Not your typical pizza and parm shop, Mesa Notte distinguishes itself with a menu that features traditional Italian cuisine served with style and an attentive staff. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality offered. I would suggest making a reservation if you are able as we found it very busy for a Thursday evening. Chrissy was our server and was EXCEPTIONAL. Ill ask for her every time we go in the future. I haven't had service so perfect in the longest time!! She was so thoughtful and attentive to our table plus all the other tables she took care of. I could tell she really made the effort and treated every table as well as she treated us. Food was pretty good. Osso buco fell off the bone and was so flavorful. Risotto actually was a correct risotto which I don't see often. Pasta purse stuffed with pear and cheese was eh and I wouldn't order again. Caesar salad was overdressed. Everything else was tasty. Wish the vodka sauce had more flavor. Wine selection was nice too. Food was good but a little too salty for my taste. I had the chicken piccata and there were too many capers. The one thing that made the place amazing was the service and ambience. Wait staff were right there and setup was on par to a Queens dinner. Everyone was enjoying themselves and no one was exaggeratingly loud. Oh my gosh! This place is amazing! Best Italian in Ocala We are traveling from NC and had our two service dogs with us, the wait staff was so accommodating. The front appearance of the building is nothing special, we parked and came in through the back. We had a great waiter, Jose! He talked us into the special appetizer, oh it was great!
