What I left with was 2 teachers gifts and a bunch of stuff for me! Meghan, the owner, was there when I walked in and she walked me through her whole store. She had so much personal knowledge about all of her products. I had a difficult time choosing because I wanted everything! I really appreciated the reasonable price range for a boutique! Meghan hand makes Anthropology's famous Volcano candles in a variety of adorable containers, at a fraction of the cost! Most importantly, Meghan uses her shop to help our community. She does sip'n shops for our schools, where a portion of the sales for that day are donated to the school. On small business Saturday, a portion of the sales are donated to a local food pantry. Businesses who help our community will always earn my loyalty. To sum up- it's the perfect spot for one-stop gift shopping! (Card and wrapping paper/bags available too!)

Before I say what happened please know that I do not dislike all giftology locations just the east gate Ohio location. They have amazing products but the service in my opinion what a horrible one. I went in to shop for gifts and had the most unpleasant experience. When I walked into the location there were 3 employees working standing behind the cash register counter talking amongst themselves. In the store there was only one other couple looking around. I proceeded to walk around looking for gifts to buy my friends and family. I got to one counter with bracelets that were made of gold and pearls that I was interested in buying. I stood at the counter for over 5 mins just starting at the the 3 ladies that were standing by the register and non of them even looked my way. After another minute of waiting the girls continued their conversation and I thought I was going to get help since one of the girls looked right at me then turned her back to me and continued on with her convo. I was about to walk up to them and ask for help but to my surprise a new customer walked in and one of the girls said to the other two girls "does someone want to go and help her" mind you I had been standing there literally watching them do nothing but talking and waving their "under arm fat" around.... not a joke go check the camera for that one. After I heard one of the ladies say "I'll go help" I said "you've got to be kidding me, I've been standing here for 5 minutes waiting to be helped" I was told "sorry we didn't see you" so I asked how did you not see me when I clearly saw you wiggling your arm back and forth. To make matters worse being that I was already an upset client no one even tried to rectify the situation no one said "I'm sorry we didn't see you was there anything we could help you with" being that there were still 2 doing nothing. But no they let me walk out angry, then when I came back in to speak to a manager or get a business card they just handed me the card with no empathy whatsoever behind it. I have worked in retail my entire life and have also been in retail management for about 10 years now and I can honestly say that I did not feel welcome in the location. I actually felt as if I didn't get help based on how I look. I am half Filipino half white so I am a bit on the darker side and the lady that walked in that they rushed to help was a white lady. I was not greeted when I walked in but she was. She was helped asap and I was left standing there upset. I was excited to shop here being that I live in New York and have shopped at one of their other location upstate and do like their products. After I left the location I called the store and to my surprise no one answered the phone so I left a message, I received a call back from the assistant manager and she really didn't say anything that made the situation any better. She had no empathy and didn't even know her managers info. I told her I wanted a call back from the manager and if I could have the name of her managers manager and she wasn't able to give me their name. This place from my experience has horrible customer service and are quick to judge. Once I told the assistant manager that I was here to buy multiple gifts and had a spending budget of 2500-3000 is when she apologized. She told me the manager would get back to me when she came back from vacation and I have yet to hear back from her. I will be filing a complaint that goes above her. Aside from the bad service the products they carry are great products and I do not discourage people from buying from them. They may treat you better then they treated me.

If you're lucky enough to see the twins roaming about the store, ask them what they think you should buy -- I've been treated to them leading me directly to some of their favorite toys and requesting some one-on-one playtime. Every guest is family to these two. The Cat Lady curates her wares carefully. There are no cheap and useless toys here, no knock-off nonsense that your cat will turn his back on, and nothing dangerous that may hurt your kitty's delicate sensibilities. Whether you're looking for cat-related jewelry and clothing, cat-related decor for your home, cat-related gifts for friends and family, or a treasure trove of catnip-laced paraphernalia for your long-tailed beauties at home, this is the place to be. We make a point to visit Confetti Cats at least every few months to pop in and say hello to the twins, and to stock up on the toys that have proven to be "kitty crack" to our own kids at home. Ask The Cat Lady where the catnip fur "carrots" are -- real rabbit fur pouches stuffed full of catnip and topped with colorful bursts of bird feathers. Every fresh batch of these that we bring home results in hours of joy with our little ones.

I have been a customer of Amelia Florist for the past six years. I would say I visit not in…read morefrequently. Today an arrangement was done for me that I was very unhappy with. I took it back in and the customer service was outstanding. Client retention and value - all but lost art. The young woman and helping me (I wish I had gotten her name), was apologetic and promised to make it right. She and another team member immediately went to task, reworking the arrangement and adding flowers to make it fuller, asking for my feedback along the way. When they were finished, she made sure I was happy with it before boxing it up. She also threw in a little something extra for my trouble. Her words were what were most impressive. She said." thank you for trusting us with your business and for giving us the chance to make it right." Businesses everywhere can learn a big lesson here. They could've lost me as a customer.
