and show up , guy tells me it will be $500 TO START looking for the wires , disconnect the alarm etc .$500 TO START - yes $500 !!, and i would have to leave my car at the dealer all day . I ALMOST caved in because i just wanted to get it over with . However , i stated i would do more research so i left . I looked at a few places on line when i found Mike at Mesa Radio on Menaul. We had a brief phone convo , and i explained the issue . I drove down to his business and honestly , i was skeptical because i know electrical issues wire etc can be sketchy but after a short informative convo , i agreed to let them do it . Not even 30 minutes later , job was complete , they gave me the parts from the after market alarm that they removed , explained how it worked went through all the wires , hands on showed me the workings of it etc . I had a courier van that had to be sold because of a new business venture that didn't happen, so I had to have a dash cam and remote start alarm removed. The job was completed within less than an hour and I just showed up without an appointment. The price was under the 1 hour rate, so I was so excited that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. They replaced my car speakers which were totally blown. When I called, I said there were only two speakers because the back ones had died so long ago that I didn't even realize they were there. They charged me for the extra speakers but not the extra labor. Very stand up of them. A true professional! I recently purchased a 2005 Corolla for my son's first car. The factory radio didn't work and I found another used factory radio that I planned on installing. This is written in Feb 2018. I bought a new 2017 Prius. I wanted Sirius XM but did not want to pay for the luxury package that included Sirius and much more. So I bought the Prius without Sirius. Mike knew of a company that makes an after market Sirius receiver that is compatible with the screen display on the Prius. He installed it and it works perfectly. It was expensive (about $400 total), but much cheaper than buying the more expensive model Prius. read more

I called Mike after having a security system and remote start installed at another business. To make a long story short, my truck ended up at a Ford dealership being repaired due to that businesses shoddy work. I had asked around to see if anyone knew of a reputable business that could hook my system back up and make any other necessary repairs. Mesa Radio was recommended. I dropped my truck off on a Wednesday morning and picked it up that afternoon. Mike went over the repairs with me and informed me what had happened with the original wiring error and told me they had also discovered another wiring error. That error would not allow the heating or air conditioning to engage when the engine was started remotely. We are driving across the country in an RV and when we got to Albuquerque it wouldn't start. I spoke with the dealer we bought it from Washington, the Ford dealer, camping world and all signs pointed to an aftermarket alarm that we did not know we had or have the fob for because we bought the RV used. I found Mesa Radio on Google and explained situation and everything we tried to the gentleman that answered the phone, Mike, he got one of his techs to drive 16 miles out of town to the RV Park after 5:00 on a Friday. I want to give this local business more stars, but I'm a bit upset right now. I purchased and had a new car stereo installed. Service was great and a quick demo of the radio. The installer forgot to reconnect the cigarette lighter, needed to charge my cell phone. I live out of town and came back the next week. A few blocks away I was hit and my car totaled. I took the stereo back to return it and since it had been used, for a week, they wouldn't accept it. There mistake and in a stroke of bad luck I lose my car. Hard for me to recommend Mesa. read more
