The office itself, especially the waiting area is absolutely not considerate of family members, or others accompanying the patient. The waiting area is cold and unfriendly. Wait time is typically an hour or more, which is not the bad part. There are no accommodations for those waiting aside from a bathroom. I would suggest a drink station to at least include water. Most waiting areas I have been to, have a coffee and water station, and much better climate control. Guests of patients having surgery are asked to wait in the lobby, and not leave the premises - I understand the importance of this. However, I do not understand the lack of any effort to keep those waiting at even a minimal level of comfort. Please take this as constructive criticism and consider the needs of ALL of your customers, which does include family of your patients.

I came in for oral surgery and was clearly and concisely informed of all my options. Dr. Austin Gray, the oral surgeon, did an outstanding job educating me on things I didn't know, while also sharing interesting stories from his background as both an anesthesiologist and an oral surgeon. It's the evening of my surgery, and I'm amazed that I still feel no pain. The entire procedure was flawless from start to finish. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I asked a simple question about having x-rays from the dentist that referred me sent over and Doctor Gilbert (an incredibly rude, high tempered old man) came into my room screaming at me over the fact that they do not use computers in his office and I should of known that. First of all, in this day in age, especially in the medical field, who the hell does not have some sort of computer set up? So he charged me to have x-rays retaken because he refuses to use technology as simple as computers to exchange important patient information from the doctors who referred their patients to his establishment. He became red in the face over my simple x-ray question, tried to throw me out of my appointment and told me he didnt have time to answer my stupid questions, so do I want the procedure or not because he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. He grabbed my wrist and put a needle in my hand without telling me what he was doing, hooked me up to an IV and started pumping me with anesthesia without saying a word. Then said you will start getting really dizzy in about 15 seconds and left the room! With the nurses! Not only did he give me no heads up whatsoever that I was about to be put to sleep but after injecting me, he left me completely unsupervised! I want to sue! You cannot treat your patients this way! It is absolutely absurd. This man has absolutely NO bed side manner. The office itself is a joke, incompetent staff, no parking where you wont get towed, and on top of that no air conditioning. If you need oral surgery, simple or complex: please please PLEASE do not even consider this ridiculously inadequate establishment. This office answered my call on June 2 and got me in at 10 am the next day (6.3.2025). I think the transition was easier since I was already established with Aspen. My insurance never covers the fluoride treatment that I always opt for. It was $22.95. It sucks that it is an hour and a half away from me. It sucks also that this office is not nearly updated and as modern as the Hobbs office was, but I'm very satisfied with the friendly, fast, and efficient service! I checked in a few minutes early and was out in less than a half hour. I'll be back in December unless something drastic happens yet again.

Some of the things I look at when choosing a Dentist include: new dental technologies, experience of the dental team and a clean and modern facility. I definitely made the right choice! Newest dental technologies are important to me because it means the dental team has the latest and greatest equipment to care for their patients. One piece of technology I especially look for is the availability of SAME DAY Dentistry (usually used when talking about crowns). Typically, getting a crown takes messy impressions and then WEEKS of waiting while the lab creates the crown. With same day dentistry, the Dentist will scan your tooth and the crown is made THAT DAY, IN OFFICE and places it before you leave saving TONS of wait time. I'm familiar with the CEREC system but I believe Dr. Bell mentions a E4D but it appears to be similar. Other technology that I noticed at this office include an easier/quicker digital Xray system, intraoral cameras, etc. You can always have a wonderful staff but if their equipment is from 1960, that concerns me. So once I know the technology appears to be "up to my standards" I look at the staff. Luckily, Dr. Bell and his staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Dr. Bell has excellent bedside manner. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A new Dentist has joined the team, her name is Dr. Mohn and she is great as well! I've had the pleasure of having Courtney and Monica as my dental hygienists and they're both AMAZING. They were equally awesome with our daughter's FIRST DENTAL VISITS (which can sometimes be traumatic for kids)!!! I LOVE that there was no need for us to go to a specialized pediatric dentist! To round off our amazing experience here, Health Centered Dentistry has a beautiful, clean and modern office. The waiting room is gorgeous and comfortable! The team appears to follow all guidelines keeping their patients safe and healthy! I highly recommend Health Centered Dentistry!
